just doesn't work. And they give you like 3 literal seconds to get it ready anyway, even if you have it DL'd already. App takes forever to load anything, and there is never a good connection inside the theater. Great idea, horrible execution.
Completely unusable. The app crashes halfway though the first load bar. I say first but I don't know what happens after that load bar. Could be the only load bar. Latest gen samsung phone.
it's a cool app but I dont feel like it's worth having on my phone for the 10 seconds maybe once a month I use it. If it's meant to fill time before the movie it should fill more time.
wow. that was so fun. like I was right there watching it from the driver seat. it amazing how games have changed throughout time.
Used to be fun now all it does is crash...sad that i can't save the theater! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Edit: that's exactly what I'm running mate-2 stars back for working on it! Keep fighting the good fight!
App won't stop crashing. It won't open pass the loading screen it sucks to even use when you can't even open the app to use it
Game was really fun, But I was having a few problems with the controls in the racing game.
Noovie crew helped me with the problem, so I'm fixing the review accordingly. Saving old one below for context regarding response. Games are fun, account creation is TERRIBLE. I tried to sign up and the site glitched before I can type the confirmation number. Now I can't sign up because it says I have an account but I can't sign in because I didn't confirm it. Worst part is, I'm not even given the option to reconfirm! What gives?
I like the concept. but it would work better for the scanner to scan a qr code that takes the room into a lobby that starts the race
Fix the app. It never opens. As soon as it loads it crashes.
love to play while waiting for the movie to start. plus getting a exclusive content before the movie starts its a plus.
The app will not load. It constantly closes every time I try to run it. I have the latest version 3.6.0.
This isn't a bad idea, but like many others stated, there is not nearly enough time to download it unless you know about it way ahead of time. It also didn't even work for me. It just stayed on the "Point Camera at any Arcade image to begin" screen. And it did that more than once. Maybe this can be solved by allowing a zoom in feature, but it's not very useful as is.
maybe I needed to have the app open before the previews started? couldn't steer the car. never saw baddies to shoot.
Started to load and shut down back to phones home screen. Did this on movie theater at CineMark myrtle beach, sc. Had 5g with full service.
Takes so long to load, it usually misses the start of the game. So I got it ready right when the announcer said and it ended up switching to the "Are you still there?" screen right as the game started. Last time I tried to use it, it failed to activate 3 games in a row. It only triggered for a minute when I aimed it at the example phone on the screen.
Was to easy to install and play. It's a nice little distraction before the movie

Good luck trying to download and install in 16 seconds when you're at the theater. The app sucks. The concept is cool but the implementation is terrible. It's incredibly slow to connect to the games and the games controls are slow and difficult. Not gonna keep it on my phone... Which would be the only way to have it in time to play it at the theater.
not enough time to open the app. The game has already started by the time the camera activates.
I absolutely love this app!! It's an awesome way to spend time in the movies before you see what you wanna see.
This game has given me a new perspective. After seeing the insanely realistic aliens on my phone I can't leave my bunker. I'm terrified I feel ad if there is a real alien attack. Thank you noovie.
Will not let me create an account. It says the account already exists, so then when I try to log in, it says the account has not been verified. THIS APP SUCKS!
app is great when watching a movie with friends, gives bragging rights 10/10 5 stars, liked comment and subscribed
I love Noovie arcade. I always get to the movies early so can play b4 the movie start
There isn't any way to get back to main menu after you play the game. The theatre I was at had 3 games to play before the movie started, and once you get to the leaderboards for the first game there is no way to get back to the camera app to play the next game unless you exit out of the app completely and reload it. By the time you do this the next game is already half way over. Very bad design choice to have a user quit the app completely just to restart and play another game.
Keeps closing. Won't load at all. Been over a month
what a great idea and great pre-show fun. way better than over snacking

Finally had my app ready for the first time ever. Was super thrilled to experience my first Noovie experience but alas, my heart was shattered and my dreams were crushed as I sat there hopelessly trying to save the theater from the space invaders, with my app open but not doing anything other than prompting me to point my camera at the arcade screen. Not all hopes were lost though! As it seemed to work for the next racing game. At least it works half the time.
