May 21st update didn't fix the lag of photos being uploaded, after clicking on one, and trying to go thru the carousel of photos for the product. Please fix the time consuming, annoying, lag.
Tech and UI of the Nordstrom app is top notch... I have the spending history to prove it, haha. In all seriousness, the retail apps that glitch lose me and my business. Nordstrom app is solid. A tad long for some images to load, but I haven't found an app that has an ever changing inventory where that isn't the case.
Love the app, the only thing I wish was better is that it was more Android friendly. I get notified when a stylist sends me something but am always unable to find the area I can view those style boards.
Love shopping Nordstrom app! Only issue...their pricing is almost never up to date w/ other retailers. So, I often purchase discounted items elsewhere due to pricing differentials. And who has time to go through the price match-process? Takes forever!
I've been shopping Nordstrom for years and I love the ease of use with the app! The wish list feature is great and even includes my wish list items from The Rack. My only complaint, which isn't app-related, is that most of my wish list is constantly either sold out or unavailable....but I do like having the ability to receive notifications when any of these items are back in stock or go on sale!
Overall good app and extremely easy to navigate. Occasionally, takes a bit for some of the inventory/ pictures to load.
It's really frustrating that you can't use double points within the app and it's impossible to get to the website on your mobile device. Add this feature like the notes
I ❤ Nordstrom!!! Free shipping, free returns, nordy $20 notes and a fabulous selection. I'm a very good shopper so I look for the best price and shop sales AND their Customer Service Is excellent. I've been shopping with Nordstrom since 2000.
Does not reflect what's in stores. So you can drive out of your way to find an item the app says is in stock at specific stores, but won't actually be there. This is a great app if you want to see what Nordstrom sells. Update 3/17/22: if you want to apply a gift card or an employee discount, you're not always given the option at checkout. This results in phone calls and trying to get a price adjustment, returning item and buying it again. Why can't this be fixed already??
Nordstrom has such great customer service from the credit card department to orders to shopping at the store. Because of this it is almost the only department store I shop at.
Easy shopping. I like the shopping parameters. Makes it easier to find the specific items I'm looking for.
So easy to shop with this app. Easy to navigate and love how it keeps recently viewed for reference. My favorite is free shipping and free returns!
Frequently shows blank pages lately of products. Seems to have happened after an update.
I love Nordstrom and I use the app on the regular. The biggest problem for me is that it doesn't filter well. You can filter for dresses and get a few denim trousers mixed in, or a sprinkling of men's shoes. V odd.
Great app. I don't like having to select my "wishlist" everytime I want to save an item but I understand it's designed to support multiple lists. Just wish there was a way to reduce the number of "clicks". Outside of that, I love it.
Always prompt service. Usually sent on a hanger ready to wear. Thats an issue for me. I like it pressed ready to wear or give as a gift
Ive been with nordstrom for 3 years now, and still am. Love the products and customer service is always on point.
Always the best customer service, experience + products. Keep up the great work Nordstrom!
Great app. Easy to use. Wish I could save brands I frequently buy to avoid always filtering but otherwise great.
I know I'm getting exceptional quality clothing for a great price!! Plus many benefits from the Nordy club.
App is easy to navigate and placing an order is a breeze. I also love the instore and reserve features to help me find/try items when I'm able to get to a brick and mortar Nordstrom. The only bad thing is that I've never found the notes feature to work in the app to check total amount of notes/points on my account. Since I rarely use notes this isn't a big deal for me. Update: Notes are now easily visible when checking out. I use this app regularly and have no problems with it.
It's a great App that's allows me to chose exactly what I want. Reading reviews helps as well.
I love Nordstrom (the store), and they do a nice job of making the app match their reputation for A+ customer service. Some of it's not intuitive (there's no "save" or "go" button when filtering, for example; you just hit the back button and everything is magically saved) but it's mostly user friendly. My one complaint is that you can't do anything with your points via the app, like making a particular day your 10 points day -- you still have to call them for that. So annoying.
The navigation needs improvement. If I've done some searches and browsed product, I have to back out multiple steps before I can get to my wish list. It's a huge pain. Sometime items at the bottom of the page get cut off. Also slow to respond. Another complaint is that when selecting filters, I can only choose one at a time in a category. There's really no reason for this limitation.
Difficult to send things to various addresses for gifts. You have to be certain to double and triple check that your item doesn't go to the last address used. I've had three items get sent to the wrong place. They try in customer service to correct it when you use the chat feature, but the ap launches the order directly to the vendor, and if you do not get the address correctly the first time, which is difficult to do, because there is no review toggle, you're doomed.
Easy to use interface, works well with Android. I especially like the ability to access my account to check my points and notes available. Would be nice if there was better capability to filter by size when you have multiple categories selected (e.g. looking at shoes, bags, and clothes at the same time). Would like to be able to have all of the sizes available to filter out so I dont have to look through each category individually.
Pros: VERY easy to shop. Real time accessibility of inventory and stores that carry items (pretty accurate for the most part), links the credit cards and your rewards so you can apply them towards your purchases, keeps a tally of all your reward points, and remembers all the items on your wish list or saved for later category. I can literally make a purchase in seconds. Cons: Slightly dangerous because they make it so simple and would be disastrous if you have a shopping problem.
Some product images take longer to load while looking at product page, other than that I love how easy is to checkout 🤗
Just getting sick of the filter options. I don't want to see the latest gender inclusive brands or dresses, purses, crop tops etc when looking for shorts or shoes. Give us a filter so we can browse without having to view and sort through traditionally female wear. I used to love browsing now I'm just annoyed.
