App does not open after installing on Android, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 as of 4.2.22. This is not the first time I've had issues with this app installing. Update: Interestingly, after posting the above review, the app opened and was functioning properly. Raised the rating to three for the frustration.
Wow, Nordstrom Rack sold the same product twice and did nothing to make up for the inconvenience. Absolutely terrible customer service, I would recommend spending your money somewhere else. This app worked significantly better when it was Hautlook. Now it regularly freezes, I'll get notifications about flash sales and when I open the app they aren't there and it's just generally worse now. The sales are still great but I've been very disappointed with the U/I
Love using this app because I've been enjoying shopping at the company in-store for a long time. My strongest draw are rack shoes and then purses. Unfortunately, can't always find clothes for my size online. Will not stop me from using this app to easily look for what I go after. My only minor disappointment is when shoes for my large size feet are not available 😒
I can't add a new card. It says there is a connection error anytime I try to save a new card. I am stuck using an old card to place my orders. It's been 6 months and the error persists.
App crashes, need a pw to view your cart, doesn't show prices unless you add items to your cart. Really terrible marketing strategy on their part.
The prices are not better then you can find elsewhere online. They just make you think they are by saying "its normally this price" but it isnt. Plus, they charge you $10 to return items. Not worth it. I regret getting this app. And I regret making any purchase through this company.
Only.keeps.items.in your cart for 15 minutes which of course makes it very difficult to shop esp. since one obviously doesn't put their items in at the same time. So it's back and forth, back and forth all the while trying to get back to where you were. They REALLY need to tweak this app. Also many times I'll have 3 of the same item when I ordered one. Annoying but I've gotten some great deals . You have to be quick and check the app constantly to really get the good deals.
It's a basic app. You can check status of orders, etc. I wish you could save favorites, but you can't do that on their website either so it's not a feature that the app is lacking (just a feature missing as a whole). I have been trying to figure out how to leave reviews on items, so the app is either missing that feature or it's not user-friendly. So irritating that items are removed from the cart after a certain amount of time. Overall, I'll keep the app because I love the store.
I think this app overall works well, it's easy to search and find things. However, my biggest complaint is that there is no wishlist or a way to save items to purchase later. My online shopping often consists of browsing, saving, thinking about what to buy, and then eventually deciding what I will buy later. Having a way to save those things instead of just putting them into my cart would be much more convenient. That way if I don't want buy everything I want at once, I can save it.
Its broken. when i select a category from the men's menu it says server connection? I'm on WiFi. I love this app because you can find good quality of clothes for really cheap. it doesn't have a wish list because they go fast. you gotta check it regularly and when you find it get it because it will sell out. hautelook is very different way to shop but great deals.
Nordstrom Rack is my favorite store of all time. That's the ONLY reason I'm tied to this app. But the new interface is worse than previous versions, and it's not nearly as intuitive. Even though there are new features I do like, it all seems rigid and feels clunky to operate when I'm searching for the clothing I want. Hopefully they change it back, b/c the app isnt as easy to navigate as it used to be. And the removal of HauteLook? A downright shame.
Scanner is terrible. Got the app to find items in other stores, and it seems like the app intentionally blurs the image making it impossible to scan. And if you search a barcode, it doesn't tell you if it was in stock. It just says unavailable without showing the item, so you can't tell if you put the barcode in wrong. For a company with such high profits, maybe they should invest a tiny bit more on app development and then test it in the real world.
pros - search filters are good, I like searching each size separately as well as sorting the items by best value, item popularity, or price. navigating the app is seamless and easy. cons - app freezes pretty often and there is no ability to save or like items for later purchase. you can't leave items in cart and return later and items are held for 15 minutes in the cart. also I've done one return and I could not do it through the app, which seemed odd.
This app is unfortunately not user friendly, it takes quite a while to figure out how to navigate and when you finally do you lose out on the sale or the item you wanted has expired and is no longer available. It gets annoying also I ordered an item and then looked to see the final order and noticed one of the items was canceled without any type of notification. Its better just to go to the store at this point
I actually give this app a 2 1/2 star rating. The variety of selection is okay. But also, the time frame they give you before checking out is WAY too short. Then if you want to purchase all items in your cart, you'd better hurry and do it quick before it all disappears from your basket. THIS IS something that I'm not very fond of. Hence, it makes it VERY hard for me to make ANY purchases at all.
The shipping is longer than initially described during checkout. Your order will ship from the supplier in 1-3 days but it may take up to two weeks to get your product. also the app double placed my order so I gave to bother with returning my duplicate order. The process needs to be refined. The app is great at the overall shopping experience though. It is real easy to filter through and see what is available.
This app is ridiculous! Tried to log in to make my purchase and not only would it log me in, but it emptied my cart when I tried to go back. I've had trouble with this app ever since being forced to change from Haute Look. Looks like everyone else has had issues as well, but there seems to be zero attempt to fix it. It's not even a matter of it being difficult to use, it's just non- functional. I'll be deleting this soon if they refuse to figure it out.
Why rid of hautelook?????? The app was perfectly fine never had any issues, and can always find what I needed without the headache. Everything that merges doesn't mean that one system needs to be replaced because the other do not have the traffic that the company is looking for smh. You people can really Eff up a system to your liking. Remember you lose money if customers have to go through hoops to make a simple purchase when there was a system in place before that worked just perfect.
I've had so much trouble with this app lately that I've about given up on using it. I used to love shopping with it but it is so buggy since the split from haute look that it's just a pain in the tush. Log in problems are persist. Can't seem to handle the switch from rack to haute look accounts yet they have asked you to set up separate accounts. I give up!
App is generally fine but sometimes freezes. The only thing I really dislike is that I cannot save for later or add to a wishlist. This way, my items are lost and I lose an item I was planning on buying. I won't waste my time looking for it all over again, so please add this feature. Or at least don't clear my items from my cart.
I am so annoyed with this app. Last purchase I made through the app was a mess, the confirmation emails never came through and I kept getting a service error message each time I'd hit the button to place my order. The app ended up placing the order multiple times and charging nearly 1k on my account but nothing was coming through on my end. Customer service took care of it, now it's about a month later and the log in won't even work. Can't favorite. Pretty pointless and frustrating.
Very good with a few glitches. I like the overall ease of use. Much better way to shop, I've improved my wardrobe a ton using this! Delivery takes a long time, so can't use if you are in a hurry. Only problem: when I try to view my prior orders, I can only open one. Then, the others will never load. The only way for me to view them is to exit out of the app and then open the orders screen again. I have a Samsung Galaxy android phone. I wish this could be fixed. Other than that, great app!
This app is not great. I have to login every time I want to use it, and when I finally get it to accept my login, none of my info from the website is transfered over so I have to put my payment and address in, which isn't that big a deal, except isn't that the point of an app to streamline your shopping experience. It's easier to go to the website where everything is always stored and ready to go. I'm unstalling this unnecessary app.
After I login, they say they are sending a code (for my security) to my email, but I never receive anything. It always happens when I try to use the app. Therefore, it is useless for me. If I want to order or check anything, I have to use my computer.
Doesn't work. Would not allow me to place an order. Constantly received an error message to check my contact information. I went online on my pc and experienced no issues.
