North American Birds Sounds
Featuring the American Golden Plover, Gray Kingbird, Tropical Kingbird, Xantus Hummingbird, Yellow Headed Blackbird and many more birds!
Bird Sounds can be played by tapping on a bird picture. All sounds can be saved as Ringtones, Notifications and Alarms by long pressing on a bird and selecting the relevant option.Birds can be grouped by family or alphabetical order (with and without headings) using the Menu Settings.
A Birdwatching checklist is included allowing you to tick off birds you have seen. Tapping on a bird on the checklist screen allows you to view more information about the bird on Wikipedia or perform an image search via Google images.
Personal Lists can be created too! Create a list of your favorite birds, or add birds that you've seen on a recent bird watching trip. Birds can be added to your lists from the checklist screen.
Mini games are also included helping you to learn the different birds found in this app: Guess the Picture, Guess the Sound and Guess the Name.
There are no ads present in this app.Permissions are required for saving birds sounds. All images and sounds used are royalty free.

Charged twice for this app. Needed to uninstall app due to app problems, re-installed the app, had to purchase it again.
It helped me fast an idea of how far off my guesses of what bird makes what sound are.
Where's the Great Blue Heron? I just saw one but apparently they don't exist in your app
This inexpensive paid version works great and very easy to use. The menu button does not bring up the settings menu. You must drag from the left to get to menu. Very nice app.
Some of the bird songs are low quality . Also need more birds. OK. For a buck.
I love listening to the birds, this app helps with identification. It would be AWESOME if we could select zones to make it specific to an individual area. The capability to select ringtones would also be nice. Thanks for a very nice app.
Needs the common loon and whipperwill
I paid for this app in order to be able to create a custom list of birds, it allows you to create a list, but it doesn't allow you to add Birds to it. it also makes no sense that you cannot find a rooster sound. also many of the bird calls are cut off right in the middle of a call instead of waiting until the bird falls silent at the end of a pattern.
