Best mobile banking app I've used! No extra clearances or days to wait for mobile deposits, everything is connected to one online account, charges (even pending) are shown instantly. Never had anything but excellent service from this credit union both in person, on the phone, and online. Highly recommend them and sister unions, especially if you need to establish your credit, it's the way to go!
The app works just fine however the ratio of push notifications regarding account balance, withdrawals, and deposits to the actual number of transactions happening is frustratingly disproportionate. If I get paid my phone will go off 3-4 times simply because of one bit of activity. I'd like to keep the notifications on but if they repeatedly tell me about things I'm already aware of they become bothersome and a nuisance resulting in me turning off push notifications.
I use the NorthCountry app almost every day and am very happy with it! The app is fast & reliable, displays information clearly, and makes bill payment and transfers a cinch. The one improvement I would love to see is the ability to easily transfer money from my account to another NCFCU member's account.
The app was fabulous over iphone. The same app over google phone is less spectacular. The details (or the actual history transactions) don't appear unless you reload the app twice at times. Some times the history and transactions finally pop up if you wait a few seconds. Could be better but it's a good app otherwise
Basic checking and savings account usage. App functions well. Mobile deposit is quick and useful, although picture clarity could be improved. Customer service is always helpful with issues if they do arise.
Works fine for me, love the fingerprint sign in. Transfers and paying bills are easy. Notifications are delayed but honestly you should know whats going on in your account anyway, or it takes 2 seconds to log in and look. I do wish you could see all transaction history, not just 6 months.
I have had this app a while. In the most recent update, it went completely trash. I can't log in oftentimes, whether through password or fingerprint, and when I do, I can't transfer anything between accounts. It's very frustrating. :/
Update(d again): This glaring issue has not been addressed and is becoming increasingly problematic: You cannot see all your accounts in one place. You must log out and back in to each account to view. It makes transferring between accounts and big picture budgeting a nightmare, especially if you accidentally move money into the wrong place. Login logout login logout login logout login.... Please fix this I have been asking for YEARS!
Been using this app for some time. Works pretty well for my purposes. So much more convenient (and safer) than going to the auto teller or CU, especially in bad weather or when you need to make an immediate deposit
App works when it wants to but then again so does the bank. Probably going to be switching banks since everything to do with this bank is an absolute joke! Nothing has gotten better with this bank, they switched from MC debit cards to Visa without telling people. Limited the amount of ATM's that could be used and the online banking app takes forever to work Want to deposit a check through the app? Better make sure you have the best lighting possible, write big and make sure you have steady hands
This is the best banking app, it is so easy to navigate! I have two other banking apps that I dont use because they are confusing. This app has all the info I need right on my front screen and any further information is easy and quick to find! 5 stars all day!
I love this app it's easy to pay my loan and if I want to add extra money I pay the payment and then turn around and do another payment and it goes straight to principle without any hassle. Although it would be nice if there was a budgeting tool
App has limited transfer functionality compared to online banking. App doesn't show any check or deposit images. App doesn't show incoming efts until they post. Compared to other bank's apps, this app is basic and limited and not intuitive.
The new photo capture works great 👍 no more trying to hold it steady and push the button. It auto takes the picture with a few seconds count down.
this credit union has been nothing but helpful in all aspects. my credit score is going up because north country has helped me with a secured loan and a credit card. everyone is very professional and helpful anytime i stop in.
works good when the app is online. app is down too often. transfer money between accounts or deposit checks as soon as possible because there's a good chance the app will be down when you need it.
Simple, easy to use. Don't have to wait in line at the bank! I love that I can do my weekly accounting (typically on the weekend nights) and deposit everything and not have to plan om a special trip Monday morning.
Easy to use. Love that there's a running balance and the payees are visible and convenient without having to click to view like another banking app I use.
Works great for mobile deposit, viewing a counters, bill pay and internal transfer. I would give it a 5 star except I can't do external transfers through this app yet
I would appreciate it if my money would get taken out of my account the day I buy an item. I have moved money over now 5 f*****g times now! That's ridiculous. When I hit "Buy Now" I expect the transaction to be complete.
It's a really good banking app. Im curious when they support might be added for Google face recognition. I miss my old phones fingerprint reader.

Smooth app; everything runs and works. Seems secure enough besides no text-login. Not very shiny but it works very well!
Very pleased with the app's seamless transaction experiences. However, as good as their account app is, it can never compete with walking into the Swift Street branch to be greeted by members of their fantastic staff!
It's easy to use. Would love definitely love it. If they would give you the option of using a password or using your fingerprint to open the app up.
Great app, almost never go into a branch because I can do it all here. Sometimes the deposit check has issues taking the image of the back of a check, says that it does not have a clear shot despite having good light, contrast and was able to take the image of the front of the check in the same position and lighting
