I like the fingerprint login, and the app is very simple to use. What I don't like is whenever I make a mobile deposit, everything looks fine, and I press "done", then the confirmation appears and the deposit number is totally different than the amount I deposited. It makes me uncomfortable.
I've been trying to install and run this app for over a year now. I've never gotten past the Loading... splash screen. This is not rocket science folks. You'd think Northeast would be able to deliver on their simple claim of having a mobile app that actually loads on one the world's most popular tablets running the world's most popular mobile operating system.
Doesn't work on my tablet. I am able to use it on my phone but I find not enough features compared to the full website. the my money feature is somewhat useful but I preferred it the way it used to be before they changed the format. I think there needs to be a change made to account for these issues. Thank you
The app doesn't show monthly balances/remaining balance on monthly payments for loans and credit cards. Its very confusing to read the transaction summaries.. Im never sure how much I have left to pay at due dates. Only useful for checking account balances
Worked good for years... but not lately. I've gotten a pop-up saying "Forbidden" twice in the last month or so. Then the app shutsdown. I reinstalled, the problem continued so emailed gscu. The app started working all of a sudden so rep couldn't see any problem. Not her fault.
You can't access it when you need it. It has less functionality than the website, and that's saying something because their website is stuck in the early 2010's. As an example, you can't download statements or even see them using the app, though there is an area where they should be. It's like they got bored and didn't finish building it.
Can't use the mobile app on a tablet apparently and the website is just awful. In an attempt to simplify how I handle my finances, all I've done is convinced myself that I will find different a mortgage lender, and not use NCU again once I pay off my auto loan. An update and/revision of functionality is highly recommended.
Atypical layout. With the apps to my other banks, it shows the actual available balance instead of the totals that include pending charges. I should be able to just glance at it... I had an overdraft because I assumed the app worked like every other one... just make it an option maybe? Also naming the different accounts would be nice?
Since I changed to this bank I've over drafted 4 times in the past 2 months or so because the mobile app is not correct or defective! One day it says no pending amounts and next day im charged $5 fee for over draft. Mind you I keep check the app consistently to make sure I don't overdraft. Today was the last straw. I'm changing banks. The people are friendly but the app itself is flawed and is making me lose money that I need. Again I watch my account like a hawk.
Can't even log in so far. Didn't accept the account and password that I just setup on your website. And when I request a password reset by text or by email it tells me it sent one but doesn't really send anything. I noticed it will tell you a code was sent no matter what random ID or phone number you punch in.
Unable to utilize mobile deposit option with my phone. I have called 2x with nothing being resolved. So frustrating! The people are always nice when I call but there's no solution.
App is broken. Recently before I could even get a chance to view my login credentials I am met with a popup that says Warning: Forbidden. Pressing OK just closes the app, and I cannot access my bank account as a result.
Low functionality and poorly interfaced with what could and should be available to members. In an increasingly mobile/app oriented world this is disappointing to say the least.
App always works unless they do work on it. In such a case an notification is send via email prior to the app being inaccessible
The icon keeps disappears from my desktop and my apps list every time I reboot my phone. I have to uninstall and reinstall it every time to fix it.
So i xan open it and use basic functions however i downloaded specifically to make mobile deposits and every time i click ro takw fron or back pictures of tge check screen goes black then goes back to the original deposit screen works fine on my personal iphone but my business phone which is an andriod is the one with the problems so i gave 3 stars cause its works great with one of my phones and only partly with the other
So far good. I've just started using the online. I hope it proves useful. I mainly opened it up because of not being able to get to the bank during the pandemic.
Idk if this is a constant issue but it wont let me transfer anything so I went to the website to find out why and it wont let me log in to the website. I assume I'll have to go to the bank to figure this out.
Won't let me do mobile deposits. I own a Samsung S21 Fe and whenever I try to take a photo of the check for direct deposit it crashes the app.
App keeps closing when attempting to make deposits. Closes after a picture, or closed after clicking deposit. Does not accept deposit.
Could not get to load correctly on tablet. Have app on phone but does not give you date credit card is due.
was OK, now keeps saying "network unavailable" when I'm very much connected to the internet.
Very helpful! Sometimes it says user blocked when all entered correctly.
Crashes in a continuous loop on my device when I try to open it.

Used to work for deposits until they updated it, now I keep getting an error stating the checks need to be endorsed.
Does not work. Stays stuck at the 'Loading' screen.

Not compatible with my tablet. Keeps showing launch over and over but, never gets to login. I really have to say, this app needs major help. It's clunky, won't shut down when you hit back repeatedly. I end up having to close all apps to get this thing to close on mobile . Who ever admins this app needs to fix these issues. There are many other CUs who have excellent apps. The only reason I have this account was for auto financing. I'll be refinancing and I'll be done with this nightmare app.
