No longer works on Samsung S21 Ultra after latest update. When trying to open, "Application has violated security policies and will be shut down."
Gave this app a one star before because it was not working with the galaxy ultra 22. After the recent update the app works perfectly fine.

App has come a long way. Super convenient. Probably never have to enter actual bank. EDIT- Hope I don't have to edit a bunch of times but app no longer works. Same issue with click programs as others have stated. EDIT-Latest update fixed issues.
I like this bank but they chose a poor app firm. If you relay solely on a bank app and not going in person, then this bank isn't meant for you. It's a shame too and doesn't make sense considering all of the other banking apps out there and what many offer. 1 nuance is you can't even adjust account history settings. Go on one account, only shows from the beginning of February to now- currently in March. Also very low mobile deposit amount allowed.
Zelle does not show or even exist anywhere in my accounts while using the mobile app, neither from the downloaded app or by accessing Northfield Bank through their website on internet. But it's there when I access my accounts via desk top or laptop computers. It should be there no matter what if bank connects to Zelle at all. And I use Zelle often. That is totally unacceptable! This happened to me several times, making me call corporate office and having someone fix the problem, again!
App worked for first couple of days. Now it keeps crashing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still doesn't work. Terrible for those who want to track their account with the convenience of an app.
This app is always down 70% of the time it won't even let me check my balance. The online banking without the app won't even let me sign always just says session timed out even though it's typed in quickly and precisely. So this is the better option although it's awful.
This is a simple, basic, and effective banking app. I know a lot of reviewers complain about this app, but I've never had problems with it. I've installed it on three new devices as I've upgraded/changed phones.
This app doesn't open after the last update
The number of times a check cannot be scanned properly, or my password doesn't work, or I am locked out entirely due to my app logins is too damn high. Banking without assurance of getting the job done.
Change password forcefully every 6 months. Thats just too much. Let the customer decide. You can warn the user or alert every six months, but to forcefully ask them to change password is not good. Also showing just one month statement in accounts is also bad. Please see CHASE and other apps to see how it should be done. Also the security questions don't work even when you type the right answer keeps popping up again.
App now denies usage on rooted devices. How is that different from using my mobile web browser to login or using a linux desktop PC? Both can still have root access. This is not for matters of security. This change was done by incompotent management at northfield bank. I'm closing my account and moving to a bank that knows how to make a functional app.
There seems to be an issue with the app where nothing is interactive. I'm currently using a OnePlus 5T(A510), Android 9, Oxygen 9.0.11. I've restarted the app and it still doesn't work. Will keep trying and will update rating if anything comes up.
Really great app for a great bank. The only problem is that you have to change your password every 6 months which is kind of annoying but overall great banking app!!
As bad as the bank itself. App constantly refuses to open. Honestly if you're using this Bank you know what your getting. Absolutely horrible. As soon as I'm able to switch my direct deposit I'm gone. Nothing but issues.
Efficient and helpful
App seemed to be fine until I upgraded to a galaxy S22. The app will no longer load. Hopefully this can be addressed quickly.
Too many updates that often force resetting login and fingerprint login. Also being able to get only the last 30 days of transactions is useless.
App crashes when I try to login everytime. I've literally never been past the login screen. Garbage.
After more than a year they have finally updated this app. It now works on my phone again. I was seriously considering switching banks just to get a working mobile app.
Can't log in, the app just Freeze's up and can't log in, after new update 2020 still can't login the freezes up.
Terrible QC- App refuses to even start claiming "we've detected the user of automated click programs…" when none exist. It's happening on other banking institutions' as well to other people. Hiring terrible coders to save money is probably what caused this false positive.
Very fluent! It's much easier than logging in on chrome or on a computer each time you need to view your e-bank account.

Hard to hold camera while it focuses over check. Otherwise, a brilliant way to deposit!
