I understand security issues, but seems I have to reverify all my accounts every login.
Useful for tracking income and expenses. Honestly, Mint works better for that though. Account linking can be finicky, but that could be from the other party's side. I had other investment accounts linked and could see their transactions, but my investment accounts through Northwestern Mutual just show a balance. That's just silly. Visually it looks great, but functionally it leaves a lot to be desired. It would be nice if it broke out the billing by account in a summary view.
They need to make it easier to draw money out, the same as how it's east to put money in.
Silliest app. Once finger print authentication is enabled, asks for login and password again!! Once we type in the credentials, prompts to "remember" for 60 days...only to get to this complete authentication circus the next day. App is slow...authentication navigation is horrible...UI is hopeless...zero stars for the app!! Please do some thing for these issues...
Logging in is a little excessive. Retinal scan, then a password, then a text pin to my phone, then another pin. Even if selecting remember my phone for 60 days. Yet it took me forever to figure out how to log out of the app. There's a lot of glitches. I would like the app if it wasn't so hard to log in and log out.
After latest update, app won't open. Also, my HSA account hasn't updated in two months. NM has missed the mark badly. STILL A ONE-STAR APP. Crashes every time I try to open it. Completely useless app. I guess I see where my fees *aren't* going!
Excellent, safe, secure free, method to bring your total financial status together under one easy to use application. Constant little improvements keep showing up which assures me that NML will continue to update and improve as perceived of value to its customers. I realize this must read like a paid endorsement, but after 60+ years with Northwestern Mutual Life as a customer, it's just fact.
Was a good app until recently, I can no longer connect to my bank or loans with reconnecting issues for minutes. My phone will turn off to save battery before an updated. Very frustrated with the developments on the updates recently.
Quick, easy, convenient, quick snap shot of ALLLLLLL MY FINANCES IN 1 SPOT! AMAZING! Investments, bank accounts, life insurance, and even goals my advisor set up are in there. I can actively see where I am at on my path for financial security and update it in real time with my accounts automatically. Truly incredible
As others mentioned. Hasn't worked since Pixel 6 came out. Keep hoping the next update fixes :(
I can only see my IRA total. I cannot see investment breakdown, year to date/monthly/weekly performance info, nor does it allow me to change anything. Largely useless app.
Won't work since getting an updated phone. Can't even open the app
Almost every TUESDAY to SATURDAY morning by 8:00am EST I can access, in this one place, a current picture of my net worth, all the components that impact it, with analysis of changes 1 day, 5 day, 30 day, 6 month, a year, and since inception. Very reliable and reassuring to me as a retiree.
Account links, which used to work, are all broken and don't work any more. Not a credential problem (I use Dashlane and the login on the websites work fine), but rather something that broke in this app
No good since recent update to their system. App and website through computer extremely slow to modify accounts. Was work very good prior to Nov-2021
The app was merely fine, then it stopped working altogether.
Constantly requires to you to re-enter username and passwords for connected accounts. Clunky and not user friendly. Plus ability to enter crypto in portfolio. No thanks
It worked great for a good bit of time, however in the last two weeks it keeps stopping after a few moments of use. Uninstalled it for safety.
great app to see your financial well being. you can connect outside accounts and view your monthly spending. I subtracted a star only due to the fact that one of my linked accounts won't show up at all.
Constantly disconnects from linked accounts. The whole purpose of this app is to get a snapshot of your entire finances and it does not deliver.
NWM Developers- what are you guys doing?? On what planet is it ok to break an app with the latest update and then just leave it broken forever? The app crashes as soon as you open it, and this issue is echoed by other user reviews. I think it has something to do with Android 12 compatibility, but how about you guys figure it out and fix it, since I'm not in the payroll. Get it together people... How much is your company worth and you can't even figure out how to maintain your mobile app??
Excellent tool to see a comprehensive view of my complete financial portfolio. This app has come a long way since it was first introduced.
Was a decent app;until recently. Now..I can not log in. Says it's sending a code- it never sends. How am I supposed to pay my bill?.check my insurance?.. Please fix it- this is frustrating.
It didn't show me all my NW accounts! It told me that to see my other NW accounts, use the web interface! So, I took that advice and uninstalled the app.
All I can see is my IRA total and a fairly useless "breakdown" of my largest holdings. Can't see any transaction details, gains/losses, or specifics of each holding.
NM has an awesome app with account aggregation features, secure file sharing, clean looking displays, and a user friendly interface.
this app is basically worthless. it only shows basic balances. no performance stats or ability to do anything. worthless.
allows me to view all my investments together with one sign in...they continue to update and improve the app as well.
Won't even open on Pixel 6. Come on, you knew this phone/os was coming and didn't have an update. Glad I've invested so much money through you that I cannot even use you app to see MY money. Do better
Fabulous App! Some major improvements to Account Linking I have noticed and can't wait to see what features are coming next!
