I tried this app because I wanted to use LSDJ to make music. I quickly noticed that audio would frequently skip while playing games, so this app doesn't fit my needs. There's also an audio pop whenever I open games, which is an issue that other apps don't have. Also unlike other apps, you're not given a warning prompt if you close a game without saving. Gameboy Color games seem slightly under saturated compared to other emulators. This app is still perfectly useable, but it's not my first choice
Very nice emulator. Looks crisp, plays decent for what I needed, has save/load states for the lite version, has enough custom options for this free version; namely the button resize option is great and it doesn't have ANNOYING ads. Only thing I m missing is a colour change option but it is locked behind thee pro version. No biggie, it is a preference after all, not essential for the enjoyment.
Probably more functional than most Gameboy emulators I've tried on the store... Just wish the dev could add Gameboy pallet and save states for free in the future? But I'm okay with auto saves at least for the time being! And there's no ads that get in the way of performance. Really good emulator! Keep up the good work!!! 💯👍
Love it one suggestion for this emulator as it is kinda a 2 in one is to have 2 folders for the ROMs, GB and GBC, instead of one full list. Other then that best emulator to date, when I can afford it I will pay for the pro version
Emulator works great, saves well, no ads. Only critique is that, side from mute, changing volume levels is reserved for the pro version. Free version works great.
This has work fantastically so far, it has run every game smoothly with no audio lag or corruption. Cheats run well, and has a toggelable auto save at where you last were befor closing the app. However there is no speed up button, but i belive that to be available in the full version.
Love it. This all plays all my GBC games with no issues. Also, the ads don't bloat the app (ie. they don't interfere with playback). I would highly recommend this app.
It's a pretty good gbc emulator except for the fact that you can't control the app's volume(you have to buy it). I'll have my phone's volume the lowest it can go but the app's volume is locked at 100% so it hurts my ears from being too loud.
Was great, but not so great on the latest Android update. This has been my go-to emulator for years but just recently the controls are all shifted in landscape mode. Meaning a tap is registered to the right of where I am tapping the screen making it very annoying to play on.
I use a bluetooth controller to catch up on the old games I miss and I couldn't be more satisfied. Retro on the go and it's so easy to use for a free version. I sound lo like I work with the app creator, but I just love that this is possible.
Based. If you toy with it, you can easily get the original button layout familiar to oldschool gamers. Easy on the eyes, sleek, attractive, and exceptional function. Have had absolutely zero issues whatsoever
Works like a charm. I've had no issues with it. Both visual and sound quality are good and it's really easy to use. I like that I can start a game right from where I saved it and love having the ability to change the layout of the game buttons to better suit me.
Very good emulator, but basically identical to the NES one. Plays GBC and GB games. Touchscreen buttons can't compete with an actual controller but that is where rewind can save the day, gets frustrating though.
Sometimes have a problem with the accuracy and the shape of the buttons, but because of the customisation that feels like more of a me problem. Runs games perfectly for me, no complaints.
Emulation quality is superb!!! checks all the important stuff (to be expected being based on BGB). However, it doesn't seem to have SGB mode (for colors in GB games), nor different pallets, meaning that you are stuck with greyscale.
I've been playing through tLoZ OoS and so far it's run perfectly. The controls are good and it's easy to use. Overall amazing, would definitely recommend.
Ummm.... Aside from other GBC emulators, this one is ad free, and allows you to do everything without fail. I love apps like this... where they make it for ppl like myself who really like playing retro games, without gimmicks and financial harrassment.
Simply amazing. Using this for years now. cannot fault what so ever. my only request would be..... make a similar app for the master system. Branch out and do a Sega emulator. Thank you for an awesome app and saving my sanity by giving me a distraction at work.
All the Nostalgia emulators work great. Loading games is so easy it spoils you for other emulators where you search your directory. Ive never encountered any problems running any games I use.
No lag at all even with fast forward, has save/load states, responsive controls and enough settings to play at your liking but not enough to overwhelm you!
A great emulator. It runs games at a smooth rate and is suprisingly crystal clear graphics. Ive tried other emulators on the store, and this is the best one.
Exactly what it says now I can play Crystal and silver cla without adds. A bitt laggy but probably just because I play it on an old phone
A great emulator it finds ROMs on my phone EASILY! Great app, but I would really like nostalgia emulators to make a NDS emulator because every other NDS emulator couldn't find ROMs on my phone.
Usually i dont review but i just had to because of the amount of hate this app is getting. 1. No its not a copy, this one was first and the others copied it. 2. Its a gbc emulator not a gba emulator so dont complain that it cant find your gba rom. The app is great and very user friendly, i didnt have any problems while using it.
Unable to navigate to my SD card to find ROMs. I can't test its emulation capability since I can't get it to find my ROMs. I don't want to store ROMs on my phone's internal storage.
It's an amazing emulator, and works really well, but I wish there was a way to fix the audio delay. If there is, I'll change my rating to 5 stars.
Great emulator for free, the paid additions are nice, but not essential. the only thing I would really like to see is a way to do game link for games like pokemon.
Easy to use, pretty responsive, no performance issues yet that weren't on the original GBC and the ads are pretty uninvasive. The only issue I have is that I can't seem to get the d-pad in a really good spot because you can't even slightly overlap buttons and there are a few extras that I don't use and I can't remove them.
