Notation Pad - Sheet Music Score Composer

Ads, so many ads, wanna load a song? Ad. Wanna save? Ad. Need to go back a to a menu? Ad. Frankly I was shocked I was allowed to even add some notes to the page without an ad playing between each note. Besides that, adding notes is hard. Moving AT ALL when tapping and holding over the page will move the page rather than add a note. And since that is the main thing I'm doing when writing, this is a deal breaker 100%

mediocre - the note input crosshair is so thin it can hardly be seen. i dont like that the page continues to float after I've moved it. I want it to stop where I put it. I've practiced using it for a while, but ultimately, to me it feels like it needs some maturing and polishing before I can do some committed, dedicated work using this tool.

Pro: Clean interface, provision for treble and base clef staff, seemingly unlimited measures per composition. Cons: Accidentals must be assigned on each bar, no way to shift notes if accidentally misplaced (50% mistake even with tablet), super difficult to select note to delete (req too high accuracy. Takes tapping around 4 to 5 times before catching note), can't temporary assign clef to a bar, can't change time signature (fixed at 4/4), can't copy song sheet, can't select where to start playing.

Everything you need is in the extras package. You can't even change the tempo without paying. I'm not inclined to pay since I couldn't place any notes on the paper for some reason. My suggestion is that the creators make this an app that's listed as x amount of dollars in the store. People install this free app, realize it's not free, delete it, snd share the information. If it's listed at, say, $3.00, people won't be upset to discover that it's not free. It does have many useful things, though.

DO NOT GET THIS APP!!! Biggest reason why: So I bought the app and some of its extra voicings, but now it's saying I must purchase it again. Ten dollars is fine to be able to access all of the content, but then add on five dollars a sound part that's really steep, especially for the quality, but then on top of that you have to buy it all again. Trash app, waste of money would've given zero stars if that were an option.

The app has some nice features! Its easy to use and works... Kinda. I bought the extra feature bonus pack thing, and it worked!... Kinda. While i was using it during the session i bought it, it was working fine. Satisfied, I leave the app and do other things. Once returning to the app, it asked me to buy the extras pack... AGAIN! I bought it after seeing that others were experiencing this, thinking i would be different. DONT DO THIS! The developers dont care. This app is an actual scam.

app basically useless if I can't export my work... it crashes and I'm not sure if it actually exports I don't know where the folder is some people said it works. don't wanna manually copy and paste lmao I thought this super lite app would just be aight with limiting features but nope time to get musescore it's not like I'm low on storage, oh wait jk the mobile version sint editor time to find other sheet music making app bye

First attempt to build a very basic bar of 1/8th note triplets in 4/4 failed. I can build triplets on beats 1 through 3 but on the fourth beat it won't let me add another triplet. Because only two eighth notes will fit into the remaining space I can't add a third one to build the triplet. If I add the third eighth note into beat one of the next bar and then try to use the triplet feature to tie the three together it won't recognize the third note and tells me it can't find enough notes.

This app seems decent but is loaded with ads (it even gave me a duplicate ad after I accidentally clicked into the video tutorial and back) You also can't change the key signature in free mode so unless you buy the premium version it's extremely limiting.

Fabulous application! Notation Pad is very effecient with the battery, wow! I wrote an entire fugue at 38% then watched the battery drain as I admired my work. I was able to gear the application to my work and knowledge, so first species counterpoint became a feat in composing. I love it!

I've used this app before, it's a great app for transposing physical sheet music over to a digital version, but it would be nice for there to be a feature where you could take a picture of sheet music or scan it on a printer and it's inputted into the app

On the surface this looks like a great app. The UI is polished and well thought out. Unfortunately, you have to pay for what should be included features. Additionally, there's no way to open files exported from the app using the same app on another device. I didn't find this out until it was too late. Good money gone.

I paid for the app and I paid extra for the sounds that I wanted. The app crashes when I try to export a file. This makes it useless. I have sent three emails to the developer and not received a response. I should be able to get my money back. don't waste your money on an app that doesn't work with developers who don't respond!!!

Does not work on my Galaxy Tab S5e based on Android 11. My score was suddenly erased while I was using this app, and could not be recovered. At the same time, I confirmed three empty scores were saved despite I had never saved any scores until my score was erased.

I got this app expecting to get a FREE music notation app. I got on and tried to change the instrument, I then found out that you cant do as much as changing tempo with out paying. Like what the heck it is just terrible.

This app takes payment for in-app purchases fraudulently. I was trying to exit a screen with an incomprehensible display, and the next thing I knew it had taken money from my credit card. It gave me no opportunity to cancel the transaction, and didn't even tell me I was making it. This app STEALS YOUR MONEY. ITS MAKERS ARE THIEVES, and are about to be prosecuted under the terms of the Theft Act 1968.

Everything is amazing, but there is an issue that I've always hated. I can't seem to remove the dynamics symbol in the score which I've been frustratingly trying all possible ways.

The app doesn't let you calculate the triplet notes that you need right before the bar line of the measure. I can't put 4 eighth notes triplets into one 4/4 measure. It's a shame, I was starting to like it. Next ->

Each time you try to export your file, the app stops working. Which happens often when changes are made. Not good!

Things that should be really basic, like signatures and clefs, need to be paid for. Also the input system with the crosshair is very impractical.

When it works it's awesome. But inconsistent, I start to compose for a class and cant erase or wont put in my notations. INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING! And yes I bought the app.😞

The only thing I wish I was able to use was changing the time signature - when I was writing my music, I had to convert a song in 3/4 time to 4/4 because I couldn't change the time sigature.

I refuse to pay for an app that the developer abandoned 4 years ago. Can't pick alto clef or strings without paying. Can't export right.

DO NOT BUY!!!! Paid for the full app so I get more staffs, but now you want me to pay for each instrument group!!!! Found this on a top 10 list. Does not live up to the online review. Wish I could get my $10.00 bucks back!

This app makes you pay to be able to change the instrument and tempo, and then it steals more money from you anyway. Dont get it. I am more than moderately frusturated with how much money you lose thanks to it.

Current Update wont upload midi file. Keeps crashing. Please fix. I enjoy using this app for composing music.

Complete rip-off, waste money yourself if you don't believe me and the other reviews, I recommend using the Flat.io website instead, it is much easier to use and completely free.

This app isn't my type. You have too buy it to set the tempo, so all your songs are way too fast, and it's so unaccurate.

This app works great for me, even though I had to pay to get everything, but I didn't have to pay too much. The only.problem I have is that all the instruments are in the key of C and not in their correct keys. Please fix this.
