Note Everything

Really good app, I love the folders feature and how you can personalize the colors so much. My only issue is the copy and pasting. You can't select just a small portion. It won't let you use the selection to get just a few words or anything, it only goes right to select all. When I do click "select word", it doesn't do anything at all.

Nice little app for the basic features and look that it has which is all I need. But, selecting to copy paste text from a document you are editing causes the cursor to automatically jump to the top of the document so I have to find where I was in the document to select the text again. Very annoying, seems like a bug, please fix.

I've been using this app for quite some time and I'd like to say that the dev improved it over time but they have not done anything about some very obvious shortcomings that they have to know exist. For example, the 'select word' function always selects the first word only. Also, an image can't be pasted or imported. I'm sick.of waiting so I'm moving to another app that has already addressed these issues.

The only notepad I found to open urls, web pages. Works well. I got it for that ability alone. Plus it will share those to my other note taking apps. It also will share audio note files to messaging and email if one is so inclined. One should always backup notes to email so they won't be lost. Don't know if its supported anymore. Hasn't been updated for many years from the looks of it.

I think you guys need to update the Copy & Paste features not available in normal portrait view. I am forced to rotate to landscape view to be able to cut and paste. Also, I found a whole bunch of old files from an old phone where the notes got exported without tittles. Please fix this. Then, this app would truly be a 5 star app. Thank you.

This is a fantastic App and I've used it extensively, on all my old devices, that said the only frustrated problem I have is that if you lose the App or device it is on, and redownload it, you can no longer be selective on certain text, unless you leave the note the text is on and go back each an every time and select and copy each an every time which takes a long time to do so. If you fix it Ill rate it better.

FIX THE CLIPBOARD ! If you can't cut and copy text from a text editor, it is useless as far as inter-operating with other apps or sharing anything on the Web. There have been no updates since 2016, but they still take your money. Bad boys! No excuse. Hire some college kid to fix this app! This would be a 5 star app, but without the ability to exchange simple text, it is useless. Just as well or even better to use pencil and paper. Until then, (and I will be watching) one star. If and when fixed, 5. Thanks, I hope.

Love this app. Have used it for years. Wondering if it's even still supported, as there have been no updates in 3yrs. Installed on my dad's Android 9 phone, got a message saying it might not function properly. No response from developer when you email them. It will be a shame if it doesn't work on future versions of Android, as I haven't found any other note taking apps as versatile as this one.

i have used this app for years and loved it during that time, i have transfered my notes to 3 different phones during this time, but now it seems as if the developer has become greedy and changed the app to where you can no longer import your backup you can only export a backup unless you purchase the "pro version", this was a giant slap in the face recently as i have a phone that got wiped clean and didn't find out that i could not import my backup file that i had saved. Thanks!

I honestly loved Note Everything as an app that I could write all my ideas and storylines into without any super bells and whistles... unfortunately, I lost a ton of amazing content I'll never get back when my phone broke. I would have loved this app more if I could have my Dropbox or Google account linked to save my back-ups so I can save myself from worrying about something like that. I'm sure you can in the pro edition, but I just want something simple that saves to more than my device.

Still think this is best but: NOTE 8 - Android 9: Not updated in 3 years. Even so it still is worth 4 stars. Needs to update the copy/paste function & menu, etc. I can export text. I can do all the functions. Including backing up to Google drive. But cannot save to the SD card. I have tried every Note app and paid for many of them. There just isn't anything as functional as this except it must be updated. Please please update I will pay for Version 2! I am now looking at Orgzly or Google Keep.😭

Good but some basic features missing 1. Can't copy a note. Typed something and want a copy? Can't. 2. Can't create chapters in long notes or an index. Scrolling and scrolling nonstop 3. Can't easily import pics into notes or add etc. Just a bit under developed. 4. Encrypted notes are bound to a phone. Can't transfer to another phone. Crazy 5. Can't search on content Overall I'm fine and used to the pro vers but I'm thinking to switch to something modern and far better.

The best app ever had. I'm using it for a years. One HUGE drawback is to be not able back it up on any server (Dropbox, cloud etc. ) In 2019 it's just unbelievable that app like this don't have an online backup. During years I lost 3 times my data and I couldn't restore (memory failed so internal backup worth nothing) but I came back to this app because I couldn't find anything better.

Like many other users, I have in the past appreciated this app, but apparent system changes in newer phones have caused this app to become buggy and some functions (eg. Copy and Paste) no longer work. With no updates for a long time, it seems this app has been abandoned. I would not recommend it. I'm hunting for an alternate at the moment

Used to be great, but now it's very, very buggy to the point where it crashes after about 30 seconds of using it. I came here to see if other users are having problems and it seems like the app has been abandoned. I back up notes by emailing them to myself after changing phones and losing everything.

i love Note Everything. I use it practically every day. Especially when I'm traveling. very simple to use and great variety of options. Good share features for individual files or notes. Hasn't been updated in a few years. I hope it sticks around. Bless the twins.

No updates since 2016. Will no longer allow shortcuts on desktop. No ability to selectively cut and paste. I think they have just given up improving it. Both our phones run Pro versions and the issues are the same on my Samsung J7 and Moto X4. I guess we are done with this app and switching to Evernote.

Don't expect any help from this app if you happen to need it, like I do right now (when I can't get my notes into my new phone). This is what will happen: to Your message to was automatically rejected: Quota exceeded (MAILBOX FOR USER IS FULL) Also, sed to love this app but you can no longer select text in any note. you can only select all text or nothing. i wrote the creator but didn't get help. I'll have to find another note app 🙁

:^/ I really enjoy this software most of the time, but copying my notes from my old cellophone to my new one is tedious. "Export To SD Card" doesn't ask where, and doesn't create new files. "Import From SD Card" requires me to tell the new phone where the old phone put it, which the old phone didn't tell me. Connecting both phones to my laptop via USB, then copying the Noteeverything folder from Internal Storage doesn't copy all files. Only 22 of 151 files were copied. :^{ Why is this?

I love this app. But when I installed in my new Galaxy S10 and I made my backup, Everything appears okay... But when I create new notes, this note only appears inside the application. When I explore the main folder to make a new backup of TXT files, there is no new file created! And the main folder has the same number of TXT files before the backup. I'm still using normally but very afraid to lose the new notes in the next backup...

Agree with most here that this used to be a really good app. I was going to buy the pro version when I realised that they no longer support this app and it's losing existing features as new Android versions are released. In addition to the other failing features already mentioned here, now it cannot do export text anymore.

I've been using this for about 4 years and one of the features I like besides that it works offline and it's not a subscription is that you can long-press and get a time or time date stamp so when I do my Daily Journal I stamp the time throughout the day nobody else offers that not even Evernote which I also use. The main problem though is the developer apparently gave up on updating the app and has not done anything since 2016 which is too bad.

It is clear to me that the developer no longer supports these apps. It has not been updated since 2016. I have written several requests asking about support. I get a quick canned response promising an answer to my query in three days but no follow up. I have used this app for many years and think it is great. But I suspect it will soon stop functioning after some Android upgrade and there will be no fix. I do not recommend others start using it.

Word processing in this app is highly dysfunctional. Creating folders is confusing and just forget about highlighting any text. The only option in selecting your text is to "select all". 2 years ago this was a useful app but then they thought it was good idea to destroy its functionality

Love this app. Simple, straightforward, easy to use. Love the ability for prioritization. One thing would be even better though it may sound redundant. Love to be able to highlight portions of notes. That is just me. Love the app.

Used this for years. Purchased pro add-on, and has never worked right with backup and sync over 4 phones, and last update for that was 2013. giving up and moving on to Google Notes which automatically syncs across my devices!

Loved the app until recent. PLEASE update the cut/copy and paste function. Can longer cut/copy from where the cursor is placed. It instead copies from the beginning of the note requiring more work than should be necessary.

I love this app and have used it for years, but my pixel updated to Android 10, & now I can't access the menu functions. No new notes, no editing notes, no checking off lists. Sigh. Please update.

Like other users, after most recent update the app does not work like it should anymore. I have used it for 7 years with no probs until now. I cant select a single word to copy and other copy paste issues. I will amend review after issues are fixed but for now i must use a different app.

The app hasn't been updated since 2016. The option to create a shortcut of a note to appear on one's home screen doesn't work anymore. I unsuccessfully tried to alert and inform the developers. I hope they will fix this.
