Note Everything Pro Add-On

I do NOT like giving this a one star review. I have been using since it was released. I've always had it. It's caused issues on occasion but has been unique, attractive, solid, reliable, straightforward with a variety of useful tools. It still has everything. It doesn't always function. It occasionally loses your pass code and renders useless your encrypted data. I cannot use it any longer. I am struck aghast at the lost links from my technical hauberk. Obviously not seeing regular updates...

I loved the app, especially the durable checklist. I've been using the app since probably 2012. But the backup feature does not work so everytime I get a new phone I have to manually transfer the information. That's assuming I had access to the old phone. Seeing its been 2.5 years since the last update I can't bring myself to keep using it if I'm going to invariably lose everything again.

Note Everything, together with this Pro add-on is a powerful note-taking app. I have been using it since I got my first smartphone and imported notes from a PDA! The ability to group notes into folders and subfolders keeps me organized. Reduced one star because the actual app is not available for Android 10 or 11, even though it seems to work OK. I saved the APK.

I ran into the same problem earlier this with Note Everything. This is just an add-on to the free version in order to take away ads. I got it years ago & I've taken tons of notes over the years that were backed up. Until this year I never had a problem re-downloading the backups when I got a new phone. This year when I got the new phone the free version was no longer available. All notes & grocery lists are gone & now I can't find anything that is anywhere close to being comparable to this app.

I really like the way notes are stored in folders and sub-folders. Easy to navigate. I also like the checklists and recurring checklists. Where this app falls flat is in the backups. I still have old copies of notes even when I do a fresh backup. The backups are not being updated. I recommend you avoid this app. You could risk losing a lot of data.

I've used this app for many years but it is no longer updated and old problems remain unresolved. Copy paste does not work correctly, when you select a note to stick to the top of the list it doesn't stick as you add new notes, and some other issues. I like a lot of its features and I will miss it but I am hunting around for a replacement that is kept up-to-date and maintained.

This app is only an add-on for the free version of Note Everything, which currently does not exist in the Play Store. Was very disappointed to learn this when my last phone crashed and tried to re-install on my new phone. Now all the notes I had backed up and have saved over the last several years are gone. Hundreds if not thousands. I wrote to the developers 2 weeks ago to ask what my options are and have not heard back. I can't believe all I've lost. I feel sick.

Long time user. Really liked this app, although it has a few quirks that can be annoying. However, I just updated my Note 8 to Android 9, & I get a message that Note Everything is not compatible, and to contact the developer. I realize this app has not been updated in 3 years! So, I am contacting the developer: Please update, or I will have no choice but to find something else.

I have loved Note Everything Pro for years now, and am happy to report that those who have "lost" the free base version can actually obtain it from the developer's website, as it still resides there. I do hope that they might pick up the torch again, but the original free version with the Pro add-on works perfectly well for me under Android 11. It is bit of a trick, though, trying to figure out where your existing version has been putting backups, or will put backups to ZIP files if you make one. I had originally set mine up to go to my microSD card, but eventually Android blocked that so Note Everything set up a noteeverything/backup folder on internal storage. I was able to snag my most recent backup from there, carry it over to my new device, and place it in internal storage under the noteeverything/backup folder there, then use the backup/restore function to get all of my notes back. I'll keep using this wonderful app for as long as Android itself allows me to. But you still can use it, you just have to snag the Note Everything base app, which the Pro add-on requires, from the developer's website, since it has not been updated recently enough to comply with the Google Play Store requirements (which are a good thing, but painful when this sort of "disappearance" occurs).

Use to value this note application. It's not available with Android 10 and the version available at the developers website acts like it has bugs in it. Remember you need the regular version and then pro version for useful functionality. It freezes up when you try to select cut and paste. It freezes up if you try to search within your notes. The developer has not responded to requests on how to remedy this problem, how to transfer formatted notes to another application or how to recover notes

UPDATE: It doesn't appear that you are able to restore from a zip file. Upgraded phone & I am devastated... I have accumulated MASSIVE amounts of information over the years and I can't access it. BY FAR THE BEST note taking, to-do list, checklist, shopping list, etc. app you will find. I have used it for many years and it is one of my most crucial apps. IMPORTANT: Go to developers website to download FREE version first (it is not on Play for some reaaon but you must have before inatalling Pro)

I had this app on my old phone and LOVED it. I relied on it completely. Then my old phone died suddenly and I was forced to get a new one. Apparently, this app was made for older version phones and the developer has not kept it updated to work with newer phones. Now all the extremely important notes and info I had accumulated there is LOST to me. This is completely unacceptable, especially since I PAID for the Pro version! Please UPDATE! I am currently one highly unsatisfied customer!!!

I have relied on this app for years. Individual notes can be encrypted for security. 2 other apps are needed: Note Everything and the Note Everything Dropbox Backup. To transfer data to another phone, these 3 apps must be installed on it, then you select your source phone ID, and download the last backup from that phone. Easy enough and works beautifully. So delighted with this app.

Been using this app for many years and I paid t for the pro version. Had to get a replacement pixel xl because my last one stopped receiving and making calls. I thought it was related to Android 10 update but it was the phone. Anyway, reinstalling all my apps and and couldn't find the original note everything so I went to their website and installed the apk file but this app isn't android 10 ready although it run. Expecting some flaws but please update and release the original.

Ever since I paid for the pro version, my NE Google Drive backup app (same developer) has not worked ("500 internal servor error"). I paid for the pro version to support the developer, so I am very disappointed that I now cannot back things up to my Google Drive account, which is a downgrade from the free version! NE Google Drive sites "500 Internal Servor Error". NE Online Backup just does nothing when I try to upload to Dropbox. Nothing else has changed, I was using them right before purchase.

I bought the pro version and it worked fine on my last two phones. Just got Pixel 6 and downloaded the pro add on, but the free part is not on playstore, so the app doesn't work. This is why I hate paying for apps. The developers take the money and run.

It is clear to me that the developer no longer supports these apps. It has not been updated since 2013. I have written several requests asking about support. I get a quick canned response promising an answer to my query in three days but no follow up. I have used this app for many years and think it is great. But I suspect it will soon stop functioning after some Android upgrade and there will be no fix. I do not recommend others start using it.

I've been using this Pro app for years. It looks like the useful life has ended. The free app can longer be found on the the Google Store and since it is required for the Pro unlock, it looks as if our favorite "admin assistant" has walked out of the office for good. It was nice while it lasted.

Great app. The best note take imo. Sadly the main app which is free but needed is now missing but the pro addon is there. It was easy using apk extractor to pull the older app from my older phone and xfer to my newer phone and restore notes.db to the place it expects it after going into database admin and doing a restore on new phone. Everything came back including the encrypted notes. Durable checklist is best feature, albeit chapter markers missing for long notes. Shame its gone.

Since free version is not available on Google Play store anymore. You can get the app from official website for free and install it on the latest Android OS. Don't buy add on, it's not the actual app. My favorite note app for a long time.

Just horrible... lost all my notes Used it for years, since I moved to android from palm. Notifications stopped working and I was going to reset everything but now the Free version is gone. Get the free version from Amazon app store. Just did that and was able to restore the backup

I've had this app for many years and have loved it. It has changed over to many new phones. I had to buy a new phone and in the process of changing things over, I lost years of notes, and I had originally bought the upgraded version of this app. No one from this app, will contact me to help me reload, and it tells me that I have to download so many things that do not help. Because of their costumer service I wish I could give it a negative rating. I need my notes, and there's no one to help.

Most unfortunately this app appears to be really broken, with the latest android version (10) on 23 Dec 2019. Such a shame as this was SO USEFUL! Now when trying to select text for copy & paste, the selection plum refuses to co-operate. S10+. I'd be very willing to review this back to 5 stars if it gets fixed. So far no developer response. 😭

I had this App for year and only wished for a few changes. My old phone was swapped for a new one and now the basic App (needed to run the Pro version) is gone. Now I'm back to the drawing board, looking into other note-taking Apps. Sad day.

Im not happy. I downloaded am paid gor this add on amd it said mist have free version of the note everything. There is none. Theres one app that says Note everything but has a different icon . so I downloaded it and still says it. Wheres the free version? Im trying to back up from my sd card but the app is gone from my old phone even though backed up and impossible to find!! Fix it!

Still a great app. I read that some people have had issues finding the software. I transferred all my apps from a previous device so I didn't have any issues. I read that this can also be found on the developer website.

Like the app and all the options but on my Samsung S4 the select word does not work. It will select all but not a single word except the first word on the page. This makes this app a bit useless for my usage. Worked like charm on my Toshiba T300 but does not work on the Samsung S4 with Android 8.1
