This is a good little quick reminder & is especially good for those of us who like to cross things off a list, LOL. The only issue that I have is that when you put an entry in & it's longer than the screen, it truncates it, which would be fine if you could pull it up & look at it, but you can't. All you can do when you click on it is check it off your list or check it back on. You can, however, send it to your messaging service or email and it will print the entirety of your entries.
I love this app!! It is very easy to use. I can use it everywhere for anything from reminders, to do lists, quick notes when you are learning at meetings, conferences or viewing videos, etc...the different ways this app comes in handy is endless. It is My favorite grocery list maker. After I pick up each item, I simply "x" it off the list and resave.
A pretty nice app resembling some older Memo type apps. Deny permissions at the beginning, and select the "don't ask again" option (you may need to close and reopen once after denying the first time to see that option). It has an auto save feature, a nice organized list, and this app's idea of "contains ads" means that you'll see just one ad bar in the title list below your notes. If you create a lot of them, maybe more ad bars will appear, but the main idea of this statement is...no popups!
Just getting started using the app and it's intuitive and quick to use (being a notepad, that should be expected). I have one major gripe that may just be me missing something, but I'm creating a permanent checklist and need to be able to insert/move items as they come to mind. To my knowledge, that isn't available in this app. Please let me know if I'm mistaken.
This showed up as recommended in my news feed so I thought I'd give it a try. Was never really able to try it though because it goes through a 3-step setup every time I load the app, asking for access to phone calls, access to my contacts, and then dead-ends at enabling some quick action feature with no option not to enable it or proceed to use it. Re: Dev comment, users should be able to disable this rather intrusive "feature." Your app asks for the perms every time it's run unless allowed.
This app is misleadingly named. It is not just for notes, but for notes about telephone calls. It works, but intrusively wants to handle mail and phone, unlike Notepad in Windows. It is not a full-scale text editor for Mobile devices. Thanks to the developer for explaining all this to me.
I just wanted to save a paragraph of text in a note. Why do you need my contacts? Why does this app need to make phone calls? It's difficult to use and hard to navigate. The UI is confusing and seems slightly...broken? I don't like rating apps, but this just kinda bothered me. I think I'll just find a different notes app, this bloated paywall ridden garage is nothing but a waste of space.
I like the list and the ability to make lists, so I paid the fee to make it ad free. Now when I make a phone call, I get a lot of pop up on the screen telling me the call length and other useless information. When I hang up, I'm left with a screen full of junk including a half screen ad. This is a pain to deal with. I am not happy. No matter how good the list is, I don't want the other junk. And I don't need ads when I paid for "NO ADS"!
The best free notepad you can get! I have tried to get at least 7 different notepads and this one is the best you can get. It looks good, it functions great, and its awesome imo. The other free notepads are lacking functionality while giving you a very basic page to work with. I really like it.
Don't like that this app asks when I open it, to sync all calls everytime, regardless of how many times I deny that feature. Other than that, fully functional, smooth-running and very straightforward and easy-to-use application.
When i transferred everything from my s10e to s22 the notepad files didn't transfered. I did copy everything on my phone to my desktop and also pulled from the backup of my old phone. I also did the sync between the 2 phones. No files and i had important information in those files. I cannot find the directory where these files would be stored. I wouldn't recommend this application.
DIDN'T BACK UP MY NOTES! My phone died on me unexpectedly last week. While getting all my stuff back I realized this app did not back up ANY of my notes. I had lists of stuff I wanted to remember, places to visit, book ideas to write, nightmares and dreams I've had, important information reminders for me, and so much more all gone. When it says saved it's only saved as long as your phone is good. My other notepad which had my reselling business info saved everything I've ever added!
This is such an easy, very user friendly app for anyone with busy life and/or have many things to do, and cannot easily remember all those things. This app takes all those things to do and digitally lists those things to do all in one place. It would be good for on-the-go, especially if you do not have a pencil and paper with you.
This is a very helpful app. It has taken me my whole life (up until I met my fiance) that I need to take notes. I had this whole attitude that only forgetful people need to take notes. Well, it turns out that taking notes is one of the smartest things you can do for yourself. It helps me remember all of the things I forget to do and also helps me plan out my day more efficiently. This app also is PERFECT for me to write poetry and music. This app gets TEN STARS all the way around!! Thank you.
So I can't find my last review & I think it got deleted, but generally speaking this is not a good ap. It keeps asking to access my contacts, even though I really don't need it for that and I have a perfectly good caller ID already installed. The ads are also super annoying and just unprofessional. I get if they come up on entertainment apps, it's annoying but I get it, but I need an app that let's me focus on sorting out my notes and get work done, not try to distract me with pop-ups.
All I wanted was a text document to write and store small notes. Perhaps this app is nice for others but it is ridiculously over the top for me. The amount of permissions asked for are ridiculous. There being required permissions (besides storage) is ridiculous. I just want to write text to come back and view later...
Easy download and very intuitive. Clean simple interface. Could I suggest some way of altering the order of items on the checklist, if if its just a simple "invert list" option. Apologies if it's there and Iver overlooked it!
I truly dont know how I lived without this app for as long as I did. It's there in a click, access it on all your devices and it's impossible to loose, literally. I'm just that type that will write a list with good intentions but end up loosing it.
Simple, wants alot of permissions but none are required(edit) however it will ask you to let it display over other apps everytime you open it and thats super annoying and might be a deal breaker for me. it is almost 4 dollars to go ad free which 🤷 idk it's cheaper than gas I guess but all in all it's a not the worst at 3/5 lowered from 4/5 because of the insistence to display over other apps.
I love this app, I can practice writting novels ideas and read over them to make sure that their perfect or some what good. And I could also share my ideas or notes with someone else to make sure that it's good or if it's right. :]
Thank you so much for creating the notepad app it is very adjustable and accommodating in my lifestyle teach me from having to pull out my pad in My Pen, I can just pull out tap on my phone and there it is open up my note and make a note when you're driving, this app is 👍🏽 awesome, really that note can wait till u pull over. Just great 😀 app THANK YOU 🥰❣️🙏🏽
It's super useful, Has ads that I dont even notice, it's super nostalgic just by its coloring and the sights. I use it mostly everyday when I need it. You can freaking save your notes which most apps can't even do. This is the best notepad app.
Good app, but the permissions requested are annoying. I didn't need a "notes" app to access calls for caller ID. There should be an option to disable the constant requests for other permissions. It is also deceiving to get charged for the app before downloading only to get charged a second time to stop the ads. Just put the whole cost up front.
