Notepad+

Its only viewing a full blank page No editing option. I was so dissapointed..

Hi, this is the best txt editor for text, code etc on android. Please also add a feature for READER MODE: so keyboard does not come up when pressing text screen. I swipe up for next page to read long txt files & keyboard often comes up. Then it becomes the best txt reader. I have set to black background for reading in bed. If you can add the READER Mode switch to first button toolbar, it will be even better. Thanks.

It does what is required and also gives plenty of options. I tried a few others but they show one thing and save something else. This app gets text encoding right while most don't.

Of course language specific syntax and auto complete would be nice, but if you don't know the language....stick to a computer. Would give it 5 stars if finding the setting for changing screen rotation took less searching.

I have already tried a dozen of them, and this one is just perfect. Do not waist time any more searching an excellent plain text editor.

This is one of those rare simple text apps that recognizes and allows you to set encoding parameters. So that when you open your notes on a computer, it doesn't look like a wall of text without breaks, spaces or paragraphs.

But when I tried to find and replace something with a really long string, the OK button went offscreen and disappeared. Last update was in 2011, so I suppose this won't get fixed...

You can't save. I wrote a song and after i tried to save it wouldn't let me and now its gone

I'm beginning to wonder if the developer fell off the face of the earth you really need to update this application to keep up with the basic guidelines of Android that are out today as this is the only notepad that I have found that lets you save the file as a text file just like you would on Windows that's the whole reason why I use it so that I can go back & 4th PC2PHONE!!!!!

Top class, opens Notepad++ files and lets you edit them, really nice for configs on the go, just works!! Thanks guys.

Just finished writing up a essay. It wouldn't let me save it at first, but then it deleted it. I'm VERY dissapionted ! Don't download! Its a waste of time! Uninstalled.

I NEED to be able to save to /storage PLEASE UPDATE!!

Can create/edit/delete notes like one would expect from the name.

The only notepad app on google that has a save/save as feature.

But then I found a way to save a file. Great

Would be a great app if it didn't force close every time I tried saving a note.

Wonderful, if you can do more work on interface, it will be much better, like recent file and auto encoding
