I've had this app for 3 yrs & it is GREAT, a Godsend- simple to use, 12 sep. folders- I had a long list from multiple folders and was able to re-import it all to a new phone- so easy- I had tried another notepad for a short time when this app didn't transfer to a new phone ( not the apps fault- diff mftr) the other person's app made copies of lists that were impossible to find and would not send all folders at once- really bad- developer of this app very helpful & prompt if you have any problems

This is a great app. It automaticly saves the notes. It worked fine on my tablet despite the warning that it wasn't optimized for the device. It gives you a range of color themes. Best of all, it is ad free and requires ZERO permissions. The top rated notepads that I clicked on first wanted access to just about everything. This one only allows you to save 12 notes on the free version, but there's a reasonably priced pro version if you need more.

Nice little app. It's simple and easy to use. It's a pretty small app, not requiring a bunch of app permissions. You can save and send your notes to yourself or to someone else. You can get reminders to send your notes so they stay backed up, I believe through email mainly. It's a great, handy little app to try out. Thank you!

Great little notepad, easy to use. I keep it on my home screen for making reminders and lists. I also use it for taking notes and rough drafting things for later copy and paste into web forms while retaining a copy, including help desk chat conversations and product reviews. Like the customizable options on resizing font and changing the theme colors. Would be nice to have more color choices like rainbow but for a free app it's great.

This is a great little note-taking app! Highly recommended! It's perfect for keeping a few lists on your phone. Unlike most other apps, it is just a simple light-weight note app with no bloatware. If you prefer something complicated with lots of unused features, then go to Google. But if you want something simple that works, then this is the app for you! This is how apps are supposed to be!

Easy to add lists and send them for storage elsewhere. I haven't found a way to save the info on these lists. Way too easy to overwrite work already done. I don't like that. When I was young, my note pad required effort to overwrite. I usually just dropped it and it broke. I'd pick up a new rock and start chiseling a new note.

This thing is adorable - so glad I clicked the slightly weird icon. Turns out I'd had it on phone before some kind of oops; my messages were still in phone.▪App file is tiny; features are sweet (if you want more, don't ask for change; buy the Pro or go elsewhere). Function with so little fuss, and so little extra impact on phone memory, are a great favor. Thank you to the developer for the benefit of your clever work!

It is the best simple notes editor. It was a little tricky to find out how to clear the redo and undo lists(Privacy related). And when you select backup, it backups and also sends to gmail, which is good but causes confusions. The confusion was my first thought was that it did not save to phone data but sent to gmail. It would be better if developers explain it on help notes. A shortcoming is that it cannot save note as txt file in phone's download folder.

Does the job without ads. Not sure I'd trust it for anything important, because it doesn't seem to back things up automatically, and there's no confirmation for deleting notes, so be careful. But if you just want something for the shopping list or to jot down ideas on the loo, this'll do fine.

I use it all the time. Auto-saves notes on exit. The easy backup of all notes to email in ASCII format is ideal. Buttons at top of page are so handy. No glitches. Highly recommended; its strength is in its reliability and sharing features, but mostly, its simplicity.

It worked okay. Then, out of the blue it merged all of my different lists into one. When it did that over half of my entries disappeared. I could not find any way of getting them back. So, uninstall it is.

This is a great notepad app. I've been using it for over 2 years and have never had a problem. It does exactly what a notepad should do and more. In very impressed with this app. Thank you for thinking of all the reasons it would be needed for and put them in this app.

I like the paid for version which I'm reviewing here I think and also like the non-paid-for version, I like it even better, but the paid for version has a much larger capacity for notes and it's pretty convenient. This notepad application, both versions, are superior for practical use to many of the others. There's absolutely no reason you shouldn't use them or try them at least. I use the free version all the time because it's just got a better feel to it, and I use the paid for version too.

Love it! Simple, organized lists without a lot of unnecessary junk. I highly recommend this for quick or detailed notes, shopping lists, thoughts or ideas. I also use it to copy & paste text from web pages instead of screenshots. Quick and easy!

Thumbs up. Basic, simple, lightweight, effective. No ads, no permissions. Too many other apps have unnecessary features that are seldom used. Needless bells and whistles. This one keeps it simple but functional!

Would be perfect if I could open text files, and have access to my note to sync them automatically, rather than them being stuck inside the app on one device. (Yes, I can export them, but I can't keep them synced.)

first impression is great; very nice with no ads. If I could have one suggestion that would be to recognized when a bulleted list is started and auto format on carriage return to continue the list, kind of like MS Outlook. this way I wouldn't need extra clicks for a bullet

A simple easy to use app. Good features. Well put together, a must for everyday reminders. Ten out of ten excellent options. Suits my needs perfectly. Highly recommended for young and old alike. Please keep this app available, but modify if you must. Thanks Dave Lawson

They don't tell you there is only room for 12 notes with this version and it takes up 200 kb, not 63 kb. If you want more room for more notes, you have to buy the premium edition. In spite of the message from the developer, the app is still too confusing to me. I want something simple, easy to use and understand. I found what I need. Thanks.

I really like this app for its size, lack of permissions, and resultant feeling of privacy and security. It works well with the exception of the inability to insert an image into a note. If I could do that, it would be perfect. Even so, the app is so good that I'm still using it without that feature.

small app that does what it says it does. rare these days. good for adding things on the fly because there isnt a save prompt. it just saves your new or revised note. 12 different categories one of these days im going to get organizized, thanks to this app and its developers.

This is the best Notepad I have ever had. It's patterns are simple, yet accurate and easy to follow. It's twelve files lets me know right away where all my writings are. I certainly would recommend this wonderful tool to anyone interested in accuracy and low memory space consumption.✌️🙂👍

worked reasonably well when I first installed it. I used it occasionally. Then one day I could no longer back up. I have tried many things including reinstalling the app but no success. Selecting backup just shuts it down.

If you read my previous review please disregard it. I received another response about exiting out of the setgi vs page. Apparently on the Samsung J7 you have to use the button directly on the phone to the left of the home button rather than anything on the screen. That I formation solved my problem.

just d/l this app. I love simple apps that just do what they are meant to do without wanting access to my whole phone or show apps on 1/2 of usable screen... looks awesome already. if not buggy and can move to mem card it will be perfect. :)

I don't know what happened. I made a shopping list yesterday, went to the store today and all of my notes, memos and 2 short stories I was working on were gone. Google play shows it was updated on 11-20- 2018. I won't be using this app anymore.

One of the most useful apps I have found Would be nice if a few more notes were available. It says you can put multiple notes in each of the 12 slots you're given. I hope this is true. But it doesn't show you how to do this anywhere in the help section. It also says you can use different colors and themes but that doesn't seem to be allowed either. Are these premium functions only? Or do they need to provide clearer usage instructions?

I have used this app for more than a year. It is perfect for making quick notes that are easily saved and accessed. It starts up quickly, so it is easy to make a quick note without impacting my work flow. Thanks, developers.

I just installed it and I really like it. Great job Devs. Not only does it NOT have any uneccessary permissions it doesn't have any. And the Notepad itself is exactly what I need. It is very easy to use and it is very organized. there are many things I could say about this great little app but I will stop now and let you find out for yourselves. Thanks so much DEVs. Very well thought out. And yes to all the optional questions. I'll let you know later if it remains the same.
