Notepad Free

There is nothing to complain about this app. (Very unusual situation...). V1.15.0, Feb 1st, 2021: Improved !!! This app IS perfect. It does not have some luxury features like sync between devices, coloring categories, easy transfers between text and backups (a techy man can do it, after all) etc. Not needed. All the really needed stuff is there and working: sort, show 1 category, search, backup & resore etc. You can always add features, but it makes app bigger & harder to maintain. Thanks !!

Excellent app! I've been through two S21 full system crashes. Even with the help of the Verizon store I was unable to get anything off the phones. This is my third S21 in 8 months and low and behold this app with all my notes survived again!! I'd pay the price to upgrade if I could, just to express my thanks, but I can't find the upgrade button. So, how about a sixth star!!

I've tried numerous notepad apps and this is currently my favorite by far. Can it be improved? Sure it can. But those looking for a simple note and done app would be hard pressed to find an easier one than this. From what I've read the dev plans on addressing future wants in updates. Awesome! For me personally, adding color to text and being able to alphabetize the categories list would be the cherry on top! But other than those two items, this is a solid 4.5 outta 5! Great work dev!

Great app! Very user friendly and minimalistic-which I like. I wish I'd thought to look into its settings more than I did (or, at all). If I had, I would've seen the handy import/export feature-would've been super helpful in backing up notes before upgrading my phone. Instead, they weren't exported/backed up and I lost important stuff. My own fault, but if I had known about that awesome feature, I would still have those important notes. Now you know about it and can learn from my mistake.

Simple, quick, ad free, fuss free. Dates each note and easily catagorised. I've not seen any ads. I was looking for an app that would allow me to write a list with each entry automatically dated, and settled on this. With this app, each entry on my 'list' is a separate note heading. I'm self employed and use it to quickly note the payment received by each client before adding it to my book keeping app at a later point. It's been super useful and just what I needed.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This app is great, never have any issues with it. They do give you the option to put the note in a certain folder category you customize. But my one suggestion is that when you first open the app ann your notes display and they won't let you just fix it to where you want to just show the folders on the first page. So that way you can just choose what folder you want to look in instead of thumbing thru all the notes that are in different categories.

Great app. I keep a lot of notes on it. Very useful and no glitches. The version I uploaded to my new phone has ads. I can turn them off for 7 days and after the 7 days I can turn them off again for another 7 days. I don't know if this option is continuous but they are not intrusive. The notes are great.

I use the top of the notepad, but unfortunately, it keeps auto scrolling down to the bottom after a short period of time. Very annoying. Other than that, it's a great app. EDIT: The creator added something in the help section a few days after seeing this review and fixed the problem even though it was Samsung's fault. 100% best note app.

This is the best app I've come across to save quick notes. It's fast and never crashes. I've never lost any info and it's so easy to use and so convenient for me when I shop or anyone owes me money or I need a list or product prices I keep for comparables. It's a great little app all around. You can even title each note and edit each one or delete quickly. I'm in love with it I couldn't function without it. It's a life saver 5 stars for sure!

FINALLY, I found this simple to use, but thorough notepad, & it's exactly what I was looking for! Many of the other notepads on the Google play store, are hideously complex. If I wanted a notepad to act like "Word," then I would use Word! The help section explains just about any issue & instructions that anyone could think of, & tech support is the very FIRST that responds to ALL emails, & on the same day no less! There are new functions being added with every update! Thank you!

This app is awesome. It's easy to use; the creator and support system is current and informational; my favorite utility is the auto-save feature anytime you go to different sections of your notes or exit out entirely. I have been using this app for years and I have never lost any information. I keep everything on here and its UI is very easy to understand.

I use it all the time. Couldn't work without it. Good design, clear interface to write and edit long messages easier that other apps. Just what the doctor ordered! Current version seems very logical and well thought out. Bravo! And many thanks for the updates. Its great. I use it every day. Could not function without it! Very good app for record keeping. Simple and easier to use. Though I have a challenge on how to remove the password after you set it up. How do you remove or deactivate the password? I would really love to see this app have formatting settings where you can change the text appearance (Bold, Underline, Italics, Text colour and the ability to allow the keyboard to predict text) Please add those features for me and other users. I love this app😍✅❤️🇿🇲👌

Excellent app. Simple, convenient to use. A major plus is that it's not tied to schedules or calendars or online profiles, which make other notepads over-complicated and time-consuming to set up. Perfect for everything from shopping lists to life goals. And no ads! Fully recommended.

I was reading some of the other reviews, about ad complaints lol. A man has to generate revenue somehow! And I would rather a little ad then the app costing money. Anyway, nice app! Very clean looking and simple, yet useful. So far no bugs or glitches. Im content! And it's pretty cool that you can even have categories.

This is the best notepad app I've ever used. Great support too. My only ask would be for a way to just make a one time payment instead of watchging a video to turn off ads for 10 days. Ads are not invasive, just a small banner ad, and I want to support the programmer, I'd just rather pay a few bucks rather then mess with it.

I love this app, and even with my complaint I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a rare occurrence that this happens. I upgraded my phone from a Galaxy S10 to a Galaxy S22. There's only a 3 yr difference between these phones but as I was transferring to my new device I was assured everything moved over (shame on me for not double checking) and I kept important notes on this little app. I like the widget and very user friendly but none of the notes transferred to my new device! I lost all my notes!

Handy scratchpad cespecially when disconnected. I prefer to type or dictate here before moving my notes to something permanent like Google Drive. It offers search and is easy to paste plain text as I leave formatting to a different context. I have tried Docs and Word and others for my notes but too often my text gets lost or jumbled. Here I just collect text by typing, voice, or paste and after edit move it to my desired context. Notepad has never failed me in at least five years.

Extremely easy to use and more than enough space to write notes. Excellent compared to all the other apps. I got another phone and the first thing I did was get this notepad and now I'm a happy camper two phones to notepads this is the best this is my second review if I could get three pads for phone I would, but I am not allowed but to me without this notepad I would have trouble looking at a bunch of little papers because I am a note keeper. The word for this pad, my word is PHENOMENAL.!!!

*Generally useful as memory prompt on pending matters * It's a place to drop passages to keep during reading so as to revisit them. I sometimes copy email messages from others or my own sent so as to avoid being repetitive . I like the refreshed style of these notes I've used for years + at 88 I depend on them as recall. The updating expanding usage is wonderful especially when able to move VIP stuff elsewhere at will (once I manage technique to do it.

note taking the 21st Century way, I have been using this Notepad for several years now, never lost anything except if I failed to make a backup, Android will not back this up to your gmail acct, you MUST make your backup locally then Save OFF the phone, I save locally everytime i make a Significant amount of changes, I backup off-phone right before a phone upgrade or wipe, there is a notepad that is Android approved but it is invasive. Good luck!

Has the necessary functions and is easy to use. This is a simple app for text only, no lists. Two things I'd really like to see: lists and a grid view with all boxes in the grid the same size. And some per note color options to help prioritize them.

Very convenient. Didn't have any good way of taking notes built in to my original phone and it allows easy saving and organising of notes so I also got this on my new phone and I still find it better than the build in system notes especially as I haven't encountered any ads at least not intrusive one's.

Wow! This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for! It is simple, powerful and easy to use! You can even backup/save your notes in "txt" format as well as import. I am very happy that I found it! The developer is amazing! No problems. Works better than expected!! I am using it for note taking, to do list, things to get/buy at the store, on and on.

This app is fantastic, from helping my life personally, to keeping random notes, to helping me even create story plans; I've had a truly great time using this app & couldn't recommend it anymore than I do now. The ability to look for words so I can fix some re-writes in my storys was recently added & made me glad I'm using this app as I just thought of that function the day before. Now when I make things I won't have to worry of releasing storys with confusing plots. Thank you!

This app is fantastic- simple to use- and wayyyy easier to navigate than some I'd sampled- Been using it for over 4 years- LOVE it- I can create "folders" which makes documents easy to find. I just wish they had a desktop version since i switch so much during the day between the 2 devices-- thanks
