Notepad JT
Important: In this application you will not automatically find a notes from the previous version of the application.
To manually export notes from old Notepad JW app:
1. Select given notes by long right click on one and short click on rest.
2. Click the Share button and select Google Drive as a destination.
To import notes to new Notepad JT app:
1. Download your notes from Google Drive and place them on your device in the folder: Documents/Notepad JW.
2. In the application click three dots in the corner and select Import notes option.
Why use Notepad JT?
This application was created, because no other app was found, which would be able to show verses in the real time while editing some note. So it is useful for making notes during meetings and congresses - you don't need anymore to switch applications or search paper Bible to see the verse text, it is displayed in the same window as editor. As this application is able to show all verses under links in view mode, it could be also used for speeches at the podium and other tasks during meetings. This app also has sharing option, so you can also use it for making notes during ministry and send them to other preachers.
Abilities
This application consists of two activities:
File Manager and Notepad Editor. In File Manager you can create new notes, open them and create new folders. You can select items by long-click and then: rename, delete, send, cut, copy and paste. In Notepad Editor you can switch between Edit Mode and View Mode. In the first one, last entered verse will be displayed and in the second one you can click on links created from verses to see selected one.
Notes are saved in external storage under html files. You can access them from our PC. It means that you can rename them, delete, move or add new html or txt files from your computer. You can also open txt and html files from other app on your device, like from file explorers, email attachments, bluetooth files etc. You can import them to NotepadJW workspace by clicking Save button (they will be copied to Downloads folder).

Sometimes you can't risk your Library spinning on you since it is a huge app. This one does well as a lightweight alternative when you are only in need of the scriptures, such as while giving a talk.
l have loved this app from the time I first discovered it. I love taking notes and the ability to record a scripture siting the book/chapter/verse and it pull it up and save it as a link like our other publications. It's been great for meetings and personal study. I'm also pleased that I can now back up my notes. I would love to give this app 5 stars, but I'm having a problem with the Notepad saving my notes. I spent the morning doing personal study and my notes have disappeared 3 times. 🙁
It takes some time to experiment to see just how hand writting works especially when putting in scripture. Some times the chapter of the Book will not have a gap between it and the book name when happens this the text does not show up in the scripture box. I was very impressed with how well the app recognises. my messy hand writting. This is going to make taking notes and looking up texts very easy THANK you for job well done
My favorite Bible note-taking app by far. I love how seamlessly scriptures I type are incorporated into my notes immediately upon typing, and then easily read by links whenever I want to review my notes later. It really helps keep things fresh. It's also not hard to keep notes organized. Finally I appreciate the addition of the programs for assemblies and conventions so I can type my notes right into the program itself.
I really like this program. Easy to take notes in the assembly program. I just finished my Circuit Assembly Branch Rep. Took beautiful notes. Great Assembly. Saw that the program name had changed and said update. I took update and all my notes were gone. Not a happy camper. Notes are always there before. There is not save feature with the program. Are notes retreaviable?
Simple easy program to use to take notes. Used it for the first time this summer convention. Will continue to use from now on! Love the scriptures pop up when typed in, saves having to switch to a different screen to look up the scripture. Only suggestion I have to make it alittle clearer how to find new assembly programs. Eventually figured it out but could have been clearer. Thanks!
I simply love this app!! It's the one I use for all my note-taking for both my weekly meetings and Conventions. Being able to type and read the scripture as I type is a beautiful feature. Thank you so much for this app. When will you be uploading the 2019 Regional Convention program. I will be simply lost without it. I have become completely attached to this app. Thanks once again.
It really good notes app that can show the scriptures. But, for the Bible can you add other languages like the Indonesian and Chinese? Also, if you can add features like Bold font and highlighter, this will be very helpful.
Can't this app have any other bible translation than New World Translation? No translation may be perfect. Let us get more translations and get right perpective of the scripture and avoid sentimental attachment to one translation. This bible notepad app is perfect, except that it is only one-side-view bible translation. Let the developer do something about it. We pray that he comes out of the suspention fast in Jesus' name. The best note taking app during meetings and assemblies. Thank you so much for this. It's so easy to take notes and keep up with scriptures. Was having trouble taking notes because I take 3 nephews (ages 2-6) with me, but this app has helped to pay more attention and take effective notes. Thank you! Brothers and sisters are impressed when I share this app with them.
I love this app. It has been so useful. Unfortunately I cannot find the 2021 regional convention notepad in it. Do I need to do something to have it? Love how the scriptures pop up to copy & paste! Seamless, works every time. The only drawback that could cause me to uninstall is not being able to sync with my other mobile devices.

Excellent notepad Used your app for sometime now and love it. I have recommend Notepad to many brothers and sisters and all have enjoyed using it as I have. Brilliantly simple. An improvement if user could enter into note directly without having to activate via "pencil". A tad clumsy. Well done on your app.
I absolutely love this app and have been using it for a few years now. Typing in the scripture with it appearing up the top is just awesome, while taking notes. Thankyou for this provision it is just brilliant. And I love the simplicity of this app....
Great app to have! My suggestion is to import notes from another program so that the notes can be seen using your program and the other app can be deleted.
This app is excellent. I attempted to buy you coffee but Pay Pal is requesting the security code of my visa card. That code is what it says "Security", my and the bank security. The bank instructed me to give this code to no one. I bought numerous items through Amazon and not once did they ever ask me for my security code. I'm so sorry.

Excellent Key Features. The only major problem is that there's no way to back up your notes to the cloud. If you lose your device, you lose everything!

This app won't download. I have an older version Notepad JW. I don't want to delete that version in fear i will lose all my notes. Can these two be linked or why can't Notepad JW just update to Notepad JT? I have a Galaxy TabS2

In convention one days notes disappear. whole days effort just pressing undo button once. I'm very much sad because the notes are really valuable.
The only thing stopping me from using this is it always opens my notes from the very beginning, quite often I need to close my notes in a certain place and then when I re-open my notes I need to open them from where I left off. Thanks.
