This app provided no exposition regarding how music notation works. Also, it provides 7 "piano keys" labeled C - B ; however, the notation moves into leger lines, which means that when the notes move off the staff, you often have to go in the opposite direction; Ex: the 2nd line below the staff moves down, yet to identify it by letter name, you often have to go "up" on the piano keys. 3 added lines are always shown, even for middle C, which is WRONG. I bailed on level 2.
if you're a musician or just a person interested in working on their note, keyboard coordination this is definitely the app for you. It's no- nonsense to the point graphics and increasing levels are a music teacher's homework dream. It's highly recommended,, provided you have a good but slow grasp of staff names and keyboard note positions. >This app tested vigorously and to several levels ( it was kinda fun) by the //PricĂl Love Project//.
Very helpful! I love learning with this app. One thing I'd love would be an optional violin string schematic instead of a guitar string schematic in level 4 and the following levels (it is a guitar, right?).
Great until level 10. Regularly 'picks up' sound that isn't there, even when all strings are muted. Difficult to advance beyond that level because of this.
Really like the app and how simple it is, but I just got to the guitar level (the main point for me) and I cannot seem to be able to change it so that it shows the notes for those of us left handed. Is this possible??
only thing do improve is a better feedback when you get something wrong : show your wrong answer in sed and good answer in green, also show on the right side all note names like for level 0 and wait for user input to continue !
My only criticism is that the 'proceed to next level' box obscures your score of the level just completed. I like the multi-note levels.
great app for learning music notation. hope for more improvements, wish there's a sound of the note while pressing the key, it will help us memorize the notes.
This interface and gamification it's 100% what I'm looking for. Unfortunately (for me) I'm looking for Bass Clef (and fretboard). Any chance of that in the future?
Nice simple training app! Good progression between stages to help you learn quick. Great for guitarists!
I quite like it but the 'wrong' message is really annoying as it doesn't tell me what I got wrong. Often I'm pretty sure I wasn't wrong, but it's hard to tell
This offers very useful practice of reading music.
I'm only at level 3 but it brought me so far from practically no knowledge to recognizing the basics
so far so good. the interface is a little inconsistent.
excellent for beginners to advance training.
This new version have features which could help in improving your learning.
There's no explanation on wot to do at 0 level. Removing this colossal waste of time
Sharp precise and perfect training!!!
shows notes but doesn't hear notes
good for practicing. Thanks
I think it was using my phone for cryptocurrency mining
did not help me read music
excellent. Thanks
The app was working perfectly fine until I bought the full version, and i got to the levels where you have to play two notes at once. I don't even play anything, and the app automatically says wrong, and moves on. Many times I play the right notes, but the app registers them as wrong ones. Please update the app, it's highly inconvenient right now.
Simple and effective
It's
Best app I have come across for sight reading on guitar, but on level 10 seems to have difficulty picking up open D string. Could be an issue with my device microphone or guitar. Still I have learned more in 5 days with this app that I did in years going through "tunes" using tab, so it really is the best app for guitar sight reading. Thank you for coding this app.
Great great app but on level 11 doesnt recognize low a :( can you fix those and all other note recognition problems?
Effective way to memorize the fretboard.
Ready helpful app! I've gotten to level 9 and I feel much more confident sight reading now. However, there is no explanation for anything. You're going to have to learn some basic music theory on your own if you want to fully understand, especially once it gets to the guitar fret learning section
