Looks great! The best widget and multi to do do list out there. Tons of backup options. Fully customizable. It is the best. I tried Evernote.... No thanks. Evernote is completely freeform and not what I want. This syncs across all my devices and is infinitely expandable in terms of numbers of lists. Here's an idea: aside from your regular lists, keep a list of "when I retire". Any time something pops into your mind that you want to learn or do, but have no time, put it in that list.
I've used this app for many years for all sorts of lists for daily use. I really like UI, I find it to be mostly intuitive. My only problem had my own user error when it comes to recovering backup files. Every time I've had to change a replacement phone I'm messed up getting my lists back. Most recently I accidentally overwrote the backup file with blank nothing, thus losing all my lists from my previous device. Other than that it's a great app.
This is exactly what I've been searching for, to replace my paper to-do lists. I paid for the "Basic". The personalization options make it possible to adapt the look and function to just what I need. The thing I appreciate most is that the list itself can be the main focus of the widget (the "title" can be minimized by reducing text size). I've tried numerous other to-do list apps but found them less useful because headings and borders and text spacing left little space for the actual list.
Does what it's supposed to do. The occasional advertisement when dragging things to rearrange lists can be annoying, but since it's not a constant or randomly occurring thing I don't really mind too much. Overall it's a good, free, well working app that is quite handy with ads that only seem to happen when you do one specific thing. Easy to use, very helpful, easily adjustable, custom sizeability, and the layout is pretty easy to understand. I'm happy with it.
I love this app! I've had it on all my phones since 2012. I bought the basic version so that I could access more features. I think it was around $0.99. I only had to pay once, in 2012, 3 phones ago. My favorite thing about this widget is the customization features. It's so versatile, and you can really make it yours. It looks great on my phone! I love how simple it is just handy, customizable lists that are right there, so you don't forget. In 7 yrs, it's never glitched or lost my notes. π
I love this app! Premium is totally worth it. After recently reading an article about how calendars can be more effective then to do lists this app combines the two into something awesome! With the reminder features, you can set up a dedicated time slot to complete your task. You can also repeat a reminder if something were to come up and you needed more time to begin! Great app for someone like me who forgets everything! Thank you so much for this!
Love this app and have it on multiple phones. One issue is that on one phone I have 2 options when writing a new note, "cells text" and "description'. However I do not see the "description" option on one of the phones. Both apps have been updated and all settings appear to be the same on both phones as well. If I cold enable this feature so that I can have bullet points for each note, that would push this app to 5 stars again for me. EDIT: Thanks for the assist and quick response. 5 stars!
My journey to here. First, I learned to value a To Do list. Second, with other apps, I learned to manually sort destinations/categories etc. by "touch/drag". I wondered, maybe there's an app where you can first "make" your To Do things, then "rearrange" them on the fly, without having to cut/paste or retype. Found it, here it is, yeahhh. Bottom line: Now I drag the activity I'm working on to the top, and it stays until I switch activities. Absolutely perfect, couldn't be happier.
This is an amazing app. I am very glad that I paid for the premium. It has many features that I constantly use. I especially enjoy the fact that I can coordinate with other people that pay (the required pittance) for the premium features. Personally, I can't wait to see what kind of improvements and customizations that the developer(s) might include in the next update
I had to take back my original review because none of the upgraded features work. It will allow you to add photos that you can't see (useless) and it will allow you to drag/reorder notes and when you tell it to save changes it doesn't save them. Save your money because upgraded features are worthless when they DO NOT WORK
I LOVE THIS APP.... I mean widget! I'm always using it. I have 2 widgets open but you don't really have to cause you just click on the arrows on top and it goes to all your notes. Plus you can add photos to your notes and drag them to where u want them to be. I use this widget for my interior decorating ideas for my place. I add photos to those ideas. And I drag them to what's more important to do first. Hope this is helpful info. Great work to the team who created this.
Update: picnic error! Took off the Alphabet option and the list is now by priority. Works just as I need. The list arranges itself. What I want as item 1 is now item 3 and dragging my line item to the first position and saving it doesn't work. Of course I paid for this app. When I used the basic before everything worked fine
Solid and simple list app/widget. Overall its quite good, and I use it every day. The individual note lines tend to be a bit small, which does often cause unintended selections. It can be annoying, but I also can't think of a better way to do it.
Perfect note taking app. Great for jotting weekend tasks or travel packing list. Easily add new items and check them off as they are completed. Keep in mind, when your Android phone pushes an update the widget may need to be set-up again to see your notes.
Other note taking apps need to really pay attention. This app is phenomenal! I have so much going on that I need notes and to have a widget I can put right on my home screen and check them off right from my home screen is just wonderful. Then it has so much customization. Amazing!
Excellent app. having been uninstalled and reinstalled after a year, restored all notes from backup storage without a hitch. Edit - just exported and loaded notes to new phone. Simple. Perfect. Simply the best. Update May 2021: still the best
this app has the best layout. but plz fix the widget freezing when i try to hit left or right to access another list. this has been happening since on my Samsung s5 s6 s7 and s9. fix this or im about to give up on you guys . the problem is so frustrating at work when i need my notes!!!!!
This app is really good.. It has clear or color widgets also can change text color my fav it has a check off list with line going across it. Alot of diff ways it can look. Only thing I hope it gets is fonts would like to be able to add fonts and maybe some more themes!!! πππ
Bought the upgraded version for $2. Was looking for a widget to do list that allowed me to easily move the order of items on the list. Finally found it with this. The customization is great as well.
I used to love this app but i donβt know why but it has stopped working on my mobile.. I can not add any note or edit.. Just looking like a showpiece on my desktop... What happened after the recent update??? Updated review after raising issue: I really appreciate the quick response of the developer which helped me solving the issue. I am also getting a pop up showing to enable autostart in mi products which makes the app working again Changing my rating to 4 star now.. Keeping one star reserved.
Excellent ToDo lists with easy back-up on Google Drive or in Dropbox. I keep separate lists for shopping, book clubs, travel, gift ideas, garden, etc. Best memo format I've ever used and I've tried a lot of them!
The "STAR rating" function no longer works on my phone. I loved That specific feature as it allowed me to immediately see the priority level of any note I made. Please help me get it back! This is what it does when I try to use it. A big STAR slides in and I can not select a smaller star.
The app is fine but there are ads every 5 seconds (a lot of them being highly inappropriate). It's hard to create even a single day's to-do list without getting interrupted by atleast 10 ads.
I'm always on the lookout for the better app, the better widget, and always come back to NoteToDo. I can put it on as the first screen I see when I open my phone, resize the screen to my liking, put up several screens on one page or have one NoteToDo page per screen, move things within a list, or from one list to another. There's even more it can do, and this is just the free version. For two bucks, it gets even better. I've been using NoteToDo for years and I highly recommend this widget.
