look, the app is a real mess. Everything from issues with the English phrases used to lack of critic features. I live in a large city and the motion sensor, even on low, goes off quite frequently. This, in and of itself, is not a problem. The real problem is the lack of grainularity in push or email notifications. The options are simply on or off. It would be great if I could enable notifications for doorbell rings but not for motion events... and i have to buy a resistor to deal with....

Can't stand the app or the video doorbell. The doorbell low-key buzzes all the time, unless I go into the app to pull up the live video to make it stop... But 75% of the time, it won't connect to allow you to see the live video, so you have to try 5 or more times in a row before you can view it. Also, after the doorbell is actually rung, the video will NEVER pull up until at least a minute later, by which point people are usually already gone, so what's the point of the talk feature? Not happy.

Horrible app and horrible doorbell. Get a refund asap on the doorbell and get a better one. Followed the steps, installed everything and it takes 3-4 rings before a notification appears. Then, unless you open the app and go to the events, you won't see who is at the door. Even then, it takes a few seconds to load and show actual live feed. Really terrible and it doesn't worth the effort to set it up, not to mention it does cost a pretty penny.

Disappointed. This is my second disappointed experience with video doorbells. You just can't delete like email. There is no audio notification. If you want or need video notification you have to buy into the premium plan. I would like to buy the hardware then be able to pick and chose for myself and download to my own equipment. There's too much to post, all I can say is do your resesrch.

Not a fan of this app. Got the doorbell physically set up without issue. Installed the app, and each time I try to pair the device to my wifi network through the app, the app crashes. EVERY. TIME. Using a Galaxy S7. Until the doorbell system is paired, I just have a wireless doorbell. At least that works. I'll change my rating if the app problem is fixed.

I like the app, it's not bad, its just slow to boot. I can never connect to my camera unless I'm in my house on WiFi. I get the notifications but I never get to see them unless I'm home, always says communication timeout. I can talk it the speaker just fine on the camera but it's horrible picking up what the other person is saying back. I'm about to get rid of this and get a Ring Doorbell.

App is completely unreliable. It doesn't work more often than it does. A push notification comes through then when you try to access it the app has crashed. update 2 weeks later: Probably the single worst app I've ever tried to use. To call it utterly useless is too high praise. It doesn't work at all.

Do NOT waste your money!!! Absolutely horrible product! Only one user is aloud to change settings, app freezes and there is about a 4 min delay for the notification to come through. I had no problems with my wifi until installing this app then I was constantly disconnected. Will be putting the old bell back on and throwing this away!

What a stupid app. Can't even get past registration because the form doesn't indicate what each field is for and when you type something in the field nothing shows up other than a red 'X'. Product instructions say to plug in the doorbell, connect phone to its WiFi network, then open app to be promoted to connect the doorbell to your home's WiFi...no such luck. Complete garbage.

Why is this so bad!? The device has been credentialed by another account" is the message I get when I try to connect it to the app. I assume this was a return to Lowes and now I have it. The previous owner didn't reset it when they had access to it. The app is so bare bones it doesn't give an option to reset it to the factory settings without being connected WHICH IS MY PROBLEM IN THE 1ST PLACE! My model is SL-3013-00. How can I fix this?

Just bought the doorbell, won't work, scratched all up when purchased. Can't get it to hook up. Have done everything, watched video, nothing. Now I can't even get on app, says either my email or password is work. Neither is. I always double ck. Cost $35. I guess u get what u pay for. Junk

Slow to connect. Very basic interface and switching pages. Allows you to mute it (do not disturb) although does not inform visitor... Device looses wifi connectivity often. No zoom features. Could not figure out fast forward or rewind if possible? Returned after 14 days when motion videos required subscription...

Product not working- worked for a few months, just stopped. Spending hours trying to reconnect with my internet. Xfinity wifi will not connect. Maybe I need to subscribe for service. Completed process too ambiguous. Product never mentioned a service fee. Going with Ring!

So far working... a few issues I have is 1) if there's night vision it's not working at all. no auto night vision or settings. 2) trying to add a viewer completely fails every time. 3) trying to set motion section zone does not work except once.

Fifteen minute install? What a joke! The ap crashes constantly. The camera works about one time after set up, then has to be dismounted, physically reinstalled, and the ap reinstalled as well. Hours of my life I won't get back. S9 users, beware and don't waste your time on this!

Very basic app but does what it's supposed to. I use it mainly for the wireless doorbell. I did have a couple of minor issues and the devs replied promptly with easy solutions. Everything works as it should. 5 stars for an improved GUI and instructions :)

Probably the worst app and doorbell ever. Total garbage. It never works. Never any features. The app is glitchy and the navigation, set up, and just the total unit is garage. Save yourself time and money and invest in a more expensive product.

The video freezes, the push to talk doesn't work, and when it notifies that someone one is there it was really moths. When called costumer service the lady was rude and making it sound like it was our fault that it was messing up and telling us to get the paid version and then it will work even though that's what we had. I would say definitely get the others like Nest or Ring because this isn't worth it.

Another victim here 🙋‍♀️ just bought this item but failed to check reviews beforehand. Very frustrating and now on my way back to Lowe's for a refund. Hooked up the doorbell and plugged in the device. Pretty basic. All good until you download the app then NOTHING works. Doorbell doesn't ring, app won't install on more than one device. Only alerts when it wants to. Thankfully, I didn't buy all the garbage this company sells for home security.

Doorbell system is horrible as you can only access its live feed only while you're in your home using the same wifi as the doorbell. You cannot access the live feed when you're away from your home. The app is so slow when accessing it

Horrible app! Can't even register, the boxes are empty so you have no idea what to put in. Once you do, it tells me that my email is already set up from almost 10 months ago when I became unbelievably frustrated! Tried to retrieve a password that they said I registered months ago and now my email is a failure. THIS IS A REAL JOKE! WOULD LOVE MY MONEY BACK! Wish I would have done my research, look at all the negative reviews!

The app it's a pain to use! The doorbell only notifies us when it wants to! The thing went 2 months without sending notifications to my phone and all of a sudden start to the other day.. I would love a refund!

The app would not accept the email address even though correct after the app sent and I received a notification to correct address. The tech support rep silently hung up after treating me like a moron and insisting that the email address was incorrect as if I didn't know my own email address. It didn't work. Tech support sucked.

The connection for the app is always messing up and I constantly have to sign in all the time just to look at my camera, and it takes so long just to load, I'm very disappointed with this product in general!

Not a good product at all. My new video doorbell doesn't work as good as my non video $5 doorbell I replaced. It took many attempts just to register the app and a day later still cant use it because it's stll updating firmware. I think i'll assume the loss of the cost and scrap it.

Purchased TWO doorbells! I opened one and the actual button does not work!😡 THEN when I opened the second one the doorbell wasnt even in the package and it was sealed!! I am VERY unhappy as I was looking forward to having a doorbell so I can a actually hear when a package arrives or company comes by! It also says 1yr warranty so If i cant get any help hear I will be contacting the company! Please fix this issue and I will change my rating!

So far it's working as i expected. I've only had it for less than 24 hours. The only complaint I have is adding my wife's email address so she can answer it as well as myself. The live video feed just started working but did inform me it was not "ready" or "available " yet. Well it works now. I'll write an updated comment in about a month.

so far its half baked junk. it barely worked once got a push notification unable to access it. was able to access my live feed one time now the app does absolutely nothing the doorbell doesn't even work. you would think they would at least get the doorbell portion right. being a doorbell company and all. don't waste your time and money about this on the Memorial Day today is Tuesday it's going back Wednesday.

Terrible. First the app kept crashing, then when I finally got it to load and configure the bell part, the pushbutton did nothing. Definitely NOT worth $60. STAY AWAY!
