- Android 4.4 or higher
- Car-Navigationsystem/Car-Radio which can be Bluetooth-Connected to your Mobilephone and can display Messages (Bluetooth-MAP Profile)
======================= H O W T O . . .=======================To get it all work, ensure the following options have been set:
- The App must be the Default-SMS-App
- The Access to Notification must be granted
- The Notifications from the Apps you like forwarded must be selected under "Allowed Apps"
Additional Informations:
- If you don't get any Notifications in the app, disable the option "Mark as Read" or additional enable the option "Delayed Mark-as-Read" (esp. for Samsung Devices)
- Most of the phones/navavigationsystems don't support the "Show Name instead of Number". If you get '(Unknown Contact)' or sth. in your Car, disable this option. Additional to this you can create a Dummy-User in your Contacts with a name like "Notification" and the number 0049 987 654 321

Lost Whitelist Apps since the update. For example Outlook is no longer in the whitelist. From the looks of it no app installed manually is included in the whitelist.
Been using it to forward notifications, SMS and WhatsApp messages to my car display for two years. Very happy. For Facebook Messenger, at one stage it sent the full message content but then after a few weeks it reverted to sending just a notification. How can I set it up to send full messages from Facebook Messenger?
How to pair a Bluetooth device with this app?the usual settings is only pairing but not connecting to my hc05 ,other apps have inbuilt connect option. Allready tried those steps,paired it at system level and then selected my Bluetooth device,the forwarding was still not working
Great so far but just can't get Whatsapp messages to forward via SMS, not included in the App's notifications settings menu. Doing something wrong?
After installing I started getting alot of spam via text. Now I have uninstalled and I am still getting spam. Wish I never touched this app.

This app tries to replace your default SMS app, not just forward notifications from your phone like it advertises.
I enjoy it..however it does from time to time block some text it should not..lol

[NEW] I am not exactly sure why this app requires me to change my default SMS app to this app in order to send notifications to my smart watch but because it asks for default sms app access, it cuts me out automaticly because I prefer Textra over any other texting app. And because of this I was not able to fully test this app. I did install it and find the GUI was nice but the colors could be better. If you have dark mode that is cool but a lot of people will get bored with the plain bright colors. Other than this, if you fix the fact it requires default sms app access, I may test it out and try it again.

You, sir, have made me a very happy man. I've been struggling with this issue on my E91 ever since I switched from Blackberry. Thank you, thank you, thank you, app works wonderful. I didn't try to reply to messages, the fact that I can read them is enough for me, it's not safe to fiddle with the phone while driving anyways. Is there a way to make a donation? Because I would happily do that, it would be totally deserved. Keep up the good work.
Converting WhatsApp (and other notifications) to SMS works as expected. Unfortunately many other features of QKSMS do not work or have bugs. For example, MMS does not work (my carrier is T-Mobile) - I was unable to send group messages. Yappy integration does not work. Often when switching from an SMS thread back to the conversion list, it is blank and the only way to get the app working again is to close and reopen. Honestly I really wanted this app to work - getting WhatsApp messages in my car was fantastic. But all the other problems with day to day texting was just not worth it. I've switched back to Chomp.
Does not support multi SIM phones (my Moto Z Play is dual SIM), so I can't switch to this app to be the default :(, I had high hopes to get MAP support for my phone :(
Allows me to RECEIVE WhatsApp messages on my BMW iDrive system, however if I reply the replies are via SMS. Is this normal behaviour? Have I configured it wrongly? I was hoping to receive and send WhatsApp messages I'm the car.
If you use bmw office then you need this for whatsapp message forwarding. great
Very Impressive
Loved this app until the recent update. Now it doesn't work and doesn't show up on list of apps that can be whitelisted. Spent all afternoon trying to fix. No luck. Very frustrating 😕
