Notifications for Fire TV
Important: You need to install the app 'Notifications for Fire TV' on your Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV stick:
- Go to apps and select category 'Productivity' to find it on the Fire TV, then install and start the appor
- Open the Amazon website and search for the app 'Notifications for Fire TV', get the app, on the Fire TV choose settings, my account and synchronize. Then the app should appear within your favorite apps. Install and start the app to continue.
• Immediate forwarding of your notifications to your Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV stick
• Browse through notification details on the TV screen including application logo and notification images
• App specific settings including privacy mode

Was a pretty good app. But with all the "premium version" messages, it's become more annoying than helpful, especially since those notifications display 3 times longer than those you want to see. Was just beginning to enjoy it too. Bummer.
Updated review: FAQ instructions work perfectly to fix the null caller issue. Works as expected. I am using this app with my father who has hearing problems, so he can see when someone calls or texts. As far as ads in the app, I do get that the author wants us to purchase the app, but it was hard to dismiss all the ad popups to even use the app and that may put off some people. Maybe give a short trial period. I am purchasing the app as it works for my purposes. Thank you much!
Worked good, seems a firetv update broke something. Firetv keeps killing the process in the background. so it's not working as it used to. hope it gets updated soon. wife needs this feature.
App is working but when a call comes through its not giving me the caller's id, it says null, this by the way is when all apps are ticked to allow notification and also in the paid version. I don't want all apps to send notifications but when I stop all apps I no longer receive text messages, which apps\app do I choose for text messages and calls only and is it possible to get the caller's id? Thanks
Great App does what it's supposed to, and it very customizable,you can change the color of the Notification Box, plus the size of the font. It's really nice connected to phone for caller ID, reminds me of my old DTV days and an RCA Box that had caller ID right on my TV.
Could have been a great app. My issue is that it says "incoming call from null" when I receive phone calls. This defeats the whole purpose for buying this app. It can't show the phone number of the incoming call and there is no way to get it to just say "incoming call". Is someone testing this app? It makes no sense to me. I'm using a Galaxy S10.
App works great. I haven't purchased the full version yet. But I plan to this works great for my fire stick.
Great app. Altho, it really needs the ability to filter notifications by app (like watches have).
It says install the app on your fire TV when I have it already installed. I also entered my fire TVs IP mannualy. So I'm not doing anything wrong

Bought To Receive Sound Also On FireTV As to Free Version Sound would Stop after several messages. Now After Buying Full Version It Remains The Same...After Several Messages No Sound !!! ???
Great app except ,,phone calls incoming say null.but missed call says contact info Text messages show contact info on incomiming which is great
Very solid app. I'm going to expand use to capture Smartthing notifications.
Actually I have not used it in years! As I recall it was the only one that worked! I don't have all the details yet. It still works! Even better!

Brilliant. Couldn't find the companion app in the fire app store so used the sync options in settings. Works like a charm.

Not working, keeps saying "Fire TV No Server App", when I do manual setup, but version 4.1.0 is installed on the firestick. Have been unsuccessful at getting this to work for at least a year now.
This app is amazing. Simply put, it works perfectly right from the start. It is incredibly simple to understand yet the free features are extremely powerful, in fact the free features are so cool that you wonder if you accidentally paid for the app by mistake. I'm very impressed, this is how installing apps should be. Great job developers, others should take note and i haven't even upgraded to the paid version YET. this will be the 1st app I've felt like buying on day one. Thanks and I will be upgrading shortly

Installed in Firestick and nvidia, shield, i don't need to check my phone anymore , messages now in my tv screen . Great application.

I like this but not what I was expecting it was alot Better to start with but wanted the full service so paid for it and would like to see improvement but doesn't keep connected, it has to re-open for the notifications to appear even after setting it to run in background. So am waiting to give a 5 star ?
Best App, have 5 Tv's at my place, and I don't have to pick up my phone for any notification. Its so helpful for digital wellbeing. No looking at phone and getting tempted to check social media.. all notifications on my TV.. just love it..Maybe the only thing that is keeping me in Android and not letting me move to IOS.. App Developer is very easy to reach to and quickly replies to your emails.
