It gives you the ability to deliver a private message to someone via electronic messaging...much like a whisper!
The brilliance of NoTrace.IM versus traditional messaging systems is that the message never leaves our server until it is viewed and erased. Traditional messaging transmits a message from one device to another device. Once delivered, the sender loses control of that message. It can be forwarded, printed, saved forever, or traced back to the sender. With NoTrace.IM the message stays on our server until it is viewed, then it is scrubbed and deleted. You have the ability to unsend messages that have not yet been viewed. NoTrace.IM provides deniability of sent messages, as your name does not appear anywhere on the message itself. Also the person receiving the message is not required to download anything to read your message.

I sent a message to my own phone and i never got it...did it a few times

Really simplifies the sign up/log in process. Once signed up you are automatically logged in. Very easy!
I love this app especially since my parents check my phone regularly so if I forget to delete some secret messages its already done for me

I can put in a telephone number and send it as a text message. What's next????
Its stupid it's not anonymous it shows the email and the apps name what a waste of my time this was

This takes too long to download
when a text msg disappears, it reads "you've been sent a msg from no trace." Completely throwing up red flags. App is a good idea but has a long way to go before it gets any respect.
