NotTiled

Crashed in the middle of making a map. Safe to say, no more map. What's the point of putting in effort if suddenly, for no reason, the app just closes itself? I have a bad internet connection, so that might be why- which would make it even worse it can't work offline.

I really like this quite a lot. The interface, while simplistic in its design, works pretty well and gets the job done. I only have two personal issues. I have a Note 9, and the app renders incorrectly and is stretched to fit my screen. The other thing is the lack of Lua export. I know it says that exports aren't there YET, but I'm just looking forward to Lua export for use with LOVE2D and a Tiled map loading library that uses Tiled maps exported as .lua files. EDIT: Great response! 5 stars now!

Good app, been working on Rusted Warfare maps every so often to fit my taste. I'm not an expert when it comes to programming the tile collision so I've been relying on the Auto Tile feature to carry me through the process, I think there should be another layer added above ground seeing as I have issues placing down decorative tiles outside the item option. Also the Auto-Tile will fill my maps with Water even if I delete every Auto Tile segment before pressing it, accidently overwrites builds.

While I see this app being useful for some, it's just so unnecessarily complicated to use that I can't do even the most basic of tasks with it. I am aware that it is possible to do some awesome things with this app. My point is that an app designed for art/design using a grid system shouldn't have a learning curve. Especially not one so steep.

Great, but can you please add a way to set tile width and height of a tileset while loading them not after so i don't have to mess around with tile columns and count, other than that excellent work except for a few bugs around, saving xml and reopening it seems to give an empty project, but overall 4 stars since it's the only good one i could find. Edit: thanks for the reply and update! You deserve 5 stars.

The general idea is a good one, but this app is not stable. After spending a short time framing my island the entire board went grey.The biomes are not responding properly. For example sand, lava, and dirt looks like grass. I would also recommend a better set of tools as this app requires a great deal of tapping.

Wow. I think I've done it. But.. I couldn't have done it without YOU, developer! In the end, when you get used to it, I guess it is pretty simple! I know how to do it all. So thank you for helping me through. And l, if you never gave me that video link, I would have failed by now. So it's all thanks to you...! P. S. I've already made two maps and they look/feel/work great. So I can say this map editor definitely works!

first of all, i love this program! i dont ahve acess to tiled map editor on a pc oftentimes. i oftentimes play rusted warfare, one of my favorite rts games, and otbers that take advantage of this program. thank you so much for all the work you have done. love that you automatically placed a pre-set settings option for a new rusted warfare map as well! much appreciation for this app. 🍺

Its buggy and not stable. Haveing used it to Try and make maps for rusted warfare, I now found that the app is full of bugs and when your part way through making your map it starts to clitch and then shutdown. The tutorial is average and does not go into detail about everything the app does. Its not brilliant that its clitchy and buggy.

Tiled is a fantastic map drawing tool on the PC, and there has been constant talk of bringing it to smartphones. This one has low documentation, but it's impressive so far and will only get better!

A convinient app for making pixelated maps. Tho there is one thing that bothers me. I'm having a hard time using autotiles when it comes to the stone to shallow water ridge, is there something wrong with my file or do I have to customize the properties of the given tileset for it to function? Anyways great job on the improvements, I appreciate it alot.

This app works for me. I use it to create maps for my phaser 3 games. Everything that i need for my setup is already available. I think this is the best tile map editor for android. I send my thanks to everyone who contibuted to this master piece.

I love it, it keeps rusted warfare from getting boring and let's one use their own creativity, but I don't know how to make custom tiles I've tried but it never works(to make town maps) so could you please add buildings that are in NotTiled, they are not necessary though but would be great :-)

Not sure why people say this is hard to use... Great application (The best of its kind on Android, for sure!). Took me all of 5 minutes to learn how to use it. No tutorials needed (Let alone "hour long videos" that people claim). If you have used Tiled before, this will be a breeze to learn.

Love it. I've been using it to create maps for this small game I'm trying to make and it works perfectly! Thank you for making this app :D Would love to see some sort of terrain tool for platformers, like one which automatically places down corners and sides for you :3

Have finally gotten into the app after a lot of mucking around and there are no preinstalled images and such that the tutorial suggest to use. And that's if the app doesn't freeze. I strongly suggest never downloading this app, it is to complicated and doesn't work. Quote from developer "it works, use another phone" clearly it doesn't work if I have to use another phone...

Its the only map editor i can find for rust and i love it. Takes a while to expand to map and the autosave is annoying. Every 2 mins or so it auto saves and lags it.

It's a good app its very usefull i can create map for rusted warfare but there is 1 problem its just a 1 developer i wish you fix this when im creating map ang sometimes its stop i can't place any block or touch anything and all of my progres in creating map is gone could you please fix that

Confusing, and that sux.... I'm guessing it works but it's literally way too hard to use, operat or create.... If you can be bothered reading a bunch and watching hour long videos explaining how to use this app then maybe it will work but it's not user friendly in any way, even just selecting the map size is frustrating let alone designing tile shape... I'm seriously so confused be this app

The app is very unique, but it would be easier to take a screenshot of the file you created if there was a fit screen option!

Nice app and serve what i wanted. But i am unable to save map it shows saved but when I open the map it show every thing blank.

Everytime i save a map the app stop its stuck on the menu screen and nothing happen and when i just leave it for a second it suddenly turn to black ang the app crush please fix this i spent 1hour making a map and it just disappear

I like how easy it is to use but for some reason my new maps won't export to game. My very 1st one worked well but I made it too small so I made another and it won't show up in game.

This app is great in this update I can make easy and better maps now using the rusted warfare v2 map maker than the older nottiled now I can understand this with tutorials...5 stars I wish can be better and better to the future thx to this app And I have a suggestion can you add an option that can rotate the copied tiles if possible thx
