It used to be a very convenient way to stay on top of my appointments, communicate with my doctors, and get notices about upcoming routine procedures. Now, I am not allowed to log in because they have indicates that there is a newer version that needs to be downloaded. There is no where to download a new version. I uninstalled my existing app and looked for the newer version in my app store. There isn't one available.
really frustrating when I'm trying to send a message and attach photos. horrible app keeps closing and stops working. defeats the whole purpose of it being convenient. Now I can't use the fingerprint to sign into my account. Defeats the purpose of technology.
The "purple" icon app does not work as many reviewers have stated. You need to scroll down and find the Epic Systems icon of My Chart ( the folder with red heart). That's the new app that works fine. Everything is still there, only new formats to see your info. However, Novant still gets a 1 rating for not telling people how to find and know the Epic "red arrow folder" icon to install.
I'm having the same problem as most of the people who have commented. The app will not allow me to sign in without installing new updated version. Novant should fix this. The red folder My Chart app from Epic appears to be a generic app, and as someone else commented, "who knows where your health information is going?" UPDATE After further exploration, the creator of this app seems to be Epic. I downloaded the red folder My Chart app and was able to sign in to Novant Health My Chart.
Finally able to update after 3months of no success. Now it is rerouting me to the internet when attempting to access MyChart, advises me to enable cookies (which are already enabled) and I cant get past that screen. So, now all of the conveniences of having the app are obsolete.
Having the same problem as everyone else. Go to sign in and says updated version is available and to install updated version. App was most recently updated in April. No wonder people can't pay medical bills when hospitals make is so difficult to talk to someone.
TO DEVELOPER: Latest version of this App will not allow me to log into MyChart unless I install App update. I have Auto Update enabled and am running latest versions of both the App and Android. App Uninstall/Reinstall of current version from Play Store does not solve problem. Phone reboot also did not help. Please fix. 9/30/2020
App hasn't worked in weeks. I went to the ER yesterday and for a covid test this morning and was advised to check My Chart for results. I thought they must have fixed access but incredibly, they haven't. This app hasn't worked in weeks that I'm aware of and their employees are clueless. Unbelievable!!! No wonder it's rated 1.8.
I can't get in to my medical records. Message says it has been updated and I need to update. However, my phone does not indicate a need to update. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and I still get the message and can't get in to my records. It is extremely frustrating.
I have missed two appointments now thanks to this app not allowing me to log in telling me to download the new version. I worked real hard to find the new version only after my second missed appointment to read the reviews and learn what new icon/site to look for. This is not good. I use My Chart too often for this.
This app is poorly designed in one respect. It will not allow you to login if it believes it needs updating. Further investigation reveals app is, in fact, up to date and no updates are pending or even available. The app should provide a means to allow a user to manually update. Either this, or do not make updates compulsory in order to access medical information that may be time critical.
Poor front end development issues. App crashes multiple times. Does not progress smoothly across tabs. Unreliable at this time. UI looks good and intuitive.
Keeps saying there is a new app and wont let me log in. But I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice with no luck. UPDATE: Larry had the correct answer. Search for EPIC systems My Chart and get the app with the heart in the folder icon. It works.
I'm having the same issue as most. I try to log in and it won't let me saying that there is an updated version available, but there is not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still doesn't work. It has always worked before, but I can't use it to schedule a dr's appointment for my one year old who is sick.
You get a message saying that an update to the app is available and you MUST install it to proceed....but there is no update button and when you go into your app settings there is no update available. Some posters tell you to download Epic's app BUYER BEWARE Epic is a very large software company and you have no idea where your medical info is going and/or who can access the data once you give them permission in the app. I'm not doing this until Novant addresses this (been weeks now!)
I Love the app however all of a sudden I cannot view anything due to the app is telling me I need to update. I don't see an update and now trying to add the app back it keeps spinning. I am so frustrated that I can no longer see when my appointments are! The app was easy to use but now you can no longer view or add to your phone.
All of a sudden app doesn't work. It says to download new version to continue. That's all well and good if it were actually available. Play store still has old version.
The app was working great for me until a few weeks ago and now it will not open. I try to log in and it doesn't recognize my fingerprint. Then I enter my username and password and it tells me to update my app but there isn't an update available. Please fix so I can communicate with my doctor's again. Thanks!
They removed MyChart from the app, but didn't tell you where to go to get it back. You have to download a new app, Epic's app, with a red folder icon, in order to access MyChart.
When trying to login, it says a newer version is available and must be installed to login. However, when checking the app status, there is no update available. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if that corrected the problem - still unable to login.
Downloaded app to be able to view my chart...tried to hit link for my chart about 10 times and each time got kicked out of app and it would say "close app or send feedback" never could get in ...removing app now

The app says "needs to update" when I try to access anything, then there is no update available in the app store. For a corporation that will send your medical bill to collections even if you're making payments on it it's not a surprise they're incompetent with their customer support
Have always loved Mychart but now, all of a sudden, it's saying I need to update to login and there is no update available. My apps are set up to automatically update when there is one besides the fact there obviously isn't one available. Very frustrated!!!
there are serious login issues on both web-based mychart and the android app (which doesn't work at all). on web-based version, you have to enter your login twice. only then you arrive the main page. then while you're on main page and browsing through different sub-pages, you occassionally get logged out (not b/c of time-out due to inactivity). on android app, you cannot even login to mychart which is outrageous. the one and only app of a big NC/SC based healthcare system doesn't work. period.

I am assuming this is the updated version. I had it on my phone and it worked fine. In the last few months each time I try, my phone keeps telling me it has an updated version that must be installed before I can access my account. I have put on every novant app I can find... Nothing works. I just call the offices if I need something. My doctor's office says I am active in the app on their end.
