NOVATRON Music X

I don't have phone line. I use my smartphone as a wireless AP (set as a WiFi hotspot).X10 is configured with latest firmware & can see my AP and connects OK to it. Music X says "connection fail, no audio device found" Tried it on phone (galaxy S4) and on tablet (Asus z580). Restarted all devices several times. Uninstall Ed and reinstalled music x twice. I'm frustrated that there doesn't seem to be any settings menu, nor any instructions for troubleshooting. I am tech savvy. I would really like I

Worked fine when I connected to my CocktailAudio X35 for the very first time, since then, it lists the X35 but won't connected. It was great while it worked, but obviously useless when it cannot connect. Turned out, the web server of the X35 did not start reliably. So, it's was not the app's fault. Though, an error message could point out that the connection was refused by the (not running) web server in the X35.

Not really easy to use. No integration with Amazon music as claimed. Edit..... Amazon integration is possible if you update the firmware of your device. Still not a good app but will be replaced soon (another firmware upgrade required).

App works ok EXCEPT if I try changing music on hard drive, or it plays awhile and I try reusing the app, ect. Then it goes into the waiting mode until the screen times out. I then stop and restart the app repeatedly until it finally opens.

Painfully bad app, communication is slow, and it only plays one song at a time, it doesn't play the whole album. So - useless, why not just have a play whole album option.

I own a X50D, it sounds great. But this app is letting down a very good piece of hardware. Been putting up with this for more than a year, time to move on to other hardware.

There are some features would be nice to have, however the app was running quite well. This morning I updated the x40 firmware and since then no connection can be established.

Very very limited indeed and not optimized for some devices... Novatron are you there? Due to the importance of a good app for this kind of "all in one"streamer/ripper/ this is good enough to stir many buyer somewhere else...Time to a fresh update! Improved stability????? come on!

Well.. even with wired connection the app could not connect to the N15. It found it on the network but just kept "spinning" when trying to connect... I give up.

Terrible app. No intuitive use, lacks functionality, hangs every one minute. I used both versions, android and ios

Lessy buggy since last version. Loads first time and runs smoothly. Frustration has all gone now. Happy life!!

Terrible, refuses to connect, can't find the server, crashes, says it's running when it isnt.. This is on my X40 Whish I hadn't wasted my money on this product

The songs sometimes skip and I can only play one at a time and it always freezes not great

This App work on X 12. At first this App unable to find the devices, but after update the new firmware, App work well with X 12, well done.

Good if it decides to work, but most days it won't find the device. Very disappointing.

Worked ok until latest firmware update on my x12. I wish i hadn't updated now😤

Couldn't use this app to connect Cocktail X35 after upgrading to R1530 firmware today 😢

Most of the time it will not connect. When it does, it is fine.

New review: Many of the connection problems seem to have gone and it is working quite well. Still a bit clunky at times but now rates as useful. Old review: Worked fine for a while but now just keeps searching for device (x30) As I am unable to read the x30 screen the mobile is the only way I can access my music.
