Novix Pixel Editor

Most stable pixel art program I've used very easy to get a hang of and user friendly. Doesn't have the most features, but all its features work as they should. It would be nice to have a duplicate feature that brought up the edit menu shift feature after tapping it. That would make it a lot easier to use when working with Sprite Animations. Transparency isn't saved very well.

It's a good app, and I still recommend downloading it, and giving a good rating. I'm using this app to create/modify textures on Minecraft: B.E. but today drawing simply doesn't work. I've tried changing modes, rebooting the app, rebooting the phone. Drawing simply isn't functioning. Fill works, and other options work just fine, except for drawing. Great app, and fine work, Developers.

Absolutely wonderful for pixel art and spriting. The custom palettes that save are a nice touch that I haven't seen on many mobile pixel art apps. However I have come across an issue; if I make a palette's name too long I can no longer access the control panel and rename/delete it. This is a minor inconvenience and other than that and a perhaps not so savoury GUI (In my opinion), this is the best pixel art app for android i've ever had the pleasure to use. All in all, it's a great app! 9/10 👌

I love messing around with pixel art and when I found this app I loved it. I've kept this app for almost two to three years now and made a bunch of images. However, there is only one problem that I would like to point out. One day, I went to open the app to convert some of my work into png files, and the app tells me that something went corrupt and that all of my work had been deleted. It had also said that no backup data had been found, so now I have to start from scratch. I am not worrying too much, I just don't want it to happen to my new work. Other than that, the app is wonderful and I enjoy it. I hope this problem can be fixed soon. Thank you.

Been using this to create a Minecraft texture pack and it's worked great. The interface takes a bit of getting used to, but once you figure out where everything is it's really quite a good one. I've tried a ton of different pixel art editors and this one has been for sure the best. A tool that allows me to paste an image over another would be a fantastic addition. Maybe make it so you can copy and paste between your projects? That would be great

I wanted a pixel art app that would work well for making minecraft textures without any restrictions on colors or canvas sizes. So far, this is the best app I could find that meets both those requirements, my only real problem with it is that there is no copy/paste option and it makes what I am doing very tedious.

Very promissing mobile pixel editor. Pros: * Double finger controls(one finger guides coursor, other used to paint with tool selected at coursor) * Nice apllete system * Design of an app isn't overwhelming for new users * Nice learning curve Cons: * Lack of certain tools that are kinda necesarry for pixel art(such tools are: line tool, any tools to edit certain selection and even have selection in a first place) * There is no such thing as layers(sad) It would be a solid pick if dev adds layers

By far the best app of this sort. Some things don't work properly tho: Cropping is weird, inverted coordinates, it seems... And no SD card support.

the app is easy to use, the ui is nice, but the cropping is a little broken (when attempting to crop the image the size will be right but it goes and crops it all from the top) other than that the app is amazing (tip to prevent export blurring: increase the resolution scale when exporting to 5 times more for width, and height)

I've literally been using this for like five minutes and its hands down the best pixel editor app I've ever installed. So many options and useful tool. My favourite is the mouse cursor tool. Really good for presicion. All thats missing for me is animation. That would be great. Anyway, 5/5 stars!!! Thank you!!!

I'm no good at pixel art but at least on Android I find this to be the best app. No ads, no pay-to-use elements. The UI is quite intuitive once getting used to. And it's open source! Absolutely love the control scheme with the cursor movement and two finger tap for fill/erase etc. Such a smart control method and it works so darn well. I'm not much of an artist but love the flow of creating with this app.

Really good. The only thing is that the bars for color or setting are to sensivitive so when you draw they open up and it is kinda annoying. Without it, I would give 5 stars.

Very good app from a very good developer. However, I am unable to find a copy/paste / select tool. I find this essential to pixel art editors, especially when making Sprite sheets

Confusing cursor/touch modes; only "touch" makes changes. Displayed image is often not updated after each edit. Otherwise, this is a very effective editor.

Amazing, beautiful, super useful app - best pixel art ever! Lots of features, great drawing tools and more. I wish there was a layer option, so maybe add that next? Amazing. Thank you so much

Nice interface, especially the cursor. Something I would add is a selection tool to shift parts of the image around. Quite good overall.

At first it was excellent. Then i began noticing small errors-pixels out of place along with missing pixels where they should be. And now, probably less than a month later, i open the app to hear that all of my data is corrupt. It tells me that a backup can be found-and then loses that information as well. So weeks of effort down the drain. Total waste of time. Dont begin enjoying this-it will eventually break your heart.

Love. I used years ago. But it crashes a bit now that I've come back to it. Please update, just so it's compatible

The works pretty well but please add layers and maybe a new feature that let's you animate:)

This is a great app. No adds no payments and all the necessary tools for free. I made various pixel arts with this app and they are amazing and I am not even very experienced in pixel art.

Lost this app smhw, forgot its name and couldn't find it since for some weird reason it doesn't show up when searching for pixel art. never deleting this from my phone ever again.

Great and easy to use pixel drawing app that fits almost all of my expectations, the only thing that I wonder is that will there eventually be an update that allows animating pixel art?

Great interface with easy to understand controls, just no way to save to your phone, which is the main reason I downloaded this app.

The app is literally too outdated to even function on my android device, maybe you could fix that soon? I really enjoyed using the feature this app provides over others (Samsung S9+)

Amazing editor. I have all the precision I need only with the touch screen. Really well desinged

Would be 5 star, but It is nowhere near up to date and needs to be cleaned up a good bit. Hope to use it again if it gets updated!

I can't use it to make textures anymore because I can't access the files because of the SAF thing. Please fix that.

I used this app for every pixel art I needed. Downloaded it again now. Literally the best. Features and everything, it's all there.

I really hate this app the tutorial is hard to learn the grid gets in the way having no grid makes it hard to draw the colour pallette pops up every 30 seconds and why do i have to name a canvas? congratulations to all the people who can use it. i dont recommend
