Now Gesture Tweaks Free
This is Now Gesture Tweaks (free version) app. This app lets you replace the swipe up gesture (from the bottom of device) for activating Google Now with a custom action. You can also use a 1x1 widget in your homescreen for calling the command, if you don't want to use the gesture or if your device doesn't support the gesture.Refer to the video and screenshots for more informations.
NOTE FOR ANDROID M: if you swipe up from home button, google now will be launched, even if you clear defaults. To set Now Gesture Tweaks Free as default app, go in settings/apps/settings icon on actionbar/default apps /assist&voice input/assist app and select Now Gesture Tweaks Free

The icon displayed in the circle can be changed with many possible choices! (for who has virtual navigation bar)
The app doesn't use battery because it gets activated only when the user execs the gesture and gets closed after the command is launched.
NOTE the gesture for activating Google Now it's not the same in all devices. Mostly all devices with virtual keys (like nexus devices) can swipe up from the home button. Other devices activate google now with long-pressing the home button (or also back button and menu/multitasking button) or other. If you don't know what's he gesture for your device model, just search on google!If after executing the gesture google now is launched anyway, go in settings/apps/all apps/google search and clear defaults, then do the gesture again. NOTE2: all the permissions of the app are required by Android for executing the various commands.

Very good app, just want to ask if we can make the home button to pop up 3 apps' spaces (like blackberry priv) instead of 1?

I know this is a great app but after i did a factory reset, i couldn't get it to work 😞
But just one thing, it's a little slow on opening
Just would like the white popup to dissapear when you select "Do Nothing" option.
I can finally play my game without it trying to load those stupid cards!
I could have a whole host of widgets and drop-down menu controls to sort through, but when I need to open something often, without even looking at my screen (in my case, a flashlight) this is perfect. I use it constantly.
I used the notification pull down function, but there is a bug in apps that hide the status bar by default. In such cases, the notification bar does not pull down properly.
I'm using it to run Google translate
Such a basic idea for an app, and perfectly executed. Why the developers didn't think to make this a standard feature is beyond me, but these guys did. Well done.
I've always been annoyed by that default gesture whenever I swiped up accidentally while doing something important. Not any more. This app with its ' do nothing' option in the list of options is exactly what I wanted.
Unfortunately, this app does not work on the Samsung GS4. I give it 3 stars nevertheless because the developer is extremely nice & responsive & spent significant time trying to fix the issue.
Emailed the developer when I couldn't figure it out and he was very prompt and told me what to do make it work and worked within minutes
This app is great. Plz add an option to disable vibration while launching this app.

Really was looking forward to this app, but it doesn't work at all, keeps asking Me to upgrade, but why? When the free version does absolutely nothing @ all.
Finally have the ability to quickly get my flashlight on
How about adding option to use selected app's icon?
add an option to choose custom icon(s).
Please make an option to open Google now with the keyboard already exposed and ready for typing

I use this app in my galaxy note 4 for accessing the notification drawer more easy with one hand . I use the widget. And I purchased the full version.
I use the AWESOME on/off app to turn ON, and the NOW GESTURE to turn OFF the Nexus 5. Works just perfectly.
But many a times little bit slow
I understand you need to declare the icons in the manifest of the app. Y don't you declare some more icons like the camera, settings, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi beforehand.
BLU Advance 5.0 Android 5.1. Does nothing.
Didn't even waste head space on this after 1st launch due 2 stark limitations. Not when free one's are aplenty...
