There is no charge for using the Now Patient ordering and delivery service. It is completely free. The only cost that you might incur is if you have to pay for your NHS prescriptions. In this case we are required by law to pass on the NHS prescription fee.

What is EPS?

notifications dont help, as says been dispatched when not. always seems to be a delay on getting prescriptions through and end up having to phone up and chase my prescriptions every time. very frustrating, ends up being more hassle. would be better if you could select automatic re-order every few months would be much better. having to remember to go in every month to reorder is a pain. if you go to chemist they do it for you, and then just text you to say ready to collect which is much easier.

Experience overall pretty good, considering it is my first time to use the App. I was a little confused with the system to report a missing item. The missing item was resolved after a phone call and the person on the phone was excellent and solved the issue. But I felt the system should have allowed me to add the missing item without resorting to a phone call. However, otherwise well done. I await delivery.

Great app that has made my life a lot easier. There still are some issues with it though, sometimes my prescription delivery address is overwritten by the address the GP has in their system for me, when opening the app I always have the error message saying my session has expired and the communication process in the app is never up to date. Sometimes I already have my prescription and the app tells me they are still waiting for my GP to issue the prescription. But overall I'm happy with it

Doesn't mention that this service is for England only. Having downloaded it, signed up and automatically having my prescriptions read to finding out in Frequently Asked Questions that it's England only was very disappointing. I've tried sending them a message but no luck.. The service doesn't seem to be handled well either by looking at some comments.

Been using this app for the last couple of months. It's very easy to set up, they do all the work, getting in touch with your GP etc. Once it's all set up, you can order a repeat prescription through the app, only takes a couple of clicks, and the medication arrives at your door a few days later. The app works really well, and I'm very glad I installed it.

Fairly easy to use app, only takes a few minutes to order a repeat once you've used it a few times. An improvement that would be useful: if there is an issue with the prescription, it would be good if there was an alert sent to my phone so I am aware that I should chase something up.

Disgusted at the service given. The first time the order was fulfilled not a problem and originally gave 5 stars. Do not even bother. The second repeat prescription I placed, the phone line asks you to email so I did over a week ago and now the phone line disconnects. I understand the issues with covid currently however they have not communicated any of this to any app users. Its just a nightmare. Anyone reading please do not even bother to use this app. If you can even log onto the app.

despite registering successfully over 7 weeks ago have still not had my repeat prescriptions uploaded so i can actually place an order. Because of this i attempted to resolve the issue by contacting customer support who said they would look into it only to have the query closed 72 hours later without a resolution. Edit. After leaving my initial review i was swiftly contacted and my issue was very quickly resolved despite it being over the holidays. Have now been able to request prescription.

Great service and much more convenient than having to use the local pharmacy, especially in these times of quarantine. Had a delivery turn up with my address but somoene else's name was on the package, not sure how that happened, however I rang Now Patient and they responded brilliantly and sent me a return envelope and sent the other person a new prescription the same day. App could use a little polish as it looks old fashioned and is a tad clunky to use, but great experience overall. :)

Easy to use I struggle to go out to pick up my medicine, and rely on my partner to run around for me. This app has given me independence to sort my own meds out, im now more organised as im ensuring im ordering before it runs out. Comes straight to the house, hassle free. It seems pretty straight forward, however it doesn't automatically update your prescriptions so medication has been missed where it's not updated. I've now ordered my repeat prescription as I need it asap and as it's out of their core hours it won't even allow me to message them. I suffer with memory loss and have problems remembering daily tasks etc. So rather than sending the message whilst it's fresh in my mind, I have to hope I remember when they are open. Need to update exemption list too.

Awful app, do not use if missing medication has bad consequences. Never delivered my medication despite having collected the prescription, and customer service is awful so I'm stuck without meds. The app itself is also clunky and awful, none of the reminder features actually work because it logs you out for security reasons and doesn't keep these features working. Notifications can't be cleared even after being read. I had more issues with it too but I'm only allowed 500 characters so 🙃

Not the most reliable service. App is slow to update progress of order and never corresponds with emails sent. Sometimes says awaiting authorisation but the meds been delivered the day previous. I'll continue with it for the time being but if no improvement I'm off elsewhere!

I have been using Now Patient for a few months now and have found it fine. I had a few issues with delivery addresses and phone numbers to begin with but after a couple of phone calls these got ironed out and now everything is good. It's an easier way to get your repeat prescriptions though if it is something that needs signing for (like my insulin) then someone needs to be at home for the delivery.

Brilliant app! Great and welcome convenience! Will review rating when I take receipt of prescription..... would have given 5 star if there was an option to request delivery slot. Review of previous Review 16/01/2019. I have had to reorder a prescription I did not receive, Pharmacy was initially good in informing me of the progress and explaining delay but after 2 or 3 updates they just stopped!! I am willing to still give it a another go as the idea is a good concept.

once a repeat prescription is ongoing this service seems fine. that said, each time my cardiologist changes a dosage or adds a new prescription I have major problems. ie even though the app shows my list of prescriptions correctly as soon as I order the new or updated prescription the order only goes so far as waiting for Dr's signature, then says there has been a problem. no explanation as to what problem. just there has been a problem, and we are in contact with your gp, that's it!

Very slow delivery, due, no doubt, to the second class postage. I had to get an emergency supply of one of my medications from my G.P., otherwise, I could have become very ill. The service and app are a great idea, but need improving. A faster delivery time being the main thing.

Even though it took a while to get rolling so far so good. I definitely recommend this service. I have received two calls from this service completely out of the blue to inform me of a problem way before it became a issue. Which was my biggest problem with my previous pharmacy who even though they where the ones responsible for ordering my med there was never any follow through and there answer was always we did our bit its not our problem. As a new prescription cant be issued until the old one had run out this ment i nearly always went days with out tablets which the pharmacy didn't care about and just said its your tablets it your problem.

This app has gone worse that I've dropped my rating to 1 star. It doesn't let you book for appointments with your practice GPs but some rando who could be at the other side of the country! Also the prescriptions often either keep getting rejected, delayed, or only partially completed with no warning and you can't request other medication even if your doctor recently changed your prescription.

This app is dangerous. Three times now I have been left without medication because of so called "delays with sign off from the doctor". Stick to the traditional and reliable way of getting repeat prescriptions for long term illnesses because this service is bad and dangerous. Support is also rubbish, not once have I heard back from them regarding an enquiry.

Ok, having prematurely rated this App, presuming that their description was even ever so slightly correct! Apps like this one, that seem way too good to be true, really are too good to be true. Avoid like the plague.. In fact, the plague would probably be a lot more relaxing then this App! No meds, no replies to email, or phone. This sparks doubt on whether they are even a pharmaceutical company! 'Free Courier Service' or 'Free 48 hour Tracked Royal Mail' Didn't see an option for 'NEVER'!!

This app is amazing, I have mobility problems and this allows your prescription to come to your doorstep. This means no more back and forth to your Surgery as it is all done for you. I would give this 10 stars highly recommended.
