Nowsta: Workers

I think that after using this app for 2 years, I can confidently tell you that is quite lackluster and that's putting it midly. There are so many issues but, the two that are glaring for an app that's supposed to cater to professionals are 1) Speed and 2) Lack of features. The app is dreadfully slow making its use extremely frustrating as you can not tell if the app has crashed or not because it's that slow. 2 years and nothing new has been added. The features are too basic and un-intuitive.

The application does not let you know when you have new jobs. I have to keep typing in my email address and password everytime I log in. The application takes ten seconds or more to open on my phone. I keep getting a pop up message to install the update everytime I log in. I click on ok to install the update and the cursors just spins as if it is trying to install the update but the update is not installed. These multiple issues are annoying. The application has too many bugs.

Won't sync with Google calendar even though it's an option. Using Android phone. Also app is very slow during busy times

The app is horrible. I get the notifications about jobs but everytime I login the app glitches and kicks me out. So by the time I eventually get into the app, the job listing is gone.

Great application. Nothing wrong with it. I wish there was somewhere to contact the place your working at but that's not the apps problem I don't think. So 5 stars for me

Amazing app, love all the details when asked to take the job..

A week ago I would of given this app 5 stars. It's always worked great for me, it's slow to respond sometimes but that didn't really bother me. But 3 days ago the app stop letting me click on the links by boss post in our jobs. I can't click on the address anymore. Before I clicked on the address and it took me directly to my Google maps. Now I click and click and click and nothing happens. I need to be able to open the links. I've emailed 3 times and haven't gotten any response. I need help!

App promotes conflicting job schedules! Needs to be updated 24/7 per each employee- please/ thank you

Unhappy with how declined cash outs (my debit card was locked) are handled and that NO ONE appears to work at this company on weekends! I cannot run the cashout again and cannot access my pay and that is ridiculous. It shouldn't be inaccessible for days on end. There is no information on how to fix it!

I keep missing updates and shifts notifications. I can't send or open notifications that came to me, the only way I know that anything was said because I can preview part of the message but can't even respond or create a message to others. If not the fact that my company uses it I would delete it permanently.

I have been using this app since October of 2019 and it has been great and worked perfectly for what I needed it to but just recently, within the last month, I have stopped receiving notifications via text messages that I have received a job request from my boss using Nowsta. Usually my boss sends me job requests through Nowsta and then I receive a text message from Nowsta letting me know to check Nowsta for the job requests so I can accept or decline. I no longer receive the text messages??

Not a fan of the new ui changes, also the app doesn't work if it's not updated, there's no way to know you need to update the app. Edit: Thank you the issue is the app doesn't work if its not updated, is it possible to have google play notify when there's an update ? This happens every time there's a update. Going to Uninstall and reinstall the app. Using Galaxy Note 9.

Worse since update. Takes longer to load, slower since they did an update on it. I decline shifts and they come back up. Ten times I declined the same shifts and same job offers come back. I know management is not resending the declined shifts. Something wrong with the app.

Great. Would be nice to have a comments/ remarks section so I could leave messages for my employer to review at their convenience. For example, when a shift ends at an inappropriate hour to be calling my boss I could clock out on the app and have the option to enter a message. So when I forget to clock out I can leave a note to let them know. Also if I could click on a specific shift and have a way to send a message for any questions I may have like employers have the option to do.

The app is extremely slow and laggy. Updates to shifts are often missed or I don't receive notifications for them at all. Shift time update information should be viewable in the notification itself instead of making me open the laggy app and wait twenty seconds for it to load

This app should calculate and track hours with daily rate of pay earned, including tax withholding, broken down into pay weeks, the option to add notes, ability to review past days/weeks from the first login date. I hate that I have to download separate apps to do so. Everything should be in one place. Our employers chose to use these apps they should be more accommodating to the people having to use them without needing to download extra apps taking up more space n data or having to pay after trial period.

Simple and easy to use. Easy to read and understand.

I absolutely love this app! It gives you experience like no other app can(that I don't have the words to describe it to say exactly how I feel...) but if you are into culinary arts....use this app as a stepping stone! It will launch you into places that will definitely get your feet wet ....and you enjoy the world culinary and appreciate it all the more!

Nowsta is a great communication tool between my employer and I.I wish more companies would use it.

Helps me know when and where I work n it counts my time for me this is great

Horrible and glitch interface. Hours get rounded up and down the whole time and clocking in to locations worked once and then never again. Worst. Staff app. Ever. Stay away from this.

It takes too long to open from the time I tap the icon. I like the more animated design but everyone is caucasian. The icon color was better on previous design.

This is a great work app it reminds me of my shifts. I use the calendar so that I don't have to reschedule my appointment for my personal life I just build my work schedule around my appointment's if I have any !!

Terrible, slow, unintuitive, over complicated, buggy. i can't even open it after latest update. this is after many reinstallations.

The app won't open on my phone unless I uninstall it and reinstall it every time I need to use it. And when it does work it takes 20 seconds to load each page.

Great app, everything in one place. Only thing I don't like is that I can't click on my teammates, sometimes I need their phone numbers and it won't let me see them or click on it,but at one point I thought it did

This new version 2.29.5 is very bad. It doesn't show up notifications. I lost shifts because of this problem

It is so much easier than Hot Schedules. Except I wish it would show the amount of your pay check instead of a running total

Very easy to use and I love the reminders of upcoming shifts! Would recommend they update make it possible to see shifts pending approval.

Still "Pending" from yesterday and today! App updates hours, a day afterwards not in real time. Your wages are not updated in real time. Waiting for wages for Tue. Hrs updated for Tue but no wages. Hrs/Wages have not updated for Wed, even though shift is over. Glitchy, Slow.
