Nox Browser - Fast & Safe Web Browser, Privacy

A very good browser that I have been trying to find for months. It blocks ads and auto rotates your screen whenever you watch videos without you having to press any buttons. One suggestion I would like to make for the developer is to ask for download and see the file. Keep up the good work! * For an example; when you press download on a website, a pop up should appear telling you the name of the file that you edit, the size of the file, and the type of file.*

This was my new favorite browser app but you ruined it with that last update and now I'm moving on again. Why oh why did you have to make it so everytime time U close the app in the running app drawer, all of the tabs are closed when reopened? You don't even offer a setting to turn that feature off! Plus what the heck is up with the multi page view now? I want to see page images, not a list of web addresses! Cheetah did something equally stupid, that's why I switched to you. Moving on. Again.

It has great potential but it lacks any setting to enlarge text for those of us who don't (also a dealbreaker for small screen phone owners.) Other issue is that you can't choose desktop mode as default or change the user agent but at least there is a toggle. still it is sleek and fast. id consider making it my default browser if i could enlarge the text and will rate 5 stars if this setting is added.

This browser has so many great features, yet I find myself having to uninstall it. For starters, there is no "contains ads" disclaimer, yet every time I go to put in a web address, an ad shows up right under the address bar. Most importantly, the browser doesn't keep me logged in to my gmail (which accounts for 75% of my browser usage) and I find myself having to sign in every time. No other browser that I've used acts this way. Lastly, there seems to be no way to add shortcut to homescreen.

I have had this browser installed for less than 5 minutes and will be removing it shortly. It seems that it might have some decent points but the one thing I cannot get past is the forced portrait mode at the home screen. Even when the 'lock portrait mode' is turned off I am still stuck in portrait mode. I hate portrait mode! Also, I cannot seem to add site links on the home page. Too bad. It seemed like it might be a decent alternative to Crappy Chrome.

A good Brower in general, but failed to provide image search capability and the default custom Google search is useless as it only listed websites instead of full listing of image, video, and other related results. In addition, it also lacks page forward capability, completely nuts. Such bad decisions, wonder if the author ever done any extensive web browsing or academic research.

Downloaded to find a replacement for chrome and firefox. Nox is incredibly fast at loading web pages, etc. Unfortunately, I like to watch videos and I can't rotate to landscape with this browser, so the search continues. A shame really, as this browser has everything else going for it.

Yes this browser is fast and I think it has a good future. I'd be happy to pay for a version that provided better controls. I used it for several months but uninstalled due to the lack of important privacy controls and unavailability of useful add-ons. Being able to selectively control privacy by individual website, including the ability to selectively control which site credentials I would like to retain between sessions is important for a security focused web user.

It's much more better and have lesser bugs than other Browsers. it's really great and fast in browsing and downloading but it has a major problem and that is the browser doesn't save my passwords, so i have to enter them every single time for each of my accounts and that's really annoying. i really want it to be fixed on the upcoming updates.

Good in the beginning but after a while when i search for images in Google, only the 1st few images are showing the rest are not, just some empty boxes. Also when viewing video in full screen, somehow there is a while bar at the bottom that does not seem to go away. A bit annoying.

Great Browser. Just want two things: A scroll bar on the side showing how far down the page you are, and an option to change search suggestions from two columns to one, as suggestions get cut off when in portrait mode. Most browsers have that little bar on the right side showing where you are in the webpage, and it changes in length based on how long the webpage is. And when I search from the top bar, it splits suggestions into 2 columns and cuts them off at about 17-18 characters.

Before this UI overhaul, this browser was my go-to But now? It's just not for me. There's a few new bugs which weren't there before, too - you ca search for something just fine. But want to amend your search? Nope - you have to close the tab and open another one I'd be fine with the new bugs, IF, they brought back a "UI Switch" so you could decide which UI version to use. Unless this gets added, I'll be switching back to Firefox

A great browing app. The reason I chose it was due to adblock feature. I play YouTube with this app. The only issue raised was after the recent update. The automatic full screen feature is disabled. I have to hit the full screen on YouTube video. Even after, I don't get the full screen.

The app works fine most of the time, but today it just cleared my history, reset my settings, and closed all of my tabs. I had those tabs open for a reason, but apparently Nox doesn't care. Edit: Went back to find the many tabs I lost, but have only found 1. Many of the tabs had similar names, and I used to use the image of the tab to sort between them. That's gone now so I am forced to switch between 3-4 tabs to find the tab I was looking for. Going to try to find another browser today.

This was hands-down my favorite browser for adblocking and media consumption without fuss, until recently when two issues arose: 1) I'm getting logged out of Twitter and discus apps and having to relogin every time I visit the sites, and 2) duckduckgo browser page has started to pop up default ads and won't save my settings. Duckduckgo works just fine in my Firefox browser, which I've had to resort to using for everything but media now due to these issues that impact me multiple times a day.

I have been using this app a month ago and the service provided by the Developer party is also quite satisfactory. But since the end of this app it has gotten ads and no longer blocks ads completely. I hope the developer can fix this problem

Thank you for the app However, there is a lingering problem in having pages in landscape Some of us with Tablets prefer landscape orientation, particularly when watching videos I would suggest that you set the orientation to follow system settings With that the problem would be solved As it is, one must lock it at portrait view, otherwise, it becomes unusable Thanks

I liked this browser, it has a good interface and seems pretty good in general, but something i did not truly like, is that it can't block popups. If you can upgrade the adblocker to the Brave level one, this browser would be my #1 election! Pretty good job!👍🏻👍🏻

So far just from my experience trying out websites with a lot of JavaScript, images, and animation, is browser perform so well even compared to Puffin and Chrome. Using a Note 9 on Android 8.1 My dream Android browser would be one that feels as fast as Safari on my old iPhone 7 plus does now. Something about the scrolling on Android just feels off, but this browser comes close. If only they could make it more fluid as sometimes it does drop frames here and there.

So bad I had difficulty finding the button to shut it off. 2. Demo pictures on play store (here) are WORTHLESS, showing ZERO of what they should.

for the most part it works well. home button disappears and browser becomes unresponsive at times. some webpage components (like dropdowns) dont render properly and dont respond. EDIT... thanks i tried the beta but it has more issues than the regular version. Im not being a guinea pig and have removed nox browser permanently.

With no warning, the Adblock feature of this browser abruptly expires after a period of time and suddenly you're bombarded with ads. If you look in settings, the adblock item has disappeared from the settings menu. No explanation. Very, very disappointing.

no fullscreen option, blocks only certain ads not all of them. All in all a fast browser with an enourmous lack of features. Really disappointing experience. Uninstalled after 15min of use. I recommed learning from the developers "Turbo Browser", now that is a decent browser.

Thank you for fixing the issue with Downloading Images who dosen't appear in Gallery. I used NOX in the past and Uninstall because of this issue. Now i install it again and i see that you fix the issue ! Worse browser I've used in a while. You can't even minize a tab and switch to another tab without starting all over again. i was doing a registration and needed a code from my mail in another tab. By the time you return with the generated code, the page is restarting, making the code useless. You will generate another one and by the time you return, the page is restarting again. Meaning you can't leave a page without it restarting on your return, even if its a second. Uninstalling now.
