Simple Wonderful app for the daily NPR news updates&news shows. Choose from the daily NPR news radio broadcasts & shows. Only NPR no Fresh air, Radiolab,AmericanLife etc. Simple & spectacular! NPR news updates are uploaded throughout the day & night. The radio shows are up DAILY as soon as they are available (Up First, Morning Edition & All Things Considered Sun-Sat. This app is fantastic. It works great even though the user interface looks like it's from 1991
No longer finds contents for PRI's World or Science Friday.
Great app. Does what it says. Fast too.
Could be better if it played the selections as they are broadcasted from NPR. Meaning, it should move from one broadcast to another as they are heard from NPR
Great app, just what I was looking for. One annoying problem: sometimes downloaded sound files start over part way through.
I was looking for an app just like this:) The UI obviously needs some extra attention in my opinion...I'm sure that'll improve with updates. If I could request a feature, it would be to integrate a search function:) This app is really great as is though...was just throwing that request out there. Thanks again!!
This app is better than the original NPR news app. Don't judge an app by it's unattractive icon. This app is simple, easy to use, offers streaming as well as downloads, and has given me no problems. Thank you for this functioning app!!
What NPR's app should have been (and is not). Essential for any public radio news fan.

Fixed it, works perfectly! Way better than the official app, lets you create your own playlist of All Things Considered or Morning Edition...easier to use, more stable than the official app.
Best app I have found for downloading ATC & ME for my cycle commute. 3g streaming is too expensive in NZ for the official app.
Almost no shows, or episodes, and no options at all. No regional or state public radio shows or stations. HTC EVO
It works perfectly on my new transformer. I'm a big fan of NPR Talk of the Nation podcast. Now I don't have to download every episode, though I can do it with this app. A great app!
Can you change the app icon to something more NPR-ish? as it is now, its hard to recognize.

It isn't pretty, but it actually works! Official app could learn something from this.
Does anybody realize how small this app is ? No bloated bs no flashy pointless icons, the programmer is a genius, excellent the best NPR app out there.
Thank you! I can stream the shows I want and it doesn't stop after 3 minutes and doesn't stop when the screen is off! I would love for NPR to fix their app issue, but since they won't your app allows fills in. I live overseas and hearing NPR keeps me in contact with home.
