I have appreciated this app and felt like it was preparing me for my exam. I purchased the premium version a while ago, but then last night after I got through all 600 questions, an ad came up offering an ultimate version with 300 extra questions and endless question of the day for $15. I thought this sounded like a great deal. I paid but nothing has changed. I have no new questions and am unable to access more than 1 QOTD. Tried to contact pocket prep through the app with no answer.
I've only done a few practice exams on the free version but so far they seem like really good questions and related to my college classes! I will continue to use and update if anything changes!
Only had it for a few days. The questions of the day are the same in he 10 practice questions which is a little dissapointing, but anything offering free quizzes is always helpful!
Pretty decent app to study since there's not competence in Android system. Many questions are poorly elaborated our just wrong (specially gait with AD). Other than that is an Ok app and it helps to study. it would be beneficial if it had a button to report the bad questions or explanations.
The questions and explanations are fine but the cost is a huge barrier to entry. My PTA class have all expressed that they would purchase the extra questions if it was priced more reasonable.
I appreciate that the app let's you choose content areas and tells you where your strengths and weaknesses lie. I have come across a question or two where the right answer is marked as "wrong".
I have used this app and score builders and I love it. It has helped me pass the NPTE. It is easy to use and I can just easily access it on my phone. If I get an answer wrong it explains it.
I am still in the beginning of my PTA program. But this app is great for preparing for my regular exams. I also think that using this app now will help me be more prepared for the licensure exam a year from now.
Similar to score builders with detailed explanations. Extra practice convenient and available while waiting at the doctor's office or riding passenger in the car.
Could not log in with either of my emails. It kept saying invalid password or email when I was just trying to create the account.
lets you see what areas are you good or not so good in like muslce skeletal, wound care, neurological ect. I love it!!
I used this app throught the PTA program and prep for the NPTE-PTA. This app had very similar question styles that mimics the exam. I passed my exam on first attempt with using pocket prep and score builders!!
Seems like a cool convenient app for quick studying.I have the free app. I have not purchased the premium version yet.
I enjoy the convenience of this app, have never had issues with it, however, it becomes repetitive after awhile.
After using score builders and comparing to this app.... This app is way better! It uses O'Sullivan for references, and the questions are all relevant. Score builders is not always relevant to PTA's. Just knowing that the ppl who create the board exams made this app is reassuring enough to me that this is preparing me well for test day. Highly recommended!
great questions! very useful because you can take them anywhere you take your phone or tablet with the app!
rip off. I bought the premium, used it for one day, and now it's shutting down, and not responding to my login and pw. don't buy this app!
so far the free version has been good. I am considering upgrading and will revise my review if I do.
I paid for premium on this app and then they updated to another app called medical pocket prep and are now requesting a monthly fee for premium
I think some of these questions were easier but overall it's a great practice app!
It's a good app for quick studying if you ha e a few min. Nothing too in depth
good content, but can't login thru Facebook in which I have a paid subscription on my phone. can somebody help make this happen please?
You can't use the app it is immediately disabled since March 2021
Very good questions complete with citations from textbooks used in actual PTA school.
very useful with helpful explainations for each answer and incorrect answer
The question of the day repeats too much to be worth it, but its a good tool nonetheless
I love the explanation after each question it's very helpful.
Very useful, informative and reliable!
easy and simple way to study on the go
some of the questions are wrong and some are poorly elaborated. It is a good app but it can confuse people with some of the questions. One example is about the Glasgow coma scale, it says that it is a rating scale from 1 to 6 and you are supposed to answer what a patient should do with a rating of 4. In the first place you add all the scores. The lowest score you can get is a 3 and the highest a 15. A 4 would be for someone in coma. The answer and the explanation they give you is wrong.
