I contacted the developer over a problem with the NQLink camera function in the version 5.0.0 upgrade. He took action immediately and was able to resolve the issue in nine days. As a result, version 5.0.4 is fully functional and I could not be more pleased with his response.

App update caused app to become unusable. Instant crash on start up, even after restarting. Unable to uninstall for fear of losing keys.

Would give this ZERO stars if I could! As did many others, I PURCHASED the PRO app and have been locked-out of a PURCHASED app. Now it crashes and won't even update or open Google does nothing about this and says we need to contact the developer - oh, do you mean the developer who ignores the customer that paid for the product? Yes, that is the one ... Google will not get involved I blame BOTH the developer & Google for this.

Purchased the Flat Fee Pro version a few years back, and have been using every since. My phone auto updated the version, and the developer added ransom subscription, and locked all his customers out of the pervious version. Should have allowed pervious clients to use the old version, and stopped providing support/updates, then simply change the name of the new version if he was going to make it subscription based. Very disappointing the way the unannounced change took place!

This app is a must have for anyone on a Leviton Omni Controller. Don't waste your time with SnapLink. Not only does NQLink work well, but the developer(s) are constantly making it better and improving functionality. The developer(s) are also very responsive to any bugs and feedback. Within a few days of reporting a bug, it was corrected. Great app, great support...couldnt ask for anything better!

I like many other reviews here are now very unhappy. Originally purchased the app for $50 and had great use of it over the last few years. Noticed the glitches that kept happening and then my phone auto updated and now the developer is forcing a subscription on top of what I paid a few years back, not right. I agree if this is the way they want to go then hit the new people with it not the ones that outright paid for it before! Hopefully the developer will make this right!

-☆ Paid over $50 for this app, and now you really expect us to pay a monthly fee, when the app policies stated that in paying for the app and is features at the time. If that's the case, give me back my old version that work totally fine with my system. Offer the updated monthly cost app for someone else. But at this point, by starting to charge me a monthly fee for something I already own, is agensts the law, and is now considered just as if your asking me for ransom. Snap-link works just fine.

Original: Great for controlling Leviton/HAI systems. Update 9/29/20: After paying $30 for the app about one year ago, they are now blocking access to all functionality and charging $1.99/mo subscription to continue using the app. Update:. I was pretty upset at the pricing transition a year ago, but I continue to find value in the app and appreciate the developer continuing to support the HAI system.

Decided to bite the bullet and pay for a subscription to this app that I previously purchased - but then found that the subscription seems to only apply to a single device!! What the heck! I have the app on my phone and tablet - just tried to open it on my tablet and it wanted me to pay again and at the higher rate for new subscribers! I think not If I developer doesn't resolve this quickly I'll be requesting a refund!

I already purchased this app a few years ago. Paid full price for it. It is not right that my purchase is voided and I am forced to pay a subscription to continue using it. What was a good app has become a scam for people who already purchased it. I understand if they want to charge a subscription fee for newcomers, but to start charging a monthly fee for those who already purchased the app is just not right.

Bil. B. Dec 17, 2020

Like most others I had previously paid a substantial sum for this application, and to support the developer. Crippling a paid purchase unless I know move to a subscription model is fraud. Uninstall. SnapLink still works fine, and I bought that too so will be going back to it.

All appears to be working good, but am struggling to get the camera portion to work, I was hoping someone has an example of how to configure. I am trying to configure a Hikvision NVR and have had no success additionally no manuals anywhere or sample config, even though the config seems pretty simple

A serious bug. Whenever I select a thermostat, the mode of the thermostat is changed from HEAT to OFF. So when I turn up the heat set point, it has already turned the mode to OFF. If I don't notice this, the pipes will freeze in this unoccupied vacation home.

So I have auto update turned off so I can manually check the notes before updating. I see in the latest update "beware before updating" due to a new subscription. Lol this app was not cheap and it is not right to take away access just like that. An alternative way that would have been fine is remove the current app from listings on Google Play (previous people who already paid can still install from My Apps). Then roll out a new app that requires a subscription if updates are wanted.

Phi. Jan 6, 2021

This app used to be perfect and now it's a nightmare. Nothing works and if I update, I am forced to pay monthly for an app I paid a lot of money to have. Contacted the developer many times, I used to get a response very quickly but after this horrible update, I'm not getting any answer. What a shame... I'm left with a useless app, no useful update to fix it and a Dev team who doesn't care.

Eri. H. Apr 22, 2021

What a scammy developer, i paid full price twice for 2 phones for a working app only to have it turn into a monthly subscription. Don't buy it nothing works and its a pos app from a pos developer. New update.....still a pos app, still want you to pay for subscription after i already paid for it... still a scam don't buy into it., i also see now the developer has renamed the other app snaplink to fake you into buying it, the original snap-link made by leviton do not buy the one from hth studios

I'm installed over 6 months ago. This app working great, reliable, alway under update and improved. Great UI. less step to switch other tab since added slide menu at bottom screen. Best app for omni controller. I happy with this.

Mat. H. Nov 27, 2020

Bought the app and was very happy with it for a few years. Recently it's become extremely unstable and they have moved to a subscription model which makes my previous purchase useless. Very unhappy and uninstalling

10/1/30 - Maybe the developer or whoever runs the show for the NQLink app realized it's not a good business decision blind side customers with monthly fees. I can understand the demand for the app has probably dropped off significantly since Leviton shut down HAI but monthly fees are not the answer. Glad to have control of my OmniPro II back again, hopefully it will stay that way 9/29/20 - So much for this app - an unannounced automatic update locked me out of the app I paid $50.00 for - unless I now pay a monthly use fee. RANSOME. Such a shame, as you will see in my original review a couple years ago, I was very happy with the app and the support until two days ago. My original review follows: Fantastic, the developer has done a great job making an app that the manufacturer could not . I have been frustrated with the manufactures Snap link app that just never worked correctly. My son purchased a HAI Omni pro and found the NQLink app. Glad he did because as soon as I found out I purchased the app for my Android, now I have a app that works the way it should. Developer is very helpful and when I found a bug with my audio controls he updated the app that fixed to problem within 2 days. Can't get better customer service than that!

Tar. F. Nov 30, 2020

We purchased this app some time ago and it was good and we did recommend it. However, with recent update there is now a monthly (or annual fee) and our purchase of the app is voided? Google allows this??? No longer recommend primarily because of how this was handled by developer. No notice was received. No recognition of prior purchase (understand if they want to start new policy for new users) - crazy that Google allows developers to change their minds and "take away" purchased apps.

Jas. N. Nov 9, 2020

Unbelievable. Paid $50 for this app now i get a new phone, go install the app again now he wants a monthly fee. I contacted him and he sent me a link to old app and it worked for a couple days now it crashes when I arm my alarm. He must of updated it to force people like me to pay. CROOK is all I can say. Run!

There is a work around, install and configure HAI Web-Link II and then create a link on your Phone. It works and again something I already paid for from HAI now Leviton. HOWEVER -This developer is only concerned about making money. They no longer take customer satisfactions or their bad review to heart. They now have another application which is the same, but they changed the name, still require you to do a yearly or monthly additional fee to use all the features. Do not install, make a complaint to Google. As a business they should not have made changes to an already paid application and then request additional money to use it moving forward. They say they made changes because of costs. Well it the cost of doing business, if they did not think it through the first time, their current paid customer should not have to foot the bill. They made a new app and deleted the other from the store. However once you buy something it is in your profile under Library. The Update pushed the new application be installed, removed the NQLink-OmniPro II App and installed the new OmniPro App in its places. A developer should not be able to uninstall a paid app and install another to get more money. " ORIGINAL UPDATE REVIEW" I have had your application well over 4 years I believe, and now your requiring a monthly fee to see all the features when there has been no updates and Leviton has put the product on the End of Life. I understand you’re a developer and this is how you make your money- however expecting existing customers to pay an additional fee was not part of the original terms when first bought and installed. I am out of the country on a deployment and rely on this application to review my security and lighting. Please advise a solution for this issue. You did this with no advance notice to your customers. UPDATED In the past you were very quick in responding to emails, now with this issue it seems that I am being ignored. I understand that you/your company is in the business to make money. However you cannot change things after the original purchase was completed, yes you can do another application or notify that things are changing. You/your company has decided just to make changes and expect the end user to give you additional money from the original purchase. This is not professional, ethical no do I believe it is within Googles guidelines. Again I am asking for you to put it back to the way it was, it you want to do this on another platform like you have done, this is fine. However to existing customers this is not right.

F. O. Nov 10, 2020

The app crashes trying to perform basic functions since the last update. tried to contact the developer and never got a response. Pretty crappy for a paid app.

Ben. S. Dec 9, 2021

This app wasn't a bad deal until the subscription fee for what was already a paid app started. I tried NQLink because Leviton Snap-Link was buggy and less than useful. I have now been using Leviton Snap-Link for over a year now. I have had zero issues and the app is free!!! If this app wants to survive, the owner needs to lower the price. Leviton dropped the HAI Omni so there will be little to no future customers and the high subscription fee for a paid app alienated your existing customers.

Tra. H. Jan 24, 2021

Developer is pretty slimy, taking an already paid app and making it subscription based without any notification. Dont buy either app from this person. Just reinstalled snap link, it may not be better but at least I dont have to pay ransomware. Stay far away!!!

Leo. L. Jul 24, 2021

I bought this app a while ago for over $40 when it was called omnilink. It was a great app to use, but then the developer pulled a fast one and made it subscription based even for people that had paid a steep price for it.

Mat. T. Nov 20, 2020

Developer purposely broke the app I paid $50 for to try and force me to have to pay for the subscription app. I will not support this type of business model by giving him more money. I switched to the Leviton app and it seems to work good so far and was only $20.

Mar. N. Jan 23, 2021

Same as everyone else below, I'm bitter about paying $50 for the app a few years ago and now am unwilling to pay for this going forward. What I can't understand is why they can't, at the very least, allow the subscription to apply to the family, per the family account. It makes no sense, financially, for a family to use this app. If this is possible, I don't see how.

Dav. D. Nov 11, 2019

This app is absolutely sensational. I use for my security system. I control my outdoor lighting, Hot water recirculating pump and some lighting And also use to view security cameras.

Tyl. U. Nov 7, 2019

The developer does an awesome job with this app, and updates it frequently. He's also quick with support if needed. This app blows snaplink out of the water.
