App is useless on my tablet! Ad pages load perfect, articles won't load properly. Text on top of text, Making it impossible to use. SO FRUSTRATING!
Installed and ran with absolutely no issues. Content downloaded perfectly. Thanks for the additional titles!
Has PDF downloads for offline reading (or your favorite PDF reader if you hate the NRA app), deep archives (American Rifleman back to 2011, First Freedom 2014 onward; hadn't checked the rest as I write this review) for all 4 NRA mags. Tap the 'cloud' icon to DL PDF. A 24Mb test download (opened DL link in browser) of a PDF Feb 2020 issue reads just fine. Works great on my stock T-Mobile Samsung Note 8 (phone) & Tab S6 lite (tablet).
Great easy to read your magazines. Like having the magazine itself.
Love these magazines been a fan for years!
How can it ask for a password when i just downloaded the app. Deleting the app.
Great organization standing up for Americans!
Useless app. Try to navigate the NRA website, most all links land on "donate/renew" join GOA a "no negotiate" association.
Great app. Easy to use.
The best!
Proud member of the NRA. Didn't join for this app, but I was seriously underwhelmed by this app. They apparently just hand out one generic set of credentials, but it doesn't even store those so those have to be reentered. Zoom doesn't work properly on Galaxy S7, all goes white if I try to pan while zoomed. As others noted, landscape is unsupported. Between those things, I can't actually see anything large enough to comfortably read. This needs significant work.
Not sure, but, I believe most of the bad reviews were for an earlier version. I use an LG phone and this app works great on it. Easy to navigate and zoom in to read that fine print. The issue some had with having to enter the id and password every time seems to be fixed. I would like to see it have the ability to go into landscape mode but not really a necessity since zoom works fine. All in all a good app.
The app have many issues. It's not working property with PDF format, doesn't support landscape orientation. My life style is required to use multiple devices and the app don't react same on different device. UI/UX is required a total revamp. Conclusion: unistalled.
Proud Life Member of the NRA. Catch up on current and back issues of your favorite NRA magazines with this app. Even if you have an NRA account you will most likely need to email tech support to get the credentials to use the app. Yes you can zoom in and out. Yes you can view either portrait or landscape. Yes you can download PDF files to read offline with a pdf viewer. Just get the darn app!
I am a Life Member and a NRA Pistol Instructor. The app does not recognize my login info.
This, and everything the NRA touches has blood on its hands. Google needs to remove all NRA associated apps now and forever.
This app works perfectly on my Pixel XL. Not sure about some other reviews, but why would you want to view a standard magazine in landscape on a (small) mobile device. The PDFs download fine, then it's up to my mobile PDF viewer, which also works perfectly. I can't find anything wrong with the app.
Great way to read ALL NRA magazines. Some I didn't know existed. The low reviews are unfounded. Life member.
Can't open issues on my nook. Always get the "app not responding" and it closes. Have tried reporting it for months, but no reply. I wish it worked or they would just mail me the magazine again. UPDATE: Sent them an email but no response.
App refused to accept username and password entered. Am now reinstalling the app.
Not sure why this app has such a low score. It downloaded quickly and works well. No bugs. Its a simple, effective, and free magazine reader. What's not to like?
On two different tablets (Kindles), it launches and immediately closes.
Created by an organization that enables the mass slaughter of children.
Won't go into landscape, very annoying.
This app will not open on my fire hd10, I have unistalled and reinstalled with no luck.
This is a great app for reading NRA Mags. If you're experiencing technical difficulties, like I was until a few minutes ago, contact support. They are very responsive and very helpful. Turns out I was using my NRA account username and password instead of the NRA Mag App login credentials...
Downloaded quickly and without issues. Great content and everything I was expecting! Long Live The 2nd Ammendment!
