NRSV Bible Apocrypha 4.0

This is the Bible Version used in my Church and I am happy it is on your list. I can use it when I am not at home. Thank you so much.

It's good but it doesn't have the book of Enoch, Jasher and the Jubilees in it. You also cannot share the verses to social media like WhatsApp or even copy them

This is a good app - I've been looking for a NRSV app for ages so thank you. However, I have to agree with some other users that the navigation is a little clunky. The ability to swipe left or right to go forward or back a chapter like I can with my Tecarta NIV would enhance the app considerably.

However certain issues if addressed would make it great i.e. night reading mode, scroll thro' chapter wise without going back nd reselecting chapter, option to copy and paste text, etc. Over all very good work. God bless your endevours

It's nice to have the NRSV as a free app, but the layout of this app is not conducive to biblical study. Navigation is inconvenient - it would be nice to be able to go between chapters without having to go back to an index. Also sorely missing are references and notes, making it difficult to look up commentary or word study.

great that there is an NRSV out there that is free since this is what my church uses BUT im new to reading the bible and i dont know which books are poetry, prophecy, history ect. its very frustrating to try and follow along with the verses while he is preaching when i cant find the book i need to be in :( other than that complaint i love this!

Nice clean organization but no search function. Serious deficiency. Shows book and chapter headings - big plus. Some popular Bible apps don't show this info. Good for finding text but you must go elsewhere to find key words.

NRSV Bible is said to be one of the most accurate translations available. This app version is not very user friendly for beginners to navigate as it first groups chapters by books (pentateuch, etc) and for those who do not know these groupings it is a pain to find the chapter you are looking for. Also lacks audio that you find in other free bible apps. The app works well otherwise. Nice font size controlled. Needs search to pull up passages.

While I am glad to have found an app including the Apocrypha, the user interface is terrible. One has to back out of one chapter instead of simply being able to swipe to the next. And there are neither section headings nor even a find feature.

I've been using this for some weeks now as a catechist during the Bible sessions. Thank you and God bless

It would help if the chapters were broke down by name and/or there was a search feature. Oh and a dark theme.

Great Catholic phone bible . Would need a way to read without going all the way back to select next chapter.

Please give an option for Black Theme i.e White text with Black background. And please give an option to select text (word and entire page). Thank you!

The entire holy bible is available along with apocryphal writings. It is easy to use the app if one knows the divisions of the books of the holy bible. If not one learn it through using the app.

Feeling good to know the importance of the chapter according with its category...need more like automatc save of verse or chapter while on church or congregation... Its good

Great for reading, but would have been excellent with copy & paste. Books have been grouped into genre. Didn't mind this, but it does require one knowing where to look. Not s problem in my case.

Needs swipe gestures to go to the previous/next chapter.

I only wish there were a setting to make the text white on black for when I'm reading in the dark so the screen isn't quite so bright.

Great app and simple to use. It is the exact bible I use at home and I was happy to find that I can easily carry it anywhere now.

NRSV is the most reliable version ever... Easy to understand... but new updates stops sms feature... i would have given 5 stars if developer had put facebook sharing and sms feature...

simple yet usable. I will give them 5 if I can share it in the net and some editing like font colors, etc.....
