Used to call to check my Balance and what had posted to my account, no more, all info and transfer's done through app. Super easy😁
I am able to deposit from anywhere. Move money between accounts. It is very usefull!
Transfers take forever, balances take days to update. Credit card account opens in external browser window and still doesn't show transaction details. Font is small, navigation is more complex, and it is slow to load. This is really just a skin for their website. If I wanted a web app, I would open it on the browser. I called customer support and they were no help. Old app was more accurate.
The edocuments will not open after being downloaded. It says they're saved as a pdf (I have 2 pdf readers) but when clicked to view it says it can't open, that it can't find the right program to open this type of file. I have never had a problem with viewing/saving/printing my statements until this update. I've been with this bank for over 10yrs and have never been this disappointed in them before. Please fix asap!
Previous app was better. Not very happy with the switch. My main complaint is it does not show recent transactions for my ns bank credit card. It only shows recent transactions for my checking and savings accounts. The old app showed it for the credit card. The app is a little slower and less easy to use. Also I don't think it allows for redeeming credit card points/cashback like my other credit card apps allow. Could have been done better.
The recent update is far from an improvement. It removed the ability to log in with a pin and now requires the password to be put in every time. Additionally navigation is clunky and getting to the information I want is a hassle. They polished the interface but made it annoying to use and not run as well as before.
Seriously need an update to this app. About a month now it's been giving "Unexpected Error". Have to back out 20 or so times because force stopping doesn't do anything. Leaves a small blank box, only then can you close it and open it again. In a digital age, financial institutions should be more user friendly and accessable. Already opened an account somewhere else that I can have access to my money without jumping through hoops.
The app used to be good. Now it's garbage. I get kicked out every month or two cause it says I entered the wrong information. Every time I have to go through the password reset process which is a huge pain. And every time my pass code remains the same which is why I get kicked out in the first place. Also, the app just randomly opens and interrupts whatever it is you're doing whenever it wants.
Love everything about the new update (especially the fingerprint option) except how the balance information is not correct. It doesn't show the actual available amount and doesn't show every transaction causing a delay in the AVAILABLE amount. It completely throws me off on my spending because I think I have more than what's actually there and now I'm in the negative and by the time I get money, the daily fee for being in the negative will have taken my whole check! NOT happy
I have had this app for SEVERAL years. Never had a problem until 2 weeks ago. Can't get into my account via the app due to a constant error message popping up. I can get in through the desktop with no problem but that does not help me with mobile check deposit. You would think the app would work since you can't go into the bank.
It's great, was so excited when it came out; it has helped me a lot.
First off, I do not like change but I do know I need to embrace advancement or be run over. My first issue with this app vs the last NSB app, is that I can't add a PIN to login instead of a password. And then mobile deposit seems to make you jump through hoops to get the deposit done. Sensitive to the pics?? Anyhow, otherwise I am getting used to it and it is more modern, makes transferring money between my accounts much easier and I will keep getting used to it. I do love NSB though!

I have never had any problems with the mobile app or in the bank
New App-Tried to login and it didn't recognize my credentials. So I did forgot password and got that switched over. Next it states my username is incorrect. So I tried and it didn't except it, I changed to CAPS. NOTHING. Forgot username and after 3 attempts it finally sent me the verification code, it was my 1st username I entered, the one that it wouldn't accept. I hit submit, then it tells me I'm locked out and I have to call a number which is currently closed.
Every week it seems to have error messages. I've removed and reinstalled this app and sometimes it will actually work. But the last 3 days is not the case Constant error and try later messages. 😞😞😞 You would think that with all the 1star reviews they would fix this bad app. Nope 3 years and still bad as ever SMH
Wow. Grey on white font. And could you possibly make the font any smaller? I can't read this now without my glasses. And the banner that sits at the top telling me I'm in my checking. Duh. Totally useless. It just cuts out 1/4 of the usable screen. I don't see any improvements here.
The old app was wayyyy better. Now i hate going on it, everything looks weird and not easy to maneuver around. The credit card part takes you to a different website ( which seems scary anyway) but then you cant get back to the original mobile banking area.
Does the bare minimum. lacks many common sense features. More often than not when i try to check my account I can't log in for some reason. Way behind and hasn't improved in a LONG LONG time. In response to the developer replying, I've already been in contact with your help department and already gave my feedback, they said the app would be updated soon with MAJOR updates and IMPROVEMENTS, this was about 2 or 3 months ago and nothing has changed. NOTHING HAS CHANGED STILL 1 STARS!!!
Horrible app and horrible service. This bank got worse by the day. I have hours of typing to do to clearly spell out the incredible incompetence of this financial institution. In branch, online, and by phone. Their incompetence will surely result in my dealing with a credit reporting agency at some point. It is still going months after I closed the account.
Well it was working. I made my first purchase with my credit card and went to the app to check on account, and it will not load--- application failed to load, and says retry. And it fails 😞 . not excited. But guess ill be visiting the bank on monday. Hope i can use the app. I was happy til this. Hope the kinks get worked out. The app. Was pretty conveniant til it stopped working... 🖐😎its all good i deleted app. And waited a day and reinstalled. And it works great again yay!!!
EVERYTIME I TRY TO LOG IN MY PASSWORD IS ALWAYS WRONG. This goes with their actual website too! First I thought I was crazy and I consistently kept forgetting my password but then I had to reset my password more than 10 times now! Like this is ridiculous, i even wrote down my password once I reset it and it doesn't work. It never works. Theres something wrong and it's bugging be it's been happening for years. Also not the that their whole website and app doesn't work on Sundays and Mondays.
Horrible mobile deposit! I've spent 30 minutes of taking the same picture several times only for it to say. Can't verify amount on check... So now I have to drive down to the bank to deposit it the old way. STOP BEING LAZY AND FIX YOUR APP!!!
Always never works. I have to uninstall at least 2 times a week..smh. After seeing all the reviews....fix this app already! Are you not seeing what I am seeing? Stop sending macros for a response and just fix the app! You said you implemented a fix? I am still having the same issue. Busy server errors having to uninstall reinstall...smh i give up on this app!
The app itself worked fine. I just can't stand this bank. It's cost more in fees for paying things out it never should have, just to try and destroy a person's financial well being. Worst banking experience ever.

Such a frustrating app Still same issue. Won't accept check images no matter how many times you tried. Never had issues before . I will rate this app LESS than zero if I can. With this new app it is not easy to make check mobile deposit. I gave up after a few times the app asked me to retake images. Never had this problem with the old app. That old app always worked very well. This means that I have to go to the bank to make a deposit (?)
