Since last update app crashes and does not open at all. Have reinstalled multiple times, but no success. Prio to this amazing app that i used daily!
Would be better if maps would load instead of just a blank screen. 1 star because I can't give 0 star. Galaxy A52 5G Android v12 UI v4.1 App downloaded 25/4/22. Now deleted, useless.
It's ok. There is a lot of information but the filtering ability is limited. What I'd like to see to get this to a 5 star rating is the ability to input ages and abilities of travelers. So if i wanted to go on a bushwalk with a 5 year old or an old person who doesn't have the ability to handle long and arduous journeys, I can find those walks and spots more easily.
I like the app overall, though I believe making it shareable would be a help. I spend time taking screenshots and sending to people, so we can discuss...being able to make aspects shareable, would make planning a little more simplified. I do think some of the gradings on the trails need to be addressed, as I believe a few are graded incorrectly.
I'm having trouble opening the app,was fine before,I deleted and reinstall but still same.??help please
Downloaded the app and the associated map trail I'm planning to do, offline. Anyway, I turned off wifi and mobile data and left GPS on, and uh yeah... the app doesn't work. Literally if you download this app hoping to use it offline when treking in places where there's no data, forget about it. Not very helpful at all.
I've been using this for a while and find it very helpful when planning a trip. My main concern is that, while it is useful to download the info for a park, it doesn't seem to have any options to save to the SD Card, even though the app has access to it, it just saves everything internally and tales up too much valuable space. Tell me how to fix this and I'll be really happy.
i love knowing where all the parks are, etc... what you've got on this app is great. However, a huge % of people are mobility disabled, like myself. I'd really appreciate it if you could mark somehow, to make life easier for us & so we can ascertain whether going into one park or another would be worth the/our effort. Trust me, it's an EFFORT. An effort we wouldn't mind if the payoff is at our destination It would be fantastic if national parks would make more parks disability friendly. Thanks
Difficult App . Ok I'm at narrabri and the app keeps defaulting to an aboriginal area next to kaputar. I need to know about Mt kaputar and this does not come up in parks nearby. Also when I ask for the map I can see Mt Kaputar park but you should be able to click this and default to this park but it's impossible. Now I know that esri can do this as a once esri user of remote sensing/mapping for another parks agency. Get with it npws, make this app friendly and fully flexible.
Filtering is almost non existent. Tried to find a walk, got 550 results in one park, no way to filter it down to distance, how easy/hard, water or bush, nothing. Pretty useless - back to Google.
Concept is great but using it for information is difficult. The maps don't open and go back to the previous screen. Would like to check out the trails before taking the kids out...
Often when I click on 1 park and move to another it won't change park and is stuck on the 1st park. App also rendomly crashes frequently. Otherwise would be a terrific app to browse parks quickly. I'm on a Galaxy S20 running Android 11
I find that app too complicated to use I would prefer it just to find where you are automatically. instead of downloading every single map of the forest you go into. thank you
Ridiculous. I can't even find what parks are near me - the best is a tiny postage stamp map with no names, when I try to zoom in it opens a new map that doesn't show the parks at all. Maybe it does have some uses, but I don't know what.
There appears to be no way to buy a DAY PASS on this app or the web site, only an annual pass. I don't want to spend $300 for 3 days. Why is there no option for short term passes? Would be nice to be able to login on this app, as per web page, to see by bookings at least.
doesn't easily show free camping regions or arras. when travelling long distances and need a place to set up camp for the night, I just want to know what regions / roadside arras are favourable to camp.
Actually made me laugh. So so bad. Downloaded maps don't show. Trying to view maps online forces the app to close. Quite dangerous in a sense. One would hope that unwitting tourists don't rely on this app.
Is app looked really good when I first download it untill I started using it unfortunately every time I try to open a map the app closes every time with out fail real disappointed and not very good if I'm out on trail and want to use it to see where I'm and were I'm going I really hope this problem is fixed
Terrible terrible app. Worst one I've ever used, doesnt work, unresponsive, crashes, no information. You are risking your life using this app to navigate any nsw parks.
Doesn't seem to have any information about wheelchair accessible bushwalks, which was disappointing it being a government run app.
Very impressive initiative and very well thought out app. Easy to use and informative. Highly recommended. Wish all States had one.
Doesn't even have satellite veiw in maps. Also a google search brings up more parks in the area than this app. Not very usefull
Opens then crashes, you need to sort out why it keeps crashing, Android user.
App is great for information, but I have no access to maps, either online or download, which is the sole reason for downloading the app. I tap see map in the online version and the app crashes. If I tap see map on the downloaded version app goes back to online version where the previous mentioned issue occurs. Phone: OPPO AX5s
