For the most part this is a very good app, I just wish the text messages that inform you of money coming out was better optimised. The messages won't let you know if the money is going into or coming out of your account. Purchases at different days and/or to different places will be randomly added together in a lump sum text message. Sometimes even duplicated. This makes detecting fraud more difficult.
Still cannot connect through the app. Getting a screen stating that for security reasons your device has been restricted. 2 calls placed has not resolved the problem. Living in Korea this is not something that is fun having to do as I either have to stay up very late or wake up really early to make these calls. I have a Samsung galaxy note 10 plus. The latest software is installed on my phone. Please, figure out what is going on with your apps security.
Was excited to see NSWC had a Mobile App. Downloaded it today onto my Galaxy S10. I attempted to deposit a check, but sadly once I took the picture of the front image, I was brought to my phones home screen. I went back in and app still showed loading, loading of the first image. Never stopped. I finally shut it down. Logged back in and tried again. Same results. Biggest benefit to a banking Mobile app is to be able to deposit checks. Hopefully this bug gets worked out.
Typically it works okay, but more than it should, I get connection errors and I know our internet is working and my cell phone and tablet are connected to it. As soon as I retry, it goes through.
Locked me out of my Android because it said I have to update my app. Went to update the app and it's taking a long, long, long time to update. It still hasn't updated to let me in. If I didn't have unlimited internet access it would have cost me megabucks in access time to update this app. Called Topside, they gave me instructions on how to access and update my account via the website, but that doesn't solve my problem. Still trying to update and can't get in.
Horrible app, good customer service. This rating is only for the app. Fingerprint synch with phone, does not work. This mat be an early app in development but as it stands the app is only useful for checking transactions and balance.
rather mediocre for a banking app. lack of in depth information on what's available. loan applications should take my info on file instead of me having to fill it in again. credit cards are lacking in way of rewards and reward level tiers.
App works pretty good. Sometimes it does have long wait load times. But overall good app. All apps have some flaws. Does the job to check accounts and deposit checks. No complaints!!
update: still does not work after last software update. Had to uninstall and reinstall every time I wanted to sign in. Would sit at the loading screen until it timed out. Waste of time trying to get it to work.
since the last three updates, it crashes whenever I choose capture image to take a pic of a check. tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still doesn't work.
Hey just wanted to let customer service know that there's an issue this morning where my app crashes immediately after I try to open it. Doesn't even get to the sign in screen.
app used to work flawlessly and I relied heavily on mobile check deposit, I cant even login into the app anymore, it crashes when I press login. I cant deposit check on the online website. This is incredibly frustrating
I wish devices would stay registered longer. It's annoying to have to register my personal ohone or personal computer every other time I use it!
When I try to deposit a check and it doesn't go through it automatically shuts the app down and I have to open it back up.
makes me 'register ' my device almost every time I log in. it's really irritating. I've had the same device for 2 years.
Love the app, very responsive and secured. Downside is that the bank is very slow doing reports of your credit

App crashes whenever I try to log in with username or pin. Using Samsung Galaxy Note 9, running Andriod Pie.

It's great to be able to check what I have whenever I need to (and when I don't have my laptop) I'd recommend it to others too.

Can't download, but found that hooking up to WiFi was the trick.
Can't mobile deposit. Frustrating as the closest bank or ATM is over 40 miles away.
Fixed it on Android 9. Uninstall, reboot phone, reinstall.
This is perfect, just what I needed. Mobile check deposit works, though is a bit finicky with lighting needed on your check. A sunny room is best for that, which does get a bit annoying. I LOVE the fingerprint authentication, and how there system displays your accounts runny after login. I don't know of any faults with the app. I do think it's a bit odd that mobile check deposit is under the transfers section rather than it's own button, but oh well.
