NTTA Tollmate®

Can't even log in any more. Not like I get an error, or my account has been locked, or anything like that. No, it just doesn't do anything. Enter my credentials, push the button, the button blinks....and nothing happens. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, wiped the cache and data, I've done it all. Nothing. It's literally 100% useless at this point.

Used to be fine but now I can't even login. No error message or anything like that. Pin does not work. Fingerprint does not work. Entering credentials does nothing either.

I have had this app for over 2 years now and I have never had a worse UI. Everytime I try to login I spend 20-30 just trying to get access to my account. Or the app just doesn't feel like working that day. You think with how much this group makes on tolls they would spend a little of it to make a decent app that actually works.

Despite having correct username and correct password, can not log in. Yes, I reinstalled and started over. Nothing works. Useless.

Terrible I was out of town for 2 weeks with a rental car let NTTA tell you I used $380 in toll in Texas although I was in Atlanta. This app is terrible and they still trying to get$20 from my credit card everyday amh

This app is horrible. Every time I try to log in it says my account has been locked and I must reset my password. I go thru all that, it tells me my password change is successful. I try to log in and it says invalid password. Horrible horrible app

Removed the most important feature, notifying you of a low account balance! The old version we would get notifications when our account was low so we could add funds. This new version offers no push notifications at all. Only benefit to the app is being able to make payments without having to call in or go on the website.

Don't expect too much from this. You can do the basics, but the UI is going to frustrate you. Every time I change pages I have to click through the terms and toll perks pages. Can't hit the back button to go back to account summary. It's very... Clunky. Doesnt show account number, the pin set up page has the boxes all over the place. It's like a 3 year old designed this.

I hate this app and this company. I have been traveling to North Texas for 3 years and have been able to add rental cars to my account quite easily in years 1-2. This year the app changed, and I was able to finally figure out how to add a rental car earlier this year. On Labor Day weekend the NTTA office was closed, and I was unable to add the rental car to my account after receiving an error message on both the website and the app. There was some underlying issue that occurred, but they were unwilling to look further into my issue. Therefore I will be charged surcharges from the rental car company for tolls that I wanted to pay from my toll tag account but was unable to due to technical issues from NTTA. They were unwilling to resolve my issue. I hope something can be done about this awful organization.

A neccessary app but this feels like robbery and the toll ways are extremely expensive. Would not recommend but I have to have it which isn't cool. Some toll ways are as expensive as $10 even if you drive a mile and even if the highways are the same speed. Also doesn't count when there's a wreck, you still pay full price. 👎👎 theres also a "reward" system which requires you spend money to "save" money. I have like 50,000 points

Pretty good app. Easy to use and recharge my account. Fun rewards too For those who have the issues with the app errors...Uninstall and reinstall the app. The latest Android security updates messed with the phone configurations. It is NOT the app that is failing. Remove and re-add if you have issues with any app. If still having issues then reach out to support.

Notifications don't work half the time. So account goes into negative and get a zip cash statement. Which then isn't even sent out on first notice and they hit you with all the charges. I don't allow automatic billing. Because you're not going to take another 20 or 40 when I still have 20 on there! And then you can't view invoices on it. All it says is there are monthly statements linked to this toll tag. Actually always says that even if they're paid. Come on get it together!

At some point the app stopped working because "Tollmate is not available on simulators, devices with debugging turned on or devices whose operating systems have been changed from original factory settings", and my device is neither of those. All banking apps work on this device perfectly, but Tollmate apparently decided that it manages information more sensitive, than banking apps. It not only blocks login, but other features too, like trip calculation or roadway map. What a shame.

App is not working. As soon as I try to login the app displays an error message: "Tollmate is not available on simulators... " , etc. Called NTTA support and they told me to reinstall the app, which I did, but the error is still there and the app is useless. Update: Called again to NTTA support, it's a known bug that they are working on and they claimed it should be fixed by May 7th

3.5 star decent? Menu is kinda janky. Not very user friendly, if your aren't tech savy or able to figure out how to navigate the odd tabs and menu changes. The new UI looks better than the old one. So there is some improvements. Anyone who says you can't log in anymore? Just uninstall and reinstall, troubleshooting 101. Might be a developer update issue? Not sure, but it fixed that for me. If it is, probably should not release this version without forcing an update. Will re-evaluate later.

This app does not work anymore plain and simple. It's sad because it was pretty useful until some idiot developer jacked it up. You can no longer log in. Edit: After browsing some of the reviews, I reinstalled it to see if it was fixed. It turns out there is now a completely different interface that DOES NOT WORK. There are critical pop-ups and error messages MISSING from this app not to mention the autofocus on inputs causing more clicks than necessary. These developers seriously are something

Was doing well until I got an advertisement notification for grubhub. Most well developed apps have the notifications separated out so that you can opt out of certain kinds of notifications. The NTTA app has all funneled into one app, to the effect of if I block notifications for ads, I'll miss out on important notifications from the app. This is unacceptable for a service I pay hundreds of dollars a year for already in tolls. Wt f just trying to give this scam co. Money and they can't even put in the effort to make it accessible. App just doesn't load stuff. Put in username and nothing. No error just 1 sec load circle then nothing. Click it again nothing. Click it 23 more times, nothing. MAKE ME SICK!

This is the worst app. You can never log in. I had everything reset and was able to get on that one time and back to the same old $h!+. So now I have to call in again to see if they even got my zip bill (due to not ever being able to log in) taken care of with what I payed last week. This is so frustrating 😤. If I could rate it lower, I would.

As the review from 3/18/2022 stated the same thing has been happening to my Toll Mate app for several months now. As soon as the app opens a message appears 'Please try again later. So I logged into NTTA website to check for any notices about this issue and found none. With all the money the NTTA makes with the tolls they charge us that they would keep up the maintenance of this app. Hopefully someone from the NTTA will see this posting and respond with an explanation, and a resolution date?

ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!!!! I call myself saving money by getting a TollTag so I started off with $20, I went through 2 tolls and my balance went down to $6... After calling I learned that the price can change depending on the time of day and where you are, and can get as high as $25 per toll... I've never heard of this nor have I ever seen a sign that said this, I really wish I could get my remaining $6.57 back from them because I'm never going through another toll ever... Absolutely ridiculous!!!!

I used to could sign into my account with my pen. The App no longer allows me to do this so I called customer service. She told me to reset my pen and I tried to reset it and the App will not allow that either.

Inconsistent and very glitchy. Works one time then another time doesn't. Especially when you need to check the amount...but they rather have it glitchy so you can't check it and charge you the $40. Fix this app for Pete's sake...as much money as yall are making off the tolls should be enough to have a decent app!!!

Opened the app and received an error stating that I need to not open this in a VM, need to disable debug, need to make sure the OS is factory spec. Workaround: Uninstalling and reinstalling opened the new login screen. Really poor that the app didn't auto update. Also, my balance is absolutely incorrect according to the mail I've received from you. Debug isn't turned on. Device is factory I have not modified the rom. Fix your app please.

NTTA is beyond what I thought. They sent be zip cash bill and and already a toll tag customer. They have already charged my account and been using the same road every day. Somehow, their stupid technical error charged me twice. I called the customer service and they want to pay me twice although they clearly know it was their fault. i explained them that had never happened and they also know the issue but just not will to work.

Useless with loaner cars, rental cars etc: app misses the option to add a temporary car (like the full website can do it). Very restricted use therefore. Other Into is decent, but you don't need an app for that.
