The New International Version (NIV) is an evangelical version of the Bible. This version is translated directly from sources in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. The translation was prepared by a group of experts representing a dozen Spanish-speaking countries, which belong to a good number of evangelical Christian denominations and which used the same exegesis as the Anglo-Saxon New International Version.
