Nuheat Signature

The app doesn't have a password recovery option. After a few attempts you get an email blocking your account. The email contains a link to reset your password via a second email. The password reset link does not work. So I'm 100% locked out. Adding insult to injury requesting the password reset triggered spam from Nuheat that doesn't have one-click opt out. The unsubscribe link takes you to a page where you are asked for your name address and phone number in order to unsubscribe. Gross.

Never worked. went through and logged each signature controller into wifi, registered using old school flip phone texting input, then email, then postal code. got confirmation emails... all 7 contollers that apparently can't see each other on wifi, and zero show up on app. plus, next to nothing support-wise on website. And, no way to control through mios/vera/android... frustrating app...

Tried to use the app and it is asking for email and password even for firat time users! How do i login when there is no option to create an account. Useless and waste of time.

Crashes upon initial opening every single time. No response from developer and no attempt to fix this after months and months.

Put the thermostat online...installed the app...nothing. Just a black display when it should show my thermostat. But when I went to the Nuheat web site and pressed LINK...all was well! The instruction email should specify this!

horrible, set up thermostat, install app........now app won't even allow me to log in got email address in but will not let me put passwords in, smh crazy

Nothing will even load on the screen after being logged in. Can't do anything. Yikes it's one of the worst apps out there.

Not properly working on Android 11. Unable to change time for the schedule.

Works great. Had to register with web site first.

Intuitive

Back in 2015, the Signature thermostat was a breakthrough(at the time of my initial review). But now in 2018, this app has fallen way behind nowadays expectations. The addition of the Away mode is nice but not fully thought because... 1. you can't custom set the away temperature other than 5°C. The Away mode was a feature exclusive to the web portal and at 5°C it set my thermostat wasn't enough to avoid a frozen pipe in winter. I need to set it to 8°C for it to keep the place above freezing temperatures. I've seen it not turning on when the app says -3°C, I had to raise the temperature manually to turn it on. 2. you have to tap/hold the up arrow for a while before it reaches to livable temperatures. Remembering the last temperature before Away mode is activated shouldn't be that difficult. Bug: the temperature don't display properly in the main page for Celcius on my Samsung Note 8 Also, should use IFTTT instead of piggybacking the Nest thermostat for home automation

Pretty simple, pretty good... Only bug I see is that year view shows J months (Jan, Jun,Jul) as I ... Might be the bottom of the J getting cut off on OnePlus 5T

Nuheat definitely only gave 50% effort on this one. Really the only thing you can do is set the temperature and establish a schedule. You can't modify device settings and, amazingly, there is no way to set a vacation mode or to simply turn it off. Neither is there a summer/winter mode. They aren't actively improving the app, so I'm left underwhelmed.

I think the mobile app is quite good. It would be nice to have some of the additional features mentioned here but the app actually improves on the wall plate in one way. If I want to turn it off I just hold down the arrow and the temperature starts to quickly scroll down. On the wall plate, I have to press and release the arrow for each degree which is annoying. Nuheat should upgrade their wall plate to use a qwerty keyboard. It's a pain to enter my WiFi login.

Continually getting can't connect to server message on app and on thermostat. Not reliable connection to floor thermostat.

Cannot seem to link to WWN thru app as instructed by nest. Limited settings. Clunky UI

One really nice addition would be if the app displayed the same local weather info that appears on the thermostat.

Needs autologin for droid. Also need AWAY switch in droid.

I love that I can adjust my floor heat without even being home! I switched my non wifi controllers out and am so happy. That app works seamlessly. And the energy consumption chart really helps with managing my electricity bills. Great feature!

There is amazingly no way to simply turn off the heat from the app! All you can do is adjust the temp up and down (min. 41d f) and set schedules. Very disappointed for a "premium product".
