please update and modernize game, very cool app in its day
The US had only six active Missile Wings in 1989: The 90th in F.E. Warren, the 91st in Minot, the 341st in Malmstrom, the 321st in Grand Forks, the 351st in Whiteman and the 44th in Ellsworth. Also, India doesn't have the range required to reach the United States. North Korea doesn't have nukes in 1989. Iran doesn't have a nuclear arsenal.
Got the free version. Beat the game in a few days. It's fun, but there's no tech tree no advancement just launching nukes to kill as many humans as possible. Winning ending is weak, cuts out as soon as the last enemy silo is destroyed, even if millions of population are left.
This game is what I always wanted DEFCON to be. Maybe one improvement could be a satellite map view rather than just a CG grid. Other than that it's great. Also more achievements could be added. It was worth noting that if you get the world down to just the one silo in Israel you can only go on nuking the rest of the world so long before Israel gets pi**ed and starts f**king your s**t.
Originally gave it a 4. Now the controls have gotten far worse. You will spend more time fighting the madly out of control globe than paying attention to the instant response from every country on earth simultaneously. Oh and with added bonus of locking my brand new galaxy rugby pro up so hard I had to remove the battery to reset it. Avoid.
Seriously I was so excited to play this because it is the excact type of role play I like but when I opened it. It said that it 'unfortunately' crashed. So developers if I were you I'd fix this before you get even more hate ratings
Need peace an alliance times with othe countries, maybe just make it possible to have enemies and friends..an alliance system. And also , maybe make game end only when entire enemy country has been nuked..much potentail with nuke commander.
It's an awesome game if you feel like destroying the world but it is quite anoying that winning the game does not give you extra points. I won with 56 megadeaths and it didn't count up to the worlds population...
Now to top off all the issues I had on my old Galaxy S III with this app, it doesn't let me fire at all on my Galaxy Note 4. I thought I'd give it a shot on my new phone, but nope. Works even less on a new device.
Everything I expected from an app like this. Not alot of replay value as the US, but thats why I'll buy the full version. And to all those haters; It's not about winning it the fastest, it's about getting the highest kill count.
I do not really understand how the war system works. Sometimes it seems a nation will just begin firing on me unprovoked after I #SLAMMED someone else, I am guessing there is an alliance system. Maybe you could change the silos different colors for different countries, other than just red except me? Also, Russia is OP and you cannot go on an offensive once they have.
The way Russia has 12 silos and America has 9....really and Britian has one, in reality Russia would have 9 America would have 12 and Britian would have 4, oh and add Canada and Japan seems to be a waste land their....other than that really good game.
Good game but the MIRV children upgrade doesn't do much, so I just use the abms for the cities and icbms on the nuke stations
The game could be very good. But its unbalanced and overall hard. The way you see everything is bad. Trying to find an attacking country is hard. And often "everything" looks the same. If you could fix these you would have a great game.
Every time I click on the icon in goes to a black screen.

Awesome game can't stop playing it but,you should make an online mode so you can play with and against people in your area.
It seems like a very enjoyable game but I would not know because every time I try to open it it say that it has stoped working please fix this I would love to play and rate 5 stars.
Really confusing with the system of enemy retribution plus "rapid fire" enemy silos. I started yesterday and when I opened it today it kept my achievements but my upgrades were gone.
It keeps on crashing on me whenever I try to load in. I am very disappointed because it looks really cool.
Failed to even start on my Smart Ultra 6 with snapdragon quad core.
Crashes first time crashed then the next and the next -1000000/5 stars given
Used to love it have bought 2 separate phones and have been unable to play on either. Please fix it. So I can buy it and not worry of wasting money!
I beat it on only 2 mins with only reload speed lvl1. I just use mirv's ond cities neer enemy silos and used icbm's on the rest of the silos. I had 5 silos left and half my population gone.
This app was really fun but it doesn't work anymore. I had to search through my play store library to even find it. Please update it to get it to work again.
