Null Keyboard
This keyboard is useful if you have an external bluetooth keyboard paired with your phone and you want to stop the on-screen keyboard from popping up all the time.
To use, go in to keyboard settings and enable null keyboard, and then pick it as your input method. No keyboard should appear until you change it back.
NOTE: Samsung galaxy tabs running the latest android have an issue where the keyboard is frequently switched back to the on-screen keyboard. As far as I can tell, a fix for this needs to come from samsung, not from me. Even if it's something I can fix on my end, without a tab to test on, there's no way I'm going to be able to figure out what it is.

I use the Stadia controller connected to my phone and tablet using a USB C to C cable and the virtual keyboard would always pop up when hitting R2 when I'm in a game that isn't in the Stadia app. Null Keyboard is an awesome workaround!
very useful when I connect my device with an external keyboard, without this app sometimes keyboard still showing up "mostly when I turn on the Prediction on it".
Great app but after installation, keyboard swpie and word prediction are not working anymore on samsung keyboard, of course this happen after returning to use samsung keyboard. Please solve these issues and will be 5 star app.
it does it's job, but has no way to switch it off again. No quicktile nore showing the keyboard switcher while using it.

works for me I have a damaged digitizer in my Z3c, so phone permanently bound to my Ubuntu via Usb2Rj45 and ScrCpy to mirror the screen. Since I do not need the (OSK) OnScreenKeyboard this "null KB" is just perfect (after finding how to activate in my CarbonRom 6.1 / Oreo).
Dangerous! There should be an on screen setting or option to change back always.

It dosen't seem very useful at first but for a wireless keyboard user this app is game changing!
Target level API is 4 (Donut). Surprisingly it works on Pie, but this app is useless on Android 10 (Q).

This app does not collect data. That warning is the default Android warning when you install ANY input method. This app wouldn't be able to do anything even if it collected data. It has no permissions to save to SD, access internet, so it would have no way to do anything with that data. And with a size of 18kb, there definitely isn't enough code in this to mine data. Stop being paranoid.
In use with an mk808B and the newest Finless 1.7 ROM. Works perfectly. Only minor issue is that you need to completely exit the app you changed your input method in, or you'll get a rectangle over the area where the keyboard would have been. This only happens once though and after that it works perfectly every time.
I had a frustrating issue using my tablet with a keyboard because I just wanted to not have a keyboard on the screen because I had an external one to use, so there was no point! It just took up screen real estate. I did a quick search on here and this came up. Lo and behold this was the answer to my poblem. So glad this exists!
This is the perfect solution for making the onscreen keyboard disappear when using a Bluetooth keyboard! Turn on Bluetooth, onscreen keyboard dissappears, turn off Bluetooth keyboard, onscreen keyboard comes back! You don't even have to select which keyboard at the switchover! Nice work Dev! This is how it should work-automatically! Has Google hired you yet?
