Great app. My child enjoys using it and it has improved his maths skills. My only issues is that recent updates no longer allow us to scroll down to lessons in story mode. It's really annoying that we have to log into the web version to progress. This is really basic UX stuff that shouldnt be happening and fundamentally defeats the purpose of the app. So until this is fixed, I'm giving it 2 stars.

If you scroll through the reviews, many parents have pointed out that the game is frustrating for children because it ties progress to speed of response - and by default requires very fast responses. I'd encourage the developer to look for other ways to measure progress. Duolingo is a good example of an app that measures progress in a different way. Speed is a skill in both maths and language, but it isn't fun to have to meet a minimum speed threshold in order to progress.

The last 4 levels in Brass are impossible to score 3 stars on for the age group it is intended for. My 5 and half son does this on a tablet and no matter how he tried it was impossible to score 3 stars. I switched platform to my phone as it requires smaller movement of little fingers(less fiddly). Still it was impossible for him to get 3 stars even though he was verbally very competent. I tried one of them to see why he was so frustrated, it took me 4 goes to achieve 3 stars. Please fix it. My son's enjoy the challenges and progress. Can be a bit addictive!. Youngest has hit a blocker whereby he has completed Tin but the summary shows he has only completed 40/45. We've no idea which 5 it thinks he's missed so don't know which to ask him to redo.

My son sent a sneaky rating while doing his homework (I will have a word with him). In truth this is one of his favourite math games. It is a great app with short exerct to strengthen math knowledge. Thanks!

My son absolutely loved this, that was until I couldn't sign in anymore. One minute working fine next it logged us out and now saying that the log in details are wrong. So 4 stars when it works (wish it could keep you signed in) but 1 at the moment since it is not working

My daughter loves it. The speed you need to get 3 stars for progress is a good challenge. I dont think the time needs extending on the levels because quick thinking and quick math is important. She does struggle with some of the less common pop ups and doesn't know what to press to continue but otherwise has no issues with the challenges.

Good practice although very very repetitive (I guess that's the point). Currently won't let us past level 56 despite getting every question right. We've tried it about 6 times and it only gives one star so have to repeat the level. It seems to be impossible to get 3 stars (I'm a maths teacher and even I can't get them doing it super fast and 100% accurate) but now we are completely stuck. Help please!

Love the luck and feel of the game and helps with learning maths. However big issue with the amount of time allowed to complete a level. Means I have to complete so she can even progress. She's doing the level in good time and with no mistakes but is still only getting 1 star or less. Only adults can go that fast! Please can this be sorted. Also seems buggy on the kindle tablet but OK on samsung tablet

My daughter uses this with school and really enjoys it. I agree in with the comments about speed needed to complete a level, HoWeVeR, the practice means that she's completely competent in the level by the time she completes. Managing her frustration through this is sometimes a challenge - reminding her of the coins she earns each time regardless is a help. And I do wish it would save our logon details.

Great interface with bold graphics and makes good use of building blocks to aid visual number association. The issue is the rediculous speed that's required to progress from level to level. My daughter is reach frustration level as she knows the answers but can't press the keys fast enough to progress. Please sort it out, maybe give the parents or teachers the ability to set the time challenge.

Good game but too quick for children. How can a child be expected to work out something in less than 10 seconds? You are setting them up to fail with unrealistic timings. My partner is brilliant with maths and he has to speed through these to get our daughter through levels. She cries because she can't get progress to the next level all because you've set stupid time scales. Get this mechanic sorted out!

Ok, but very buggy. Some levels require ridiculous speed for a child to progress: there simply isn't enough time for the child to process the information and complete the answers. Which leads to a frustrated child who has no interest in the app which isn't good if they are fully capable of answering the questions. Also doesn't sync properly between devices, meaning you can't swop devices until the next day. Otherwise quite good, but not worthy of more stars until the bugs are sorted.

As a parent and a teaching assistant in KS1 its a great idea, however even when I entered the answers myself on iron level it still doesn't give 3 stars. It's actually hard to move through the levels which is so demotivating and instead of being excited to play my daughter, 7, is put off which is such a shame. Yes it needs to be repetitive to allow learning and retension however do that through progressing in the levels as a reward for being correct and they will build the speed.

I use this in school and it's amazing I'm trying to be top in the school it's amazing you can log into your school it's good for people learning

This really helps you learn more maths as it has stuff like addition ,subtraction, doubles, less than, and more than. It has taught me more than i knew it has really helped me get on. You can also make your own bots by buying them with the coins you have colected from each level you have passed . I rate this 5🌟s! This education app is great!!! 🐱👍💖.

My daughter loves this and with her doing this daily is showing in class as she remembers certain number sentences. Especially her 7s, 8s and 9s. Only issue we have is since the latest update we are unable to see badges. My daughter is on her way to day 75 streak but upset she can't check her progress. Is this an issue with the android version as we don't do apple products in this house.

My son has to do this for homework. Its good at testing him with his maths BUT you need to sort out how fast it expects kids to do each level. I swear you want it done in 10secs, my son got a good few levels right but if he takes his time, he gets one or no stars. Its really getting to him now as he struggles with maths anyway and its expecting him to answer really quick!

Good app for learning kids maths but they have to be so fast to answer and input the answer to be able to move up a level. My son is 5 and just learning maths so he isn't that fast but even with him saying the answers and me Inputting it sometimes we still aren't fast enough. Its ridiculous!

App update has screwed the app. A new level was added in the middle of iron level, despite being completed. Everytime we log on the app we have to start at that level despite being far ahead now. Contacted the developer and reported it but so far no update to fix the bug

My son loves this app, however it is really buggy on the kindle, large parts of the graphics dont load, including the button for logging in,so you have to click around blindly until you hit it, works with no issues on my phone though. UPDATED - 5 stars now as it's working perfectly on the kindle, very happy little boy, and me! Thankyou Maths Circle!

My grandson almost plays this everyday his level I highest in his class his on copper 73 but I've your on that level maybe there would be a lac idk how it happen it's easy and good math even I like it thanks however someone did this game God bless you whoever did it and well done and congrats

This game is amazing as it teaches kids addition and subtraction which encourages them to learn and experience maths

Great idea but needs a lot of work Kids find it frustrating as it's frequently saying it cannot save a game. The keypad is a little unresponsive also so makes quick times more difficult than it should be and also the app didn't remember login details. So have to sign in each time

So I rate this a 5 star because I'm a 9 year old kid who loves maths and this helps alot also since I do it at school in the afternoon and harder questions in the morning so this app should help kids get alot better at maths and also it's really fun a you can win badges you'll never get bored with the badges levels and challenges you can evan try and get every skin in the game I recommend playing it. also watch cutceenes. :D Thank you rusty I'll get you DIAMONDS :D and also your awesome too🥰

I'm giving this a one star rating for the time being, I've literally just downloaded it onto my Samsung Galaxy note 10 and when I go to register all I get is a black screen, I've waited for a few minutes just on the off chance that something may happen but nothing does. Very disappointed.

Please sort out the coin levels on apple! They will not load on my sons ipad so he then has to play that level on my android phone but then we can't get the level to update on his ipad no matter how many times we log off and back on and restart the tablet or phones. It is so frustrating for him when he has to use my phone to complete the level anyway, but to then have to wait sometimes a day for his ipad to recognise it has been completed on another platform is ridiculous!! Please fix it ASAP!

Great app however there seems to be an issue with Steel level 31. It let's you click on it but then only loads a blank screen and then you cannot progress any further
