The app could certainly use some updating to make it more user friendly. My biggest concern is the journal, which has mysteriously moved my breakfast power fuel to the dinner section. I went online into the Nutrisystem website to see if I missed a change to the plan but there's been no change. Strange. Fewer ads and conflicting discounts would be nice as well. Update - I've lowered my rating. Condescending response. I know how the app works. How about fixing it instead of offering workarounds?

I'm ready to go back to MyFitnessPal app. The last two weeks it crashes continuously. Tonight it refuses to open for longer than five seconds. Please get the bugs fixed. Update. Suddenly it started working the next day. So far it looks good 👍

Since update crashes all the time. I can't log food, exercise or water. Having to log in from my computer is ridiculous. Plus it is using up my battery. It is causing warnings from my Samsung system.

April 2022 update. Been using the app for 3 years with no problem, and really enjoyed it. Tonight it won't let me look back on the calendar, and I use that function a lot. Forced stop, then cleared cache, logged out, cleared phone cache, restarted phone, and after doing all that, still no luck. If I can't get this function back, I'll probably change apps. I really need the calendar look back. Too bad 🤞 let's hope

If you don't wanna read this all, the app is basically myfitness pal but with way more ads and more bugs. The app crashes whenever I press send on a chat request so the "coaching" isn't an option. The app is also almost one big ad. Also, you'd think the app would help you plan out what you'll eat during the week and automatically have all the food sent to you listed since it's integrated with nutrisystem, but not the case.

I wish the app was more adaptive. It would be great if you could add your own recipes, not just "create food." I wish you could add the ingredients, measurements, and serving size and the app would tell you the calories per serving and automatically detect the food categories based on the ingredients (Powerfuel, SmartCarb, etc.) Also, I wish when you did add a food, it would not default to other. By defaulting to other, I'm sure most of my foods are categorized incorrectly.

App crashes every time you open it. Can't be used off-line which is dumb, cause you're just putting in simple info. The scan barcode feature is so slow. Plus lots of foods put in are completely wrong on their nutritional info (calories are often listed as 40 or more greater than actual). It's smart adapt feature is useless.

First day on plan but had to relay on printed pamphlet to figure out process for 1st week, nothing available on the app. App is extremely slow to open or change pages. I have not seen a tumblimg sand clock in decades (numi is a throbbing heart?) Lots of ads. Constant email notifications to buy more food before I even started the plan. Food is ok so far, I think ii will be successful to lose weight.

Not impressed. App would be better if it kept were better linked to the plan. Nutrition and calorie info is incorrect on some items and they cannot be edited.

I love the journal portion, really helps keep me accountable. Wondering if you could add a free form text box to the bottom of the journal. I'd like to make notes of days when I may feel bloated or low energy, then be able look to see if my food/water intake for that day may have contributed to those feelings. Thanks for your consideration!

Mostly Good But Needs Improvement. Pros - Log Food - You can either scan the food barcode including non-Nutrisystem foods or manually enter foods that are not in the database. - The app automatically manages your daily calories. Cons - Once your program Start Date is entered you can't change it without erasing all of your entered data. Shouldn't be that hard! Very frustrating! - The food category legend has the 2-letter identifier symbols but not they're meaning. i.e. PF = Power Fuel.

Can't Set Up An Account. I just downloaded the app and tried to set up an account but it keeps giving me "please try again later".

The app is pretty great. A great database of foods, I haven't found much that I can't scan. And it guides you pretty well on what you should be eating and when. Great user experience, except for one exception, which is an easy fix (and would earn 5 stars from me): Please add functionality to view macros for a given time period, especially for the day. The data is already in the system for each meal that the user logs.l, so should be fairly simple.

I hesitated on downloading this bc there were a lot of whiney reviews. Soneone even said it was all ads! The adds are not that bad. The app is simple to use and does what it's supposed to do. I took away 1 star bc i really wish there was a spot for some brief daily motes.

NuMi is really great. But it takes so long for it to download and go between the different things offered. It takes at least 2 to 3 minutes. I've never had this issue with any other app I've been to. Lots of great help though!

I have been using the app for over a year now, and it works quite well. However, the ads lately are beginning to get to the obnoxious point where it is more important to advertise than have a working application. It is somewhat disappointing in that respect.

4/13/22 - giving 1 star because of the app not working correctly. The number 2 won't clear when I've read everything in NEWS. I was on NS last year in 2021 & the app worked much better. Not only that, but I wrote a review the day before (12th) & it's not here. I even checked to be sure after I'd written the review.

New to the app and, so far, the challenge is to maneuver around and figure out where everything is. Seems like it's a bit scattered, but I guess I'll get use to it as I go. Still haven't managed how to add additional activities. Otherwise the app is great 👍.

Downloaded the app and setup was a breeze. My only point of criticism so far is that you can only connect Fitbit devices to the app. What about apple, Garmin, Samsung or any WearOS device? Once more are added I'll bump up my rating.

Well my doctor said I needed to be on a 2,000-calorie diet to maintain my weight were met so the regular numi app rep said they could only go to 1200. If I wanted to use the maintenance app I would have to sign up for a trial basis this paying for it. So if you want to move up into another area and maintained they will charge you for it. That's a shame there's a lot of people that can afford it but there's a lot of people that can't and if you're a lifetime member apparently doesn't matter

Edit #1 2 days in, 2 NUTRISYSTEM items that aren't in the data base. And yet more ads. And a generic response Nutrisystem, GET BETTER. Your system relies much too heavily on an ad filled app. For what I'm paying you'd think an old fashioned piece of paper included wouldn't be too much of a stretch. Especially frustrating for first getting started! I'm having to piece together too much information from too many places and then guess to fill in the gaps. DEFINITELY NOT A STRAIGHTFORWARD PROCESS.
