having the option of an app is helpful for when you are on the go. However, the features you really like on the browser isn't available in the app which is a bummer. i.e ( seeing right away if a question in NPQ is easy, medium or hard ; also seeing related video links based on the question) When also reviewing modules, the video is really sensitive. Also, when you pause a video on full screen and go on minimized screen the video restarts. So I am not really using the App much. Hope to see more improvements. Thank you NRSNG

NRSNG is awesome. Being a blonde, they've made this content so comprehensible that even I understand it. So far, the only not-even-negative thing I have with the app is that, even though I'm an all in subscriber, it times out and starts functioning like it does with the free subscription. So I have to close the app and go back in and find where I was; it's super annoying, but the content is awesome .

Easy to naviagate and find info. I particularly like the quizzes. However, I'd like more than just NCLEX style Qs. For example: some quizzes just for rote memory, maybe matching quizzes to help memorizing lab values or matching quizzes for memorizing mnemonics. I enjoy the other NRSNG PodCast/radio app when I drive. Would like the nclex study plans to be integrated into app so that it checks off what I've done day by day and push notifications for reminders to study and NCLEX countdown.

A lot of bugs needs to be fix. Please fix the orientation of the landscape it's hard when it's not adaptable. Fix the bug from the quizzes it kicks me out and software shuts down when doing certain questions. And fonts are small.

I love the APP so far but it does have some glitches. I have purchsed and during lession plans it keeps saying I have used my free time and I need to upgrade its an aggravating factor. I also cant change screen because it will stop playing. Big test coming up and I really need them to fix this.

Soooo helpful . Simple breakdown . Love it so much . As a student, you can always have a nursing topic in your ear !! Great nursing practice questions ! Wish there were practice questions in there for the related (but non-nursing) topics too ! Only thing is some of the extra study tools and materials that are said to be attached, are not opening in the app for me :( Goes to blank landing page.

Love going through the lessons but the quizzes keep crashing and kicking me out of the app. Images aren't showing up, and it would be nice if it showed what lesson you were working on.

I discovered this app in my last semester of nursing school and wish I had found it sooner. It has been worth every penny! I watch all of the videos that coincide with my lecture material and it has helped me understand each topic proficiently. The NCLEX style questions are good practice and have helped me prepare for exams.

This app is good overall if you want to get a few items in on the fly, but really before I could give it five stars I would need to see more of the functionality available on the web within the app. The study plans are the biggest example of that, because that is the approach I take with the website. It is still useful, but would be significantly more useful if I could follow my study plans on the fly, which can't be done right now. You're better off just opening the website in your browser.

Taking NPQs on the app is okay, but I would like to use the app to go over the content. However, I prefer to go online since you can begin where you left off. Having this feature in the app would mean less hassle. Upgrading the app to mirror the web would be excellent.

NRSNG has changed so much in the last 2 years. They truly work hard to improve every aspect of the education they provide. I would be lost with it them. The apps great.. the content is spectacular.

Love the app. very convenient. lessons give good overall teaching. only problem I have is the video lessons dont keep phone screen "on" and I have to keep restarting video. but it's probably just my personal problem.

I absolutely love this app! It's a wealth of information and resources that make nursing school a lot less stressful. However, recently the quizzes have not been accessible for some reason. I pray that they fix this problem ASAP. Otherwise, I am so grateful that I found out about this at the beginning of nursing school. I recommend it to my colleagues regularly.

EDIT- even though it's been updated the rationales are poor at best. They're not informative and offer no depth . The new update to the quizzes make them pretty useless as a learning tool. Rationales are missing for some questions and it doesn't show you the correct answer anymore.

I wish it would continue playing the lectures when the phone screen goes dark. It only plays for about 2 minutes then cuts out. I wish it also synced with the desktop.

This worked great while I was in Nursing School. I've since graduated, taken NCLEX (AND PASSED the first time with 75 ?'s)... I don't need the app anymore and I have been trying to cancel this $30 per month subscription since April, and today I was charged AGAIN! So, I've now paid for May and June... not using the app, trying to find how and where to cancel... and nothing. I WANT TO CANCEL AND NOT GET CHARGED ANYMORE! It was a great app while studying for NCLEX... but I dont need it anymore

It's a great app, however, I've been having issues similar to some of the reviewers with the audio lessons freezing a short period after listening to them. Is there anything I can do to prevent the videos freezing?

I highly recommend NRSNG Prep. I didn't discover it until halfway through my nursing program. However, once I began to use it, everything in school was so much easier to follow. The way the content is broken down is amazing. I used this app when studying for my HESI, which I passed. I will continue to use this program when I take my State Board. I believe this program will still be beneficial as a reference well into my nursing career. Thanks NRSNG!

since the latest update, it has everything I have been looking for. This is great for studies away from my home computer. the content has tripled & the layout is much cleaner. so far so good

This appears to be the best app out here so far. Medsurg was drawning me. Seven days to my finals for the semester I found this app!! I believe it's been really helpful and I will be back to complete my review when I write my med surge finals. Guys I finally passed Medsurg thanks to this app. The lectures are straight to the point, ease content mastering. John Haws and entire nrsng academy you'll are the best. Thank you all for this app. You deserve 7 stars. Upload more lectures!!!

Not helpful at all. Even though this app has some information for free, none of the sections have complete access to the information unless you buy a subscription for a year. Let me remind you, nursing school is definitely longer than a year so if yo want to study smart, purchase the laters addition of NCLEX study guide and make that your bible. You'll spend no more than $40 on the study guide which will be useful throughout all years of nursing school.

Love this app! I got it my last semester of LVN/LPN school. It helped me so much in school because I'm a visual learner so videos are my go to for studying after reading my text book. I also used it to study for the NCLEX exam and I passed it!! Highly recommend to anyone who is struggling in school like I was.

Fantastic program, so far. Some minor spelling mistakes, but overall, excellent. Clear, concise material, and layed out nicely.

l subscribed for the $15.29 monthly, and I only used to the app for 20 minutes. it blocked me and asked me to pay for another subscription. so horrible, big scam. The worst part of the horrible experience was that I couldn't get a refund. why do still have a 4.2 for this app. The rating is wrong. The app takes people's money without working well. The owners should fix it.

Super helpful at making sense of complex diseases & clinical situations. Really enjoy the courses and feel encouraged by the instructors that I can do this.
