Nutritional Facts

The Nutritional Facts app provides nutrient facts on food items compiled by the USDA. By following the FDA labeling guidelines, this app displays the majority of the FDA mandatory nutrients and vitamins in the familiar FDA labeling format.
In less than 2 minutes (some devices may take longer), all the necessary data are stored directly on your phone; so, you never will be without nutrients and vitamins information about the foods you are eating.

The on-phone database contains 8,463 food items across 25 food groups ranging from "Baby Foods", "Herbs & Spice", to "Restaurant Foods". For each item, the reference weight data and up to two additional serving sizes are provided allowing you to always know what you are eating.

Not only are the essential nutrients and vitamins provided, but the recommended daily allowance are also displayed increasing your knowledge about the foods you eat.

Now with the food journal, you will be able to track your daily caloric intake and other key nutrients so that you will be able to use this information to gain further insight for your specific goals.

Another generic app with generic information! And why is it NONE OF THESE APP's have 60proof alocohol? I'm looking for an app where you can type in a specific product come, Pepsi, rockstar, Mc Donald's, ANYTHING and it will give you the SPECIFIC nutrition information/facts for that SPECIFIC product! Not a diet app or a generic app! Thank you but NOT WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR.

I am a Diabetic looking for a simple to read carbohydrate information app. Found it!! Exactly what I was looking for. Simple information, plainly shown. Easy to read. Simple to search. Downloaded a ton of apps trying to find one I liked. Does it have everything? Of course not. But for a free app it's great. Thank you to the creators!!

I never even got to use this thing. It continued "Initializing Nutrient Database... Loading Nutrient Data." After a few minutes I figured it was a lot of information, so I was kind of excited. This is going to be helpful with all the info I need. Then after 30 minutes I started to feel like there's a problem. Then an hour passed but I'm not one to give up. Two hours, still loading data, okay I'm out.

Really like the app. It's so helpful in helping to show how food should be nutrient vs. empty calorie based. Just wish I'd remember to use it more: )

I searched for "glazed walnuts" and there were no results. Then when I searched by category, it was right there under nuts. You can find what you need, but it's not as simple as it should be.

I'am a diabetic and this App helps a lot with carb counting but, wish it had more Food choices to look up the nutritional information when it comes to fast food, more restaurant menu choices and more home based food we buy at the supermarkets. Other than that I like it. :)
