Overall the system works okay. It can be glitchy (sometimes does not show zones or says can't connect). Usually closing and reopening the app will correct this. Since the latest update, some songs just won't play, or will play only part of the song and stop working. I know this is Nuvo, since other devices play my playlists without interruption. My biggest irritation with the system is that it won't play my Amazon prime Music ( I do not wish to add an Amazon Alexa).
When it works, its really good. Very frustrating overall though. We often get the 'can't connect' error message... and it always reconnects within 24 hours by itself. And now for the past several days have been getting a software incompatible with controller message, and when we follow the prompts it says the update has been installed BUT the App still does not connect to the speakers. I don't recommend this product.
Edit: Restarting the system has solved the issue. Many thanks for your reply Gerald. It is not connecting spotify to any of my home speakers. Tunein is also not available. Its not even playing the demo song any more. Its become useless and looks like a waste of money invested into the hipsmart system ay my home. I will be grateful if this could be resolved though. The app would be rated 5 stars if it works!!
This is the most unreliable app I have ever come across. I got my system installed today and ever since I have been getting searching. My other phone is connected but that 1 too goes offline every min. I dont think I will recommend anyone to use their product. I tried calling customer service at 7pm EST but I got a message saying they are closed for the day but on their website it states that they close at 8pm EST.
Since the latest update Sept. 1, 2020 (or perhaps just recent luck) the integration with Alexa has begun to work again. For some reason Alexa and Legrand would not communicate for the past 6+ months. Perhaps Nuvo's recent partnership with Sonos has forced their engineers to finally invest time to fix the usual Nuvo bugs. In any case my fingers are crossed. For the last week the app and hardware have been great. We shall see...
Okay when finally up and running but slow to connect and disconnects frequently. For example, when I went to adjust the volume, I have to tap the screen to load the app which often takes 20 seconds or more. Slow.
I have 3 zones. For some reason my phone (Droid 9+) suddenly can't connect to the system any more. Message says " make sure your players are powered on and connected to the network " iPads connect ok. Frustrating.
Super easy to use. Very intuitive design. In an A to B side by side comparison not only was the App better but the sound quality was noticeably better then the competition! I won't mention names but it starts with S. Lol!
The most unreliable app ever. When it works it's great, but as of lately, I haven't been able to play from any source. The app crashes frequently, I would not recommend until these issues are resolved.
Can't connect to my home computer anymore. Can't connect to pandora. Doesn't support Amazon music, which is all I ever use on any other device. Starting to think this was a complete waste of a ton of money.
I bought a few p600 players. After a lot of work I finally got one of them working. The app was unable to add more than one p600 player (the p600 players is not even in the component list). No customer support or documentation about this and they sell this product as "plug and play"...
Horrible system all together. We've had Nuvo multi-zone system and app for five yrs. We have 2 boxes w/ 6 zones. One box died on us no fault of our own but the company updated the system so we had to pay 1/2 price $800.00. Now our Nuvo system will not connect to the internet. We've had it looked at by the company that installed it and all they said was we need to update our system and switch to Sonos which is now the sister company of Nuvo. Poor customer service, sounds like a scam!
After the last update my player will quit playing by its self. I just have to go back in to the app and press play again but it's annoying.
Nuvo app hasn't been updated since 2020 and no longer works with Spotify.
This never connects work my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I can connect with my I products but not my phone. This app is the worst ever
i would like the ability to add other music sources to the player. Or am i just missing how to do this? if i am wrong and can add amazon music i will rate 5 stars.
Worst system ever! Never connects to your wifi and updates never work.

App says update now, nothing happens, says "updated" , can't use app.

Deezer always unavailable even though logged in. Terrible app.
App is very sporadic. I am consistently getting "add zone to group, could not complete operation" message when trying to open a zone to play. Sometimes when removing zone I get same message. also zones appear and reappear randomly making app very difficult at best to use. The app has gotten worse in the past year and as an installer I may have to move to Sonos if this cannot be corrected.
