Device connects to phone, but not to the app itself. As a workaround, simply ask a friend to install the app on their iPhone and control the device for you. Sad. Cheers! Update: Install battery at midnight to set the clock, then write down your steps and distance on paper, graph paper, or create a spreadsheet that can graph it for you. Do this in the evening, as the Fitness Tracker resets itself at midnight. Then, Scrap the App!
This app is a POS! Constantly wiping out existing profile. Can't tell what you're weight is from previous days. Graphing is the worst too. It's not detailed enough. Basically a straight line. Support doesn't fix the profile problem or details. Never improves. Appears to be abandoned app. Scale won't work with any other app that I can find or I would use just a out anything else.
One of the worst apps I've ever downloaded.The platform is user friendly, however, it does not save any of your information from the previous login. Not only do you have to log in each time you use the app, you also have to input ALL of your goals, etc. The app is 100% pointless.
It literally logs you completely out each time you close the app, & when you try to sync it tells you to step on scale! When in fact you are!! Even when you only have Bluetooth activated it still logs out completely, I will be returning this ASAP! Waste of time, money, & very frustrating!!
Bought these scales specifically because of this app. What a joke. Same issue as everyone else. I have to keep setting it up every day so it isn't saving a thing. For the price I paid I am considering taking them back and getting the cheap dial ones. Extremely disappointed. If I could give this app a zero I would.
For anyone having connection issues where the wristband refuses to sync, here's the fix: - Open Nuyu app. - Press Home button to swap to your device's home screen. - Open Settings. - Open Apps. - Tap on Nuyu. - Force Stop. Some devices will tell you it may cause unintended effects. Do it anyway. - Open Bluetooth. - Pair new device, and select the wristband when it appears. This may take a few tries. - Forget the device. - Open Nuyu. May take a few tries. - Device will connect and sync now.
Will no longer connect to my scale. It used to be good but it's useless now. Update: I figured I'd try it again. I was happy when the app was able to connect via Bluetooth. It even verified that the most current firmware was installed. It will not however update my weight. Still useless. I guess I'll go with another brand.
The scale is nice and sleek but the app.... Every time I log in, I always have to re-enter my gender, height, weight, and birthday. I would think those are things that should stay except for the weight when syncing with the scale.
Horrible - I thought maybe, MAYBE they might have fixed the app since the last poor review and hey, I already bought the scale.... but no. The app is the worst app I have ever seen. Its borderline fraud how blatant horrible it is. Nothing works, data isn't saved, and you have to re-register every time you use it. It's all the same complaints everyone else had. Wish I could give 0 stars. Scale is great but app failure is why its going back.
Total disappointment, It was easy to set up. But that's it. It will not sync with my Samsung Galaxy s8 plus, and when I click to go into the app,I have to sign in every time. Annoying to say the least. Can not believe I was excited for this.
It is widely believed the developer has abandoned this app. No response to any of these reviews or to their email. While the scale I bought still works beautifully I bought it with the intention of using it with this app. Since the last few weeks I can no longer sign in. I get an error message about 'unacceptable certificate'. I'll keep the scale and uninstall the app.
Terrible app and scale not worth the money without the app. You have to go through all the steps to create a profile every time you log into the app. The weight graph is not easy to read and nothing is saved in the app so you can't see your progress from day to day. Save your money!
Forget the app. It's faulty. But I will keep the scales for their size. Bought at deep discount at Ollie's , so I'm not surprised for the glitches app brings. False advertisement on the product package, that's why scales ended up at the Ollie's bargain store in the first place. Good luck to everyone 😁.
Useless. Makes me sign in and complete my profile every time I open it. Must open it to weigh in. Phone must be near scale (which affects weight if you're holding it). And after all that, all it does is record the measurement and timestamp into your Google profile. Use pen and paper.
It won't even sync to my phone. It said it was added but when I step on the scale it still says step on scale and when I refresh it it says never been synced but it refuses to do so. I feel as if I wasted money on something that refuses to work
POS! Won't even let me make an account, it says error 500, no matter what I do... Apparently they sold us products under the false pretense there would be a companion app to utilize the smart features and decided to lie, take our money, and not spend any money on app development and troubleshooting. They're App is faulty and needs repair and yet they haven't touched it on years!
Will not sync to Bluetooth through their app (though I could directly connect through my phone's Bluetooth, but the app will not acknowledge it, so it's a futile effort). Good Ideas Bad Product & App. Would not recommend this product to anyone!!!
While I agree that the app is a bug filled mess with how everything works. I can say I did get it to successfully sync my weight to my phone when I stood on it. It took about 3 tries to get it to work. I have not had any issues with it wanting me to make an account over and over again like others have said. Overall the features of it are cool it's just if they can all work 100% of the time.
